Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down GlobalTestMarket in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. As of June, 2019, GlobalTestMarket panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Unfortunately, GlobalTestMarket is no longer operational. Click the button to discover survey panels that are running and are actively looking for new members!

Payment and Rewards

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

No Problems

I have cashed out over 20000 points since joining. I have been a member for a few years. It does take time but I am able to cash out $50 every other month!

Lots of surveys but takes time...

October 28, 2014 by Fiona from United Kingdom

I receive surveys from this site most days and qualify for most of them. There are some really interesting surveys on a wide range of topics although some can take quite a time to complete (30 mins). It does take time to build up enough points as you need to have minimum 1000 points before you can redeem anything which was not clear until I tried to redeem and I got a notice informing me of this. Cash out via PayPal appears to take 5 - 10 days but so far so good.

Super!

Plenty of surveys, good points, lots of payments. Worthy!

Praise & Warnings

September 26, 2014 by Deb from United States

As far as making the most money(on 1 site) this the best I've found. I make about $50 per month, doing Global Test Market surveys BUT it's time consuming. I've noticed that the more time consuming, the particular survey is, the less chance of actually being awarded the promised points. SEARS is offering secret-shopper-surveys on many of these survey sites. You need to: Go to your local SEARS location, Take pictures inside and out of the store, speak to a salesperson about different tv models, get the salesperson to SIGN a business card for you, get written info on TVs, upload photos and answer countless questions and write many paragraphs of opinions on EVERYTHING about SEARS. I was promised 200 points for spending a total of 4 hours on this "project". I was disgusted to receive 30 lousy points instead of the promised 200. It cost more than $1.50(equal to points received)for the gas to drive to SEARS & back.On another survey, I agreed to do a 24 hour diary of all conversations, I've had with people. It was extremely time consuming and I entered endless paragraphs and answered endless questions only to reach the very end of the last survey and see a page that warns me that my pc is in danger and on an unsafe and unsecured site. I was awarded NOTHING. I also refuse to allow my children to do ANY surveys because of questionable content , I and my daughter saw in one survey and for the fact that a survey asked my 9 y/o daughter for our HOME ADDRESS, once! WHAT? Thankfully, my daughter asked me before entering ALL of our most personal information and possibly compromising our safety. From now on, I'll only complete the short, simple surveys , myself. No more, keeping diaries and secret shopper missions. I won't buy products to review them, either. By doing these surveys, we learn how unethical and slimy advertisers and big companies really can be.

Closed my account

September 22, 2014 by Kanika from India

GlobalTestMarket.com: I was a member of their site for last year and completed many, many surveys totaling probably several hours of my time. I reached the agreed upon point total for my first payment, and tried to redeem it. The site told me it would require much more than it clearly stated, so I sent them an email asking whether this was a mistake of some kind why I am not able to log in? The next day, my user name and password no longer worked. Figured, they terminated my account and said I am using so many I.d?Just because I was going to take cash out that's why they terminated my account.I just want to ask why they did it?I will never ever recommend it to someone. I am from India.
