Payment and Rewards
Survey Types
Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.
Redeeming Your Points
1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).
Reward Types and Amounts
My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:
- exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
- exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
- exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
- exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Community Features
Referral Program
MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).
Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities
Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).
For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.
Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.
Note: The MySurvey and Lightspeed panels merged into one and are now simply known as "MySurvey."

I've been completing surveys for MySurvey for years - always with prompt payment when I earned enough. Then came the "sweeps" entries (I'm convinced no real people actually ever win) and now, I've been waiting on a $40 check payment for almost three months. I waited six weeks for it to arrive, then wrote to them. They requested I wait another four weeks for "research" to be conducted on the issue. I wrote back today, as it has now been four weeks, and I got a one sentence response of, "If you want this issue reopened, simply reply to this email." REOPENED?! So basically, they've been sitting on their butts not doing a darn thing over there. I absolutely do not recommend anyone use MySurvey. It's no longer a sure thing you'll get paid for those countless boring survey pages. What a joke.

I have been a member with My Survey for a few years and always got paid until this last survey. It was a 2 week survey that I finished successfully and was promised $50.00 upon completion. They said just send your "correct" mailing address and the cheque will be sent. Even though they already had my address on file and used it to send previous payments I promptly sent my mailing address again. This was in April and as of today I am still waiting. I sent over 25 emails that went unanswered before I finally got a response in September. I wrote to one of the exec's of the company and I "miraculously" rec'd a reply from customer service saying(the same customer service that I sent the other 24 emails to) that they checked their server and there were no emails from me and if I would just send them my correct mailing address this matter would be resolved. I sent them my address again even though it is on file under my profile and also sent several more customer service inquiries and have not hear another thing from them including the $50. Total rip off. Wasted 2 weeks of logging in and giving them info.

Another annoying company who are struggling in this hard financial climate like the rest of us. So they invite you to a survey, get you to fill out the majority of it, tell you don't qualify or they have enough respondents, then sell your results and pay you nothing.
A profitable way to run a business, but not a good company for us to earn a profit from.

I echo much of what the reviewer named Carl wrote below. On top of the issues mentioned by Carl, I have lost out on 1700 points because server issues at their end made it impossible for me to complete the food diaries I was asked to do. I was about 95% complete when it happened, on two occasions! I was promised a second chance to do one of the surveys -- it didn't happen. I was offered a few courtesy points (110 to make up for the 1700 I lost)-- it didn't happen. I'm building up another £5 for charity and then I'm out.

I have been with them for well over three years. There are times they will flood my inbox with surveys, and then I can go weeks with none.
Sometimes I will qualify for most of the the surveys, and other times I qualify for none.
You get no points for surveys that you do not qualify for, so you can waste an hour trying for naught. Entries into a sweepstakes that you will surely never win are NOT, in my opinion, an adequate compensation for my time.
Too often you will go to a survey and answer 20 or 30 questions, after basic demographic info, which as far as I am concerned IS a survey, only to be told that you did not qualify. This happens ALL TOO OFTEN. You end up doing what is basically a survey for NO rewards other than the bogus entry into a sweepstakes that everyone knows nobody ever wins! I would rather get 5 or 10 points which add up to actual rewards than stupid sweepstakes - it would be one thing if people could win the sweeps but the odds are stacked against you disproportionately - so you end up doing way TOO MANY surveys for free!
Their customer service is non-existent.
However, they do pay - it does take two weeks, and I cannot for the life of me figure out WHY it takes two weeks to make a payment to a Paypal account.
They are better than many that I have tried, and that is unfortunate.
