Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

Can be great

April 19, 2017 by DANIEL from United Kingdom

Difficult to judge. I've been a member now for a couple of years only ever doing the odd survey however after setting a wedding date 3 months ago I have been doing as many surveys as possible in the hope of getting M&S vouchers to help pay for certain wedding items. Usually get emailed a survey once a week or so but i have found if you just reopen old emails and follow the link sent while the original survey is gone it will give you a new one that they didn't email you about so far I've made about £80 in the last two months using this method. They have now deactivated my account twice however they have reopened both times after i have queried why. For that reason as soon as i hit the minimum to cash out i am for fear of losing my points. In summary can be great but don't leave it to long cashing out just in case

Disgraceful

April 16, 2017 by Amanda from United States

Wow, I thought my experience was an anomaly, but I see I'm not the only one who recently had their account deactivated out of nowhere with no explanation. I too have been using e-Rewards for many years, and have redeemed my points for multiple rewards during that time without issue. Then, all of a sudden I tried to log in and received an error message that my account had been deactivated due to an extended period of inactivity. The message said I needed to contact customer service to have my account reactivated. I followed the link to message customer service, and I explained my issue. No one responded for a few weeks even though the auto-response said I would hear back from someone in a few business days. I tried to find a phone number to call, but interestingly enough the company didn't provide one. Finally someone responded with the following scripted response:

"Thank you for your query. We have reviewed your account and we have identified several discrepancies in your account details and/or survey activity that are in breach of our terms and conditions. We regret to inform you that under such terms, we have had to close your account permanently. You will no longer be able to take surveys and claim rewards from E-rewards going forward. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter."

I replied and said I was confused because the error message said I simply needed to contact customer service to reactivate my account. I asked what SPECIFIC issues existed with my account details and/or survey activity.

I then received this response:

"We have decided to look again into your account to investigate further. This could take a while so; we will get back to you once we have an answer."

I appreciated the company making the effort to investigate further. Then, I received another scripted message again this morning...

"Thank you for your query. We have reviewed your account and we have identified several discrepancies in your account details and/or survey activity that are in breach of our terms and conditions. We regret to inform you that under such terms, we have had to suspend your account permanently. You will no longer be able to take surveys and claim rewards from our website going forward. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter."

No one even bothered to answer my question as to what SPECIFIC discrepancies existed (because there weren't any). This is a complete scam, and extremely disappointing after being a loyal member for years. It's a shame that companies in this day and age still think it's okay to conduct business this way.

E-Rewards Works For Me

April 16, 2017 by Brock from United States

I have been with E-rewards for a very long time. I use the credits for airline miles to keep my account current with United Airlines. I often don't complete the full survey due to various reasons based on my demographics and instead get $0.25 for my time. Ok they are not looking for what I can offer as a survey participant, understandable. Usually I will receive an email inviting me to complete a survey, most of the time I can use the app but some surveys can only be done on a PC/laptop. I have contacted e-rewards customer service when there has been a problem, such as completing a survey and being bumped out, and almost always they check it out and I'm credited with the full amount. Takes several days to respond (understandable) but still excellent customer service in my opinion.

I enjoy giving my opinion about products, services, food, beverages, appliances, health, pets, politics and all the other types of survey info they are collecting. Mid-March I redeemed $100.00 and 2,000 miles were immediately credited to my United account. E-rewards is fun for me knowing some entity is interested in my opinion(s). And as previously stated, I like redeeming for frequent flyer miles !!!!!

I'm surprised others have had problems.

Got booted!!

Same issue here. I did not violate any terms of service. I've been a member for years and answer the surveys honestly. I think they just didn't want to give up the more than $200 I accrued in my account.

Stay away from e-Rewards!

April 7, 2017 by Dale from United States

After putting so much time and effort into doing surveys I had over a $200 balance. I randomly had my account deleted like many others and they gave me the same generic response as everyone else. So stay away from e-Rewards. I have escalated my problem to the BBB as should you.
