Case #: 397 Plaintiff: Louise Submitted: April 21, 2008 Last Updated: May 01, 2008
I am having similar problems to everyone else on here. I have had an account (just the one) with GlobalTestMarket for a number of years now and have successfully redeemed my points in the past. However, the survey invites suddenly stopped just before Xmas.

As a result, I tried to log on to see if my account was still active and my logon info didn't work. I repeatedly requested my password and tried the details they sent me, which didn't work. I cannot re-register because my email is still in the system as a member. I can only assume that it has been suspended or deactivated, but the company did not notify me of this at all.

I have repeatedly emailed and asked for help but have yet to receive anything other than the initial automated message.

The annoying thing is I almost had enough points to claim another cheque.

I would be very grateful if you could get in touch with them and resolve the situation for me.

Thanks!

I have been a member for a lot of years now and thought these were one of the best but I applied for my latest cheque for **** points and received an email on 15/02/08 to say it had been posted and I should allow 6-8 weeks. I sent a reminder today and immediately received a reply accusing me of having multiple accounts and my account has been closed!! I have one account and my husband has one account that he opened a few months ago. I have checked the rules and find that only one account is allowed per address but this was an honest mistake. He hasn't had many surveys and hasn't earned any money and other survey sites do allow members of your family to join so it was an genuine mistake and not meant to be fraudulent-who reads all the small print? I find this despicable as they waited until I chased up my payment to tell me that they'd closed me down with no right of reply after all the years I have been with them!!!

Two issues: 1. I redeemed **** market points on Jan 10, 2008 and so far still haven't received the check. 2. They disabled my account with no explanation. I've inquired three times so far and received no response. My market points balance was close another **** since my Jan 10th redemption. Please investigate. Thanks.

GTM has contacted me saying my check my was returned and need to confirm my address. I confirmed my address my replying and also mailing the Customer Service. I redeemed on Dec 10 2008. This is my first check with them after being for 2 years or so. I mailed them like N times. They never got me back. I also posted on their blog, but it was moderated and yet I haven't been contacted or mailed my check.

Case #: 298 Plaintiff: Mary Submitted: February 16, 2008 Last Updated: March 18, 2008
I continue to receive survey requests from this company, but my account appears to have been inactivated. When I enter my email and birthdate to try to get my password sent or reset, it says it is invalid. I then try to re-register, and the site says that there is already an account with my email address. I have sent them 4 emails about this problem and get replies that just ask me for my registration number, which I do not have. My email address is ***. Thanks for trying to resolve this situation.

Case #: 285 Plaintiff: Kate Submitted: February 12, 2008 Last Updated: May 01, 2008
I signed up for membership quite some time ago and have forgotten my password. When I attempted to re-obtain my password by entering in my email and DOB, it said that my email address was NOT in their database, which indicates that I'm not a member.
So, I then proceeded to join up again (which I already did in the past) and after completing the "join now" form online, a message popped up on the screen saying "someone in your household is already a member".

I have not been able to login to my account for several weeks. I have been a member of this panel for several years and have never had this problem. They currently have an offer to complete profile surveys ( 10 of them for 10 points each) which equals 5 USD upon completing them i notice they had only credited me 85 points. i emailed their customer service who said they will investigate the issue and this was about a week ago. I redeemed 1020 marketpoints on Oct 10 from Globaltestmarket and as promised i waited more than 6-8 weeks for my cheques to arrive. It has been more than 10 weeks (74days) and i still havent received my cheque! On contacting the customer service i was told by a lady that the cheque had already been dispatched, but that cannot be since even snail mail gets delivered to India by this time "if posted". Two weeks back i received an email that my cheque will be resent and i will be notified on posting but i am yet to receive any email from them on cheque mailing!
Resolution Outcome

I have been a member of Global Test Market for almost a year now and I quite don't understand what is happening to my check of *** market points redeemed on 12 October 2007. I have written so far about 5 emails as follows:

***e-mails not displayed to protect user's privacy

According to their website they claim that checks issued to people within United States should take 4 to 6 weeks. So far it’s been more than two months I still haven’t received a check.

If you could help in this matter I would highly appreciate it.

I am getting several emails per hour all day long from GlobalTestMarket for the same survey. When I try to report this on the website I get an email stating someone will contact me with in 24 hours. Case #: 168 Plaintiff: Dorlaina Submitted: December 04, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
I have been a panel member for over 7 years and have never had a problem. I always had a favorable opinion of them until today. I redeeemed *** points on Oct. 30, 2007 and since I had not received my check, tried to log in to my account to check the status. Well, as many others here, I was denied access to my account. I contacted customer service, and received an email stating they had terminated my account because of "fraudulent activity" that I had more than one account. This is a lie. I have never had more than one account, and, the timing of their "discovery" is suspect. I would appreciate any help you can give me to straighten this out. Thank you.
Resolution Outcome
Panelist was expedited redemption check and one of their account was fully restored as two accounts had been found to be open. This complaint has been successfully resolved and closed.

Hi

I am having the same problem as a number of other members.

I have been a member of GlobaTestMarket for a year or so. I ordered my reward several months ago and have received nothing. I have contacted them by email AT LEAST 5 times and thay have never replied.

I am extremely disappointed. They have the cheeck to continue sending me surveys to complete. I have almost enough points to redeem for another award, but there doesn't seem much point.

They now won't let me log in to my account either.

I hope you can help.
Resolution Outcome
Panelist was expedited full reward payment. This case has been successfully resolved and has been closed.
Case #: 144 Plaintiff: Jerry Submitted: November 08, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
After being a member for a least 3 years and accumulating around $1000 in points that I was saving to have a special Christmas, as soon as I request my check I get an notice that they are forfeiting my points and not paying me. I guess I shouldn't have spent the past 3 years accumulating points. I have one account. One address. What's going on here? I've even helped them out when there surveys failed with errors.
Resolution Outcome
Panelist received reward payment in full. This case has been successfully resolved and has been closed.
Case #: 142 Plaintiff: Ankit Submitted: November 07, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
Despite asking for a cheque more than 3 times i am yet to receive it. They claim they post it and i didn't receive it, i find it strange that i receive my mail from all around the world from a huge number of companies, this is the only company who is unable to send payment to me.

I recently asked them to close my account because of this and they did with no apologies further confirming that they don't really care about panel members.
Resolution Outcome
Panelist had been mailed checks multiple times however to an invalid address. This case has been successfully resolved and has been closed.
Case #: 131 Plaintiff: Sonya Submitted: October 26, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
As I see from the other complaints, I'm not the only one. My account was terminated for "fraudulent activity". I tried to log in, blah, blah. I was notified by email of this, but yet they kept sending me surveys?? They said I had 2 accounts, which I didn't??
Resolution Outcome
Panelist was indeed found to be holding multiple accounts which violates GlobalTestMarket's Terms of Use Agreement. This case has been closed.
Case #: 126 Plaintiff: o Submitted: October 20, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
I have the same problem as many other panelists with a complaint with GlobalTestMarket. I redeemed 2163 market points on Aug 28, 2007 and (see info below) still have yet to receive my check. Now I am unable to login to my account, even though I enter the same username and password that I got from them through email when I requested a forgot password information. I have been with them for a few years and cash out many times with no problem and even referred them to a few people.

When I email them that I cant login to my account, they tell me that it has been terminated because of fraudulent activity. I only have one email account and I am the only one doing the surveys. Please help me get the money that I worked so hard on.

Thanks

I have not received the check I requested on 8/21/07. I have gotten several e-mails concerning this issue - each one has a different excuse - all of them pretty lame. This morning I went to the globaltestmarket website and cannot get into my account - even though I am using the e-mail and password they e-mailed mem it keep stating not a valid I.D.

I seem to be having the same problem as many other panelists.I do not have multiple accounts nor do I have fraudlent accounts with them.I am also due a check for 50.00 which was supposed to be received in sept..I then got a notice that payment would be delayed by 4 weeks on 9/18/2007.As of to date no check and now this notice.
I have never had any problems with them before and know that they have been up grading their system it sounds like they have a glitch.
In the meantime how do I go about getting my money and points?

Case #: 103 Plaintiff: JIm Submitted: September 28, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
I used to give Global high marks, but the same thing that happened to so many others has happened to me. I have been a member of Global for 2 years and never had a problem with them. I requested payment in August and thought everything was fine. They sent me an email about three weeks later saying payment would be delayed about four weeks and no further explanation was provided. Then I suddenly found I could not log into my account. I wrote customer service and they said my account had been disabled. When I inquired as to why it had been disabled I received this message: You are in our Fraud List which means that we have detected fraudulent activity under your name or account number. No more checks or surveys will be sent to you. WHen they wrote me, they even addressed me by someone elses name. They have been unresponsive only to say I need to read my User Agreement. There is absolutely no truth to their charges but I can't get them to explain so I can defend myself. They have refused to pay me $90 I had requested along with about $35 that had built up in my account. I earned every cent and have done nothing improper or illegal.
Resolution Outcome
Panelist's account had been inadvertedly disabled due to a technical glitch but has been fully restored. This case has been successfully resolved and has been closed.
Case #: 100 Plaintiff: Bob Submitted: September 26, 2007 Last Updated: January 19, 2008
They cancelled my account when I requested to cash out ($50). They claimed "fraud" or "multiple accounts", neither of which is true. They even delayed their response to my cash out request long enough for me to take a lot more surveys in the interim (more than halfway to the second $50).

Global Test Market has withheld my cheque for services rendered for a ridiculous amount of time. Each time I contact them I get the "up to 4 weeks" line.

They also throw in an excuse about "we are cautious for fraud and double claiming cases".

I have been waiting for my cheque since June.
I've explained that this is my first cheque and that there was no chance I was on any Fraud or Double Claim list... and still I receive the lame "You will receive it by our prognoses in up to 6 weeks."...

Case #: 85 Plaintiff: Becky Submitted: September 20, 2007 Last Updated: October 16, 2007
Okay this is my complaint. I have been a member of this survey site for a few years and have never had a problem but for some reason they have terminated or blocked my account. I am the only one that takes surveys at my address unless the survey specifically asks for a different member of my household such as teen 13-17 then my daughter takes it. When I email them I get no explanation to why it was blocked.
Case #: 84 Plaintiff: Elaine Submitted: September 17, 2007 Last Updated: November 03, 2007
I joined this panel in 2006. It took me forever to redeem my first $50. Then on 7/5/07, I redeemed my 2nd $50. On 8/10, I e-mailed frontdesk@globaltestmarket and asked what the status was. All of a sudden, I get an e-mail from them saying fradulent activity. I replied, that I have only (1) e-mail address with them and I am the only person living at my home address. All I got was fraudulent activity. We don't disclose the facts. I see from other complaints, this practice is par for the course. If, you don't ask where your money is, you won't get it. I reported them to internet fraud and all of a sudden my check appeared. If more panilists did this,Global Test Market would have to pay us for the time we put into their surveys. By, the way, I'm still getting surveys, til this day. I keep all correspondence.
Case #: 77 Plaintiff: Jay Submitted: September 11, 2007 Last Updated: October 16, 2007
I have not received payment since May 2007. I'm owed over $100. I did receive an email in July stating that my requested payout was delayed and could be delayed 4 weeks. It is now nearly 8 weeks later. From reading other complaints, is seems like questioning their customer service would do nothing but make them invalidate my account as fraudulent, so I'm currently just waiting to see what will happen.
I'm not filling out any more surveys though.
Case #: 72 Plaintiff: Kristen Submitted: September 04, 2007 Last Updated: September 11, 2007
Today I was asked to do a survey for them 5-100 points. (it was about all different types of non alcoholic beverages) I COMPLETED the survey, got the "thank you" page at the end, then nothing. I knew something was wrong, so I tried to re-access the survey which if it goes through it will not allow you to do. It allowed me to do the survey, thinking it was a glitch, I REDID the entire survey. (very long) this was survey number xxx. Again something went wrong at the end. I got NO POINTS for this. I emailed global testmarket asking them to please look into this and award me the 100 points for the "work" I did. I received a reply back from them say they had had technical difficulties with that survey and to please try again. I did try again, but now it says I PAUSED the curvey (which I didn't I completed this thing twice) I want my 100 points, I did the work as agreed, their system had an error on their end and I feel I should get what we agreed on. I emailed them again and instead of a response I've now noticed they have given me FIVE points instead of the 100 owed.
I would very much appreciate it if survey police would try to straighten this out.

Thank you very much.

I have been a member of this survey company for years and requested checks in the past without any problems. I requested on the beginnig of June and after two months hadn't received it. I was told to wait 10 more days of which I did and then reemailed them. They then said the check was going to be reissued and to wait two weeks. I did wait but to no avail, I contacted again and this time was sent a email saying my account was closed for fradulant activity. I was owed $50 and was almost at the amount of point to cash out again. I think they are not wanting to pay so they are claiming fraudulant activity. This is so disappointing as I really liked this survey sight, I recommended it to others and until now had never had any problems.

3 months ago i redeemed my points with globaltestmarket and was awaiting for my check, however for unknown reason i did not received any surveys from them and when i tried to logon i could not so i tried to contact them, they told me they suspended my account, I asked them why they told me that i have multiple account which i denied. I feel they are just making an excuse not to pay me, this is the first time i encountered this thing as i have been a member of 20 or more survey companies and has always been paid and was never suspended. This company is avoiding to pay me by inventing trumped up charges of multiple account. I have been a member for almost 2 years and my record speaks all the surveys and reward redemptions on one single email account xxx and yet they continue to insist what they did. It's just simple check my history and there is no fraud whatsoever.

I sent them an e-mail and they did not respond, when I sent a second e-mail they responded that there was fraudulent activity on my account. I responded to them and told them the only reason they said that is because I requested my money. To this day I am still getting e-mails to take their surveys.
