Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

HarrisPoll gives away a $10,000 USD prize every quarter to one lucky winner in their Histakes - the Harris Poll Online Sweepstakes. You earn an entry if you have been disqualified for surveys, as well as for actions like participating in short surveys that may not award points. i only wish that they could give u real cash to ur paypal because they only give amazon gift cards, however i usually qualify for their surveys and they send me lots of them which is great so my points can add up pretty quickly. i love this site

I have been able to accumulate a decent amount of points from them fairly quickly. Their polls are easy to complete and your chances of completing a survey are slightly above average. Their redemption catalog is about average but the points required to redeem are good.

UPDATE: I've finally had it with these idiots. They cheat you out of points CONSTANTLY and their customer service doesn't give a damn whether they help you or not. I redeemed for some dorky little prize and then told them what they could do with their site. There are thousands of sites out there that will treat their members better and life's too short to deal with idiots who just want to cheat you. In short, if I could give this site MINUS 10 stars, it would be too good for them so save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a site to earn some extra money on.

I hesitate to leave reviews about survey sites because usually survey companies work out their glitches and problems are resolved within a couple weeks. It's been over a month since I tried to cash out earnings with Harris Poll, and I've been a member for over two years. They are now saying the reward has been disabled. I've sent them five different emails. They sent one email with a case number and nothing happened. I sent a follow-up email and eventually received an email nine days ago saying it would be expedited. Still nothing. I told them it's not the amount of the reward, but a question of integrity. I will be unsubscribing from this panel, and am very disappointed in the way they treat their subscribers.

Update: I finally received my earnings so I'm updating it to two stars. I was receiving survey invitations daily despite the issues with payout, so after the payout I still unsubscribed, since this isn't the first time I had issues with the panel.

I went to find out by sending an email why I couldn't get log in. I get an email 20 minutes later that they cancelled my membership. This site is terrible. I have been with them for 3 years. Now, they claim they need to update their client list for membership. They are more better sites with better survey services.

surveys take 20 minutes; you will spend 30 minutes trying to get paid.
Worst large survey company in U.S.
Now they simply don't pay.
Can't believe anyone would buy their product.
They are not getting a random sample....skews to stupid.
