Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Modern, Interactive Surveys

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

I tried almost every single panel out there. This is by far one of the worst, if not the worst. The hardest thing is probably trying to log in. You spend 30 minute on a 10 minute survey just to tell you that there are already enough people participated in the study and need no more, and then you end up with nothing and your time wasted. If I can give a negative stars, then I probably will.

This site offers a lot of surveys to take. It only took me two days to earn 100 points. This site takes about a day to pay you.

My experience with Opinion Outpost has been nothing but positive!

I have been a member there since March 5 of this year and have racked up 404 points according to my survey history. So in about two weeks, I've managed to earn $40, though I'm sure if I devoted more time I could probably get around $50-60.

The thing I like most about the site is how fast they process payment through PayPal. I redeem 100 points for $10, and they send it to my account within a day (not even a business day, I've gotten money sent to me on a Sunday even).

They have plenty of surveys for me to fill out, though you do tend to run out after a session of about 7-10, but there's usually more waiting within a few hours or so.

Opinion Outpost keeps track of your profile and tailors surveys over time that you'll likely to qualify for. The more surveys I do at the site, the less times I am being rejected from them for not being in the desired survey population.

I joined Opinion Outpost with the anticipation of acquiring cash or gift cards, or whatever, just like other survey takers seem to be enjoying. So far, I have a whopping 12 points and have wasted a lot of precious time taking surveys, only to be told (usually toward the end), in so many words, "Thanks, but no thanks!" Obviously they don't want to be bothered with "Old" people. I am 62. I am a vital 62 year old graphic designer who has never not been a consumer. I drive, shop, eat, read, listen to music, wear clothes, maintain a household, go to movies, use a computer, have opinions, and live and breathe – just like people in their 20's and 30's! Of course, I have more experience with a lot of the products, but who cares, right? I'm not talking about SOME surveys rejecting me because they are looking for something specific, say, a gardener, or someone with MS, for example. I have been rejected from ALL but a few surveys, generally after they ask for or estimate my age. At least if the survey had an information line at the onset, specifying what they are looking for (or not looking for), then at least I wouldn't have to spend 20 or 30 minutes answering questions before finding out that I would be throwing my time away for nothing!

They offered surveys on a weekly basis and the payout threshold was reasonable, but they transferred their survey panel to another site while leaving their old site up and running.

I haven't received any new surveys since then.
