Payment and Rewards

Earn e-Rewards

Earn Opinion Points/e-Rewards currency for taking surveys. Exchange your points for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, hotel reward points, and airline points. Choose from over 30 different retailers to redeem gift cards with, including Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Macy's and more. You may redeem a gift card only once per quarter with most gift card options.

Prizes

e-Rewards can also be redeemed towards prizes. Many prizes come in the form of discounts towards purchasing products and services they provide.

Redeem Your e-Rewards Currency

In most cases, your account will be credited as soon as you complete a survey. However, in some cases the credit may take up to 7 days to appear on your account. Similarly, e-Rewards sends most electronic gift cards immediately upon request (within one hour). Most physical gift cards will be sent out within 4-6 weeks of redemption.

e-Rewards also requires mobile and landline verification in order to redeem your rewards. This verification helps you keep your rewards secure. For data security, they will need to verify your account with a valid US mobile or landline number in order to redeem your reward. Once you provide your number, you will receive a verification code via that number that you will need to enter in order to finalize the redemption process.

You can redeem your e-Rewards Currency/Opinion Points as soon as you accumulate enough to qualify for the reward you desire (the lowest gift card option is $10).

Don't do it

July 24, 2019 by T Nicola from United States

Despite the less than stellar reviews here, I decided to give e rewards a try after I received an email invitation. I joined back in January, and had no issues until last week. I tried to sign in, and my account was marked as inactive which was strange because I check in at least once a day. I emailed the company, and a auto response happened the same day. A real response took 3 to 4 days. They said that my account was suspended indefinitely. They didn't give a specific reason besides attentiveness and accuracy. My profile and response has been pretty accurate. I read the surveys and sometimes they take longer than their estimated time. If I don't like a survey, I just click that x. Fortunately I usually made sure to cash in on rewards when I reach the threshold. W magazine, a couple of Sally Beauty gift cards, Itunes gift card, and Burlington e gift cards all 4 or 5 of them.

After months, they suspended my account without warning, no real explanation of why that happened besides the generic response. I never tried to misrepresent myself. They probably knew more about me than the government.

Don't join or if you do there's an possibility of them banning you based on whatever system they are using, and there's nothing that you can do about it. The minutes adds up.

"There are never surveys corresponding"

June 5, 2019 by Edmond Marc from Canada

90% of the time, after spending time in the same repetitive questions about age, gender, etc, the message "Unfortunately, your responses do not meet the criteria required to fully qualify and complete this study" comes out. WASTE OF TIME.

security issue

June 3, 2019 by kim from United States

MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED NUMEROUS TIMES DUE TO THEIR LACK OF SECURITY, SOME KEEPS TAKING $70 WORTH OF MONIES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TO BUY $25 MACYS GC, I HAVE TOLD THEM PRIOR THAT I ONLY USE $25 STARBUCKS YET THEY ALLOW THIS TO KEEP HAPPENING TO MY ACCOUNT. THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR CLIENTS SAFETY AND SECURITY. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Rubbish Site like Valued Opinions, little surprise

May 4, 2019 by Doug from United Kingdom

Become the pits, like their partner site Valued Opinions. Surveys offered either you don't match (so why are we pestered to keep profile up to date?), or bomb you out part way through.
Keep clear, save unnecessary stress!

Unethical company

February 18, 2019 by Vlad from United States

Three months ago, E-rewards deactivated my account as well as the accounts of my parents for accessing them while all three of us were on vacation in Russia. Explanation E-rewards provided to all three of us was identical: "the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account." The answer was obviously false because deactivation happened within hours of accessing our accounts from Russia and checking the balances without doing any surveys. E-rewards eventually restored our accounts upon review, albeit without giving any apology.
A week ago, E-rewards deactivated my account again. This happened after I submitted a ticket to their techsupport asking to review one of the surveys that crashed in the end and, therefore, failed to give me credit. When one submits a ticket like that, he reasonably expects one of two outcomes: credit for survey is either granted or denied. E-rewards support invented third way: their agent Rita replied to the ticket saying that she deactivated my account. The reason has been worded identically to one we received for accessing our accounts from Russia: "the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged, and upon review of your account, we have been forced to suspend your account". This was an obvious "copy and paste" answer from their operations manual that had nothing to do with actual situation. I sent a few emails trying to correct the issue, but they went unanswered. So, my account is inaccessible and E-rewards pocketed my points worth over 5000 airline miles
I dealt with bad tech support many times in my life, but E-rewards support is undoubtedly the champion here. To put it mildly, it is bizarre and irrational. Is it a crime to access my account while on vacation in Europe? Is it a crime to submit tech support request for the credit due? Apparently, their support thinks it is.
I submitted BBB case against them. They kept insisting that I have a duplicate account. They were completely deaf to any argument I submitted. The fail to show any proof that I violated their rules but kept defending themselves; apparently they were afraid of losing the face in public so they kept denying all accusations but simple referring to non-existent "duplicate account"
For E-rewards, terms like "ethics" and "proper business conduct" are totally foreign. Therefore, E-reward panelists should be aware, that E-Rewards may close their account at any point, take their points and provide bogus explanation as to why it happened.
