Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

I've been doing their surveys for over 10 years, and generally been satisfied. But any time I do encounter a problem, it's an absolute nightmare, because their customer service is useless! I recently received an invitation to connect my facebook account with my global test market account and install their facebook app. I did so, and once I had completed the process, I was told I would receive 200 points within a week. Months later, I have received nothing, and when I contact them I get the same generic response, 'you screened out of the survey'. I keep writing back saying, 'if I screened out, why was I told my points would arrive in a week??' but they don't attempt to give me any explanation, they just keep saying i screened out. No wonder their rating with BBB is an F!

I am 19 years old,have been doing surveys on different sites since i was 14 and I have been a member of GTM for no more than 2 months, I have already withdrawn $45 TWICE and I'm currently at 865 out of 1,035points(for another $45 Cash Withdrawal). I know my personal experience differs from most but I hate seeing people call GTM "scam artists" and such.I don't mind the DQ's because they send me 5-10 survey invites a day and I currently average $45 or 1,035 points every 10 days.

I reside in Hong Kong. We don't have a lot of survey sites to choose from. Globaltestmarket used to be one of my favourite sites, until recently... I completed three 30-min long surveys, no credit of points. For two surveys I completed, there's a message at the end of the survey saying that "Thank you for completing this survey, but it is now closed". Another survey just screened me out after I completed it.. I contacted customer service, all I received are standard automatic replies - "We appreciate you alerting us to the issue you had with the survey....We strive for error free surveys, and will use the information you provided to help us in the future.".

I don't understand this site, I've got 1,250 points and tried to claim my rewards - box comes up saying I need at least 1,000 points to claim (1,250 is more than 1,000). Contacted them and was told I couldn't claim as I needed at least 1,000 points. This makes no sense at all, are they just trying to not pay out or is there something I'm just not understanding. Can anyone help?

Pretty much all of the surveys they send me I never even manage to complete either because I don't see it in my inbox quick enough - about 30 minutes after they sent it (not kidding) or I "don't qualify" and they take you to about 3 other surveys to try which you don't qualify for either. But hey they enter you into an online sweepstakes competition. Awesome.
I don't know why they don't just give smaller points for your time like other sites.
I'm not being unfair this happens every single time, they genuinely do seem to have the most surveys you don't qualify for than any other site. I don't understand how they can have 5 star reviews - maybe they used to be good. I'm sure they're real and experienced but I waste my time not qualifying for at least 90% of the surveys.
I'm only going to keep trying with them to see if miraculously I can do any surveys to get enough points to redeem so I can get out of there!
