Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

Good surveys with rare technical problems, but it seems a bit disorganized. Lots of repetitive questions, even in the same survey. It seems this could be solved by having some basic info entered in a profile that is always compared for survey compatibility, rather than re-asking the same basic info over and over. It does have a quick and easy reward system, and you get some points even for surveys you start but end up not qualifying for. I usually end up with a $50 level reward once every 4 or 5 months. Some surveys have obvious biases or stupid questions that can't be truly answered with the provided list of answers ("Why would I ever care about that?" would be the best answer to a good number of questions.)

After being with Harris Poll Online for several years, I finally decided to leave this review. I really don't like leaving negative data on a company, but, the issues with this company are so bottom shelf all the way across the board, I couldn't let others get jacked like I have been. Their surveys are very long and redundant, don't pay well for what they ask of you, then,when you finally get enough points to cashout, there is one excuse after another why they can't pay. They NEVER answer a request for assistance. Finally, I guess I had pestered them too often, so now I can login, see my points and my name, when I attempt to cashout I get an error message that says,"You are not a member of this panel". Lesson learned. Headed to the BBB next.

They used to be OK... but now they only send out a few surveys per year - then they do not credit them accordingly so you have to email them to see what went wrong... not worth it at all - I do not waste my time anymore.

Just quit these folks today after yet again taking a 20-minute survey, during which the questions were obviously biased, then being told I didn't qualify. They never reply to customer service complaints because they basically are there TO EXPLOIT YOU AND WASTE YOUR TIME! The surveys are designed by dullards who give you huge long lists but no "none of the above," because they figure you'll just lie, and they'll get the "results" they were aiming for. If you're over 65, they'll kick you out of every survey.

This used to be a very good company, but ever since they had updated and redesigned their site, their heads have gotten too big and arrogant. They hardly respond to anyone's messages nowadays, including mine. Their surveys are often faulty at times. I can't even check out how much I made so far because they had deactivated my account without warning. I asked them why I wasn't able to get into my account, and they actually responded. That's a first. They need to just hang it up. Their business practices have become so shady. I mean when was the last time this sorry excuse of a company was ranked in the top 10 surveys list of the year from Survey Police? I wish YourWord site was still around. After being a member with them for 4 years, I might as well just remove the ShopTracker account from my computer since they removed my account. I hope their survey company shut down permanently. It has become virtually useless right now!!
