it just no longer offers any gift cards which I consider useful
Lots of invitations and they ALL turn out be NOTHING. Complete waste of my time and effort.

They used to be good and were very generous when you didn't qualify for a survey, but the compensation has gone way down. Even worse is that they don't award 10 cents for every survey you are disqualified from. For example, if you take multiple surveys in a row, you will only be compensated for one so just do one survey at a time. Due to these changes, it now takes forever to earn the $5 needed for cashing out. When you do qualify for a survey, the compensation isn't worth it for the amount of time required. I wanted to delete my account but they won't even let me. I don't understand why they can't do that.

With deep regrets, I just unsubscribed from YourWord.

Early this year - when I first signed up - it was a wonderful panel, with a generous compensatory amount when a panelist was disqualified from a survey (which for me happened at least twenty times more often than actually qualifying).

But then the compensation shrank from .25 per survey to .10 per survey; but worse, the reward choices were also truncated. My preference, Amazon, is no longer an option: instead, members are asked to choose from highly specialized businesses like (for instance) Chili's or Golfsmith. Don't expect gift cards from Target, Walmart, Home Depot, or - as mentioned earlier - Amazon.

YourWord is still a reputable company with good business practices; it just no longer offers any gift cards which I consider useful.

If the surveys came more often than they do, I'd have rated this panel 5 stars. At least they give you $0.10 for each attempt even if you don't qualify. I just reached the $5.00 payout and when I ordered the $5 Amazon Electronic Gift Code, they sent the email with the code IMMEDIATELY after I ordered it.
