Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

Not a site if your looking for fast pay outs or a lot of them.
I've been doing surveys for them since around 2005 or so and average 2 $50 checks a year.
It takes a while to reach the 1000 point mark to cash out and the check generally will take 6 weeks to arrive.
There tends to be a lot of wasted time surveys where you spend 5-10 minutes just to find you don't qualify or the 30-40 surveys which give you 3 sweepstakes entries. I haven't won one of those yet.
I had a problem last year where they stopped sending invites by email and when I tried to log in I couldn't.
After a threatening email or two they decided to work with me and restored my account with the 500+ points that was earned.
Lesson I took from that was if you feel your being ripped off in anyway than don't play nice,let them know that your ready and willing to contact lawyers,state AG's and federal agencies if needed.
Worked for me.

I have been a member of this site for over a couple of years now. The survey quality and speed of earning rewards are average. The amount of time to be paid, slightly below average.
However, in the last 6 months or so, I noticed a drastic change in customer service. They are non-responsive and abusive. They do not respond to survey complaints or questions adequately. If I follow up with any sort of clarification, I actually receive abusive responses. Their customer service in inaccurate and extremely irritating. I have filed complaints with the BBB (already an F-rating) and now have contacted their home office with copies of my abusive emails. I doubt I will receive an adequate solution . . so . . . .

There are so many sites that actually respect their members, that deeply deplore everyone not to join this site.

After amassing 3000 points,I made my first claim. Months later still no check. In February 2012 I complain and asked to verify my address, then told a new check will have to be drawn.
Still nothing. June 18 I complain again and told that check was cashed in December 2011.
I have asked who cashed the check - cause it never got to me.
I am in Australia - and we are not third world
Sounds dodgy to me - who sends checks in this day and age.

2 times I was taken off survey list for a reason they stated as speeding . ask what that was got no reply. I gave up on them was with them a couple years and went sour on me.

Global Test Market is the very 1st survey site ever joined and the first cash out for 1000 points= $50.00 and it took awhile to receive the check 4-6 weeks, at first I though "What did I do!" then as they promised I received the check. I receive about 1 check per month. When I called the company as I was naturally curious as to why it took so long for them to send a check I was told they are based out of Canada and the checks have to pass through customs. Wierd. Anyway it's worth the time and effort.
