On the night of April 30, 2008, I did a 45-minute survey for *** points here -- which lasted until approximately 12:15 a.m. the next day. When I finished the survey, it suddenly said, "we have reached our quota." But since I did and finished the survey in good faith, that I would receive the points, shouldn't they be rewarded? With previous surveys, if the company does reach its quota of respondents, they generally tell you that at the outset. This treatment does not seem fair, and it seems to be a violation of a contract. Your time is valuable, and it should be rewarded in proportion to how much time and effort you put into a survey. I enjoy their surveys but I also get far too many that disqualify me for not having the right Flash plug-in, even though I keep it updated as much as I can. Thank you for your assistance on this matter.

I had been a member of Lightspeed Surveys for at least 3 years and then all of the sudden, I couldn't log into my account any longer and stopped receiving invites. I had at least 12,ooo points accumulated and contacted them in order to find out what was wrong. It took them 2 weeks to respond to me and they said I had been removed due to abuse. They didn't elaborate at all or cite any specific reasons. I did nothing to abuse the account. I took their surveys diligently and always followed the rules set forth. I sent them another email asking about the specific reasons for my banishment and if I could at least cash out my points before leaving. I have not heard back since and I am extremely displeased with their customer service. Any help resolving this problem would be much appreciated.

I requested a PayPal payment in August of 2007 and never got it. It shows up in my Lightspeed account as having been deducted from my points total, but I never got the $10. Also, almost $10 worth of points "expired" and I was never notified of their expiration until after they had expired so I didn't get the chance to redeem them.

I was asked months ago to do a study on ***. I was asked to log in to *** they sent to me and to keep track of everything I drank. FOR WEEKS. I did the study, sent the *** back as requested and today received a letter from them saying that I had been removed from the study, and they would not be paying me the $** the said they would. Their reason? I didnt drink enough! AT NO TIME was I told there was a minimum amount I had to drink, I logged what I DID drink. This is a rip off and I am hoping you'll be able to step in and see that they're wrong. I did call them and spoke with *** who told me to email them, as of yet I have heard nothing.
Case #: 125 Plaintiff: Ami Submitted: October 18, 2007 Last Updated: October 22, 2007
My name is *** and I was banned from Lightspeed panel because the panel claimed that I used two accounts. This is not true because the other similar account with the email address of *** is my husband whose name is ***. Lightspeed believed I used both the hotmail and yahoo account because of the similarities but the yahoo account is is in my name and the hotmail account is in my husbands name. I did not violate the terms and conditions and so me and my husbands account should not be banned and should be active again. My husband tried to email ***, the head of the panel to explain the confusion but she did not respond. By *** taking both me and my husbands account she took away nearly $250.00.
