Types of Surveys Offered
GlobalTestMarket offers online surveys that help companies develop new products and services. For every successful survey completion, members are awarded points. Survey lengths vary, but are typically between 10 - 20 minutes. 1 point = approximately $0.05.
Global Test Market offers many different reward options:
Global Test Market is an online survey panel operated by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), now owned by Lightspeed Research. Global Test Market has approximately 5.5 million members across 200 different countries.
I have been a member of Global Test Market since November and after a few months I finally had enough points to redeem 100$ sent to my paypal (took 2 weeks). Here's my review from my efforts thus far:
+ Many survey opportunities a week
+ Qualified 63% of the time
+ Often Short or Medium length surveys value ranging between 15-60pts
- Need minimum 1000points value in your cart to redeem
- Takes a while to collect points
- Occasional buggy surveys
Although some reviews state having difficulty getting incentives paid, I have thus far had no issue with GTM
I have no beef with any panel group providing the company is intrinsically HONEST. And this is why I have issues with Global Test Market because twice in a row I have had surveys that allowed me to finish the survey right until the end, then, as soon as I followed the instruction to press "send" to complete, I would get a message "sorry our records show you have done this before". Two surveys that have certainly not been done before. I am unsure whether these problem surveys are their own in-house surveys or whether it is a 'partners'. In any event, the fact it is hosted by Global should make them responsible for the treatment of those who willing give of their time in good faith. When this was raised as an issue, the first e-mail response was an automated one. The second time I was told that their records show I have done the survey before, which is nonsense. I have no problems with being screened out, but not after completion! There is something seriously wrong here, and I will get out as soon as I can withdraw my cash which could be a problem at this rate..
They were so-so with several qualifying surveys per week but now there are lots of surveys, mainly none of which I qualify for.
The pages keep going round and round and round....ad infinitum.
The last time I had enough points it took me three weeks to have them, AFTER it took me 2o minutes on how to request them.
All-in-all, a great BIG WASTE OF TIME.
KEEP WELL AWAY IS MY ADVICE!
Only been with this site for just over a month and have already redeemed $50 via PayPal. Am now waiting for it to be credited to my PayPal account.
Just redeemed points or another $50 the surveys kept coming they have nos slowed t o a crawl, maybe because I made so much out of them in the first few months. I have left it at 4 1/2 stars because of this.
I have yet to receive the PayPal payment though apparently it takes around 5-7 days. I still feel its a good site though.
Upon first signing up I was receiving a survey or two almost every day although I did not qualify for all. Now that I only need just over 200 points to receive my reward (you need 1000 min to cash in) they are not longer sending me any surveys. Its been several weeks now. Strange? I think Not. I have been reading how many of you have been treated. Shameful! This is how they get away from not paying their panelist that take time to answer surveys therefore Global Test Market can make BIG money and NOT us. This is also why many of you have had your accounts suspended for no reason.
In the future with any survey sites make a note of the companies (for eg: LCBO, Toyota) that are paying Global or any other survey site u are with. Many times they indirectly give you that info in the survey itself. Its not hard to figure out if you pay attention to the questions. These companies are paying Global Test Market to conduct their surveys in a professional, honest manner. They trust survey companies to treat its panelists fairly. I know this for a fact as I worked for a product testing/survey company for many years before I had to quit due to illness. Our clients expected us to conduct ourselves properly as to not reflect poorly on their good name. Last thing we wanted was to lose a paying company. Reputable companies do not like to associate with dishonest companies. With this info you can notify the individual companies as to how this survey site treats its members and suggest their company not be a party to their game as it will be made public by you and others. Many companies will drop unscrupulous Survey sites to protect themselves.
