Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost used to be pretty good, and I would have told anyone exactly that. They have declined so badly in such a short period of time that I wish that I could give them what they really deserve, which is no more than zero stars. Actually, even that is too good. They deserve negative stars.

I do surveys because my wife used to be a market research client before I convinced her to retire from the business that she owns and spend more time with our travels and so forth in the time that we have left since we are developing health problems and have both come close to death. Helping out is our way of paying it forward to those business people who are still in the rat race, and we give our survey earnings to charities like Make A Wish and so on.

Since I don't need the pennies these surveys pay, I am not going to tolerate the kind of abuse Opinion Outpost has started dishing out.

Twice in a row now I did surveys all the way to the end pf a long survey and even been thanked by the company paying for the surveys only to be cheated. by Opinion Outpost. Last week I was accused of violating their security and robbed of 27 points. Funny how they didn't think that until they had wasted my time for much longer than the 35 minutes the survey was supposed to last. They have done nothing but repeatedly insist that I prove my innocence by providing information they already have.

I am back again in 2022 signed up with Opinion Outpost once again, they suspended my account I guess because I was cashing out my points each time I accumulated them due to I know how they are past history with them. They made me wait on a post card in the mail with a verification code once I got the postcard and entered the code they turn around and suspend my account again. I contact them and got a response today stating that I had multiple violations on my account. What violations???? I am so tired of the BS with them because I am a panel member on numerous sites. I have been a panel member on other sites since 2007 and it's 2022 I am still doing surveys with all of the other sites as of today. Opinion Outpost is the only site that has ever given me problems. The problem is not the panel members it's them!!!!!!

I was doing great with Opinion Outpost at first, then the account freezing started to occur. I travel a lot due to the nature of my husbands business so I was doing a lot of surveys on the road. They started freezing my account due to me traveling and doing the surveys on the road. I had to constantly explain to them in order for my account to get reviewed and unfrozen that, I am not at home as much to sit and do the surveys to show the ping that I am actually in the city location of my address on file. That's why they were picking up different locations outside my home address.

We eventually got that straight, then they started freezing my account again and even their satellite account I have where you can only do surveys via your smartphone they even froze that account. I have sent customer service two emails wanting to know why my account has been frozen again for like the 100th time and now they have just stopped answering my emails. I guess since I racked up $400.00 from the time I joined in November 2016 to my last cash out a week ago they decided that was enough for me.

I am just pissed because their satellite account that you take surveys from your phone I have $58.00 sitting there to redeem for an Amazon gift card and I can't even redeem that. I am so tired of them and this excuse about you were suspected of violating our terms that's why your account was frozen or it was frozen due to data concerns. No they freeze your account once they get all they can out of you.

This firm has interesting and insightful surveys, that often relate to 'real-life' events - local/national restaurants, grocery items we actually purchase, even OTC medications. They have a post-survey chance to 'rate' the survey as well.
It is possible to have a great time helping out companies by doing surveys mfg co's can use, AND earn points. I prefer the Amazon cashout, @ only 50 points.
I really really LIKE 'Opinion Outpost', and go there 2-3 times weekly.
They had one survey that paid $20+ and it was a lot of fun.

My account was banned from the site and they asked me to receive a postcard so that I could reactivate it and when I got it and entered it, they did not reactivate the account...

A number of times I've gotten to the end of a survey, answered all the questions truthfully only to be told the survey is full.
