Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Paid Surveys

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

This was the first ever survey site I signed up to and I always got a decent amount of surveys. The choice of rewards were good. For some time this was the only site I was signed up to, but I then signed up to many others. Unfortunately when I did, the surveys from MySurvey just completely dried up. I'm giving 3.5 out of 5 stars because of this.

I've been on mysurvey.com's panel for about a month now and I have to say with ALL the errors I've encountered on this site, it literally took me the entire month just to earn $10. I have several surveys on my account that have known errors and every time I click it, it says "Thank you for your patience but the following link you have tried to request is under maintenance or no longer available and will take 4 weeks to be removed from your panel list. We apologize for the inconvenience and again thank you for your patience."
In my opinion, 4 weeks is utter garbage and I have to keep second guessing myself to make sure I'm not clicking a broken link.

Just today I finished my last survey and had the chance to redeem my 1200 points (and just to let you know, the points required to redeem are increasing weekly) for $10 in to my PayPal account. Once I clicked the PayPal link it asked me for shipping details??????? Confused, I tried to call customer service (because reading the other reviews for this site, E-mailing was out of the question), I got an automated message that said "Please wait for an operator" - no "press 1 for...." or anything - then another message 2 seconds later that said "No operators available" then a hang up. So I decided to just put in the shipping information and submit. Reading the following screen it said if I'm redeeming points for PayPal it'll take 5-10 business days to process and transfer in to my PayPal account.

There's 2 things wrong with this:
1) 5-10 business days just to receive $10 for an ONLINE payment is uncalled for...
2) I NEVER PUT IN MY PAYPAL INFO!!!!

So am I receiving a check or something????

I don't know... something is obviously broken either with the site or the people maintaining the site, or both. I'm done...

I tried to log in today and I was greeted with the message "We apologize, but the account used is currently not active. Please contact us if you have questions." I emailed them straight away to ask what was going on and I received a reply from "Emma" who I'm assuming is not even a real person. I was told there was a problem with my account and it was deactivated, completely out of the blue. I was given a standard reply. I have not been fraudulent or deceptive in anyway so I asked if they could tell me what was actually wrong with my information. In response I just got the same message again, copied and pasted. I'm not impressed. I wasn't even given an explanation or an email notifying me. I only realized there was a problem when I couldn't sign in. Now I regret giving them my personal information in the first place. Don't make the same mistake I did!

As the joking title implies, I've been a member of MySurvey.com for .. well, I don't know how long .. a year or almost there .. ? The first few weeks, I was pretty happy and got my first payment cashout early .. but it took almost two weeks to show up in my Paypal. From there, it was slooooow and it still is. I keep my membership because they haven't ban me or pulled any crap but I only go there when I'm done with other sites and still bored enough to spend some time clicking through something to pass the time while doing other things / waiting on other things. In close to or a year's time, they've paid me a whole whopping $50. It's nice if you're bored, but it's slow and you won't see much turnover from them .. as I write this, though, there's been alot more surveys and I've earned alot more points faster than ever, so maybe it will change or maybe it's the shifting of the tide. Either way, no interaction with their customer service .. they award points when you qualify, and seem to favor long surveys for large chunks but it will take a long time to ever get to a payment from them. Best for the bored or the exceeding patient.

Do NOT join this company. It's a rip off and you'll be wasting your time. Before Mysurvey it was known as Lightspeed and those were the good days when you actually received your rewards and there was more of a personal service but now, I think it's a con. The customer service team are rude and don't address your issues correctly even though in the header of each email from EMMA!! they say `your issue has been resolved'. You're continually kicked out, you're continually not suitable for the survey even after you've spent 10 minutes answering their questions and the amount of technical issues is untrue. I was a loyal customer for 15 years and today I have finally deleted this complete garbage of a site. It's funny how just before I was due to claim my £3 rewards in Paypal vouchers, most of the surveys I've completed in the last few days have not been recognised and therefore not entered to receive my rewards.
