Electronic Rewards

Harris Poll offers their members the opportunity to earn points, known as HIpoints in exchange for their participation. Once you earn 1250 points (worth $10), you can request an e-gift voucher from places like Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, Walmart, ESPN, and more. You may also be entered into sweepstakes after each completed survey for even more chances of winning big.

Get Disqualified, But Still Have a Chance to Win!

If you attempt to complete a survey, but are disqualified in the process, you will receive an entry into the Harris Panel Sweepstakes. You will be also be offered the opportunity to try qualifying for other available surveys.

Survey Lengths

Online surveys typically take anywhere between 5-25 minutes to complete. Short surveys will take around 5 minutes, and very long ones are around 25 minutes. These reasonable survey lengths will keep your attention and prevent you from getting bored too quickly! There are special surveys on offer as well including special focus groups, telephone based surveys, and even surveys about independently downloaded software. Common survey topics, however, range from fashion to movies to shopping habits.

Participate Often

Expect to receive between 3-5 online surveys a month.

Earn Points

Even if you are disqualified from completing a survey, expect to receive around 15 HIpoints! The amount of points you get per survey varies depending on the length or complexity of the survey.

Harris Poll now has an app, available on iOS and Android. The mobile apps will require you to login with your Harris credentials. Using the app allows you to see survey opportunities, take surveys, participate in special research programs and access your rewards. Turn on your notification settings for the app to receive new survey opportunities in real time.

Cashing Out

After you have reached 1250 points, you are able to redeem your HIpoints for e-cards and gift vouchers. Most people who participate, reach this threshold after completing around 10 surveys. Rewards include e-cards or gift vouchers from Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and more.

Rewards Processing Times

Redeem your rewards and receive them within 15 business days. They will be sent to your e-mail account. Most rewards will be credited to your account within 10 minutes of your participation, but occasionally it may take as long as 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If you are redeeming your HIpoints, you will receive your e-code within 24-48 hours of cashing in your HIpoints. If you have cashed in for physical merchandise, you will receive your merchandise via USPS within 7-14 business days. All costs of rewards (including shipping and handling) are covered by Harris Poll, unless you are redeeming products using an e-certificate.

I've been with Harris for a long time (approximately three years.) While payout is good and surveys are plentiful, the incentives themselves are not. As another reviewer mentioned, they change their Folio selection frequently; banking your points for higher-value items is unwise unless you’re close to the required value.

You can’t redeem for cash, and while I did get a polite reply after suggesting a few items for their Folios, none of them were actually implemented (and some, like gift cards worth more than $5, the only denomination that they offer) were no-brainers. Shipping of rewards is also slow--it has taken anywhere from 2-4 weeks to receive my incentives.

Overall, I recommend it with some reservations--register and take a look at their 800-point Folio. If you see gift cards that you like, it's a fairly good site. You might consider flipping through the higher levels, as well...but to this day, I haven't seen anything interesting in them.

This used to be one of the most prestigious and interesting survey experiences. In the beginning (years ago) the surveys were about substantial issues, sometimes political. Lately they're all about marketing but the main problem is that I have wasted so much time answering questions for a survey I've been told I qualify for only to be kicked off the survey after putting in my valuable time because I no longer qualify. This has happened in 8out of the last 10 surveys I've done for them. I'm going to stop taking their surveys and getting their mailings as soon as I cash in all my remaining rewards because it's no longer a positive experience. They should at least give you partial credit for the answers you submit when you begin a survey in good faith like that.

The thing that annoys me about Harris Poll is they keep no profiles, so when they send you an e-mail link, you can spend several minutes answering repetitive preliminary questions before it even finds a survey. Often the logic in these makes no sense, why ask the age of my children if I've said I don't have any, or give me several pages of diseases when I claim I have none? Beyond that, the surveys are okay, and the rewards fair, if rather slow on receiving. You also seem to be able to just take a couple of surveys a day. If they could just fix it up so you go straight to the survey, would rate higher.

Heads up this panel may send surveys that are not designed right to opt you out before getting to the end. I have twice been burned to complete a survey only to receive a message that I didn't qualify. If you don't keep the original survey invitation forget about getting compensated as Panel support will not accept the date, time, and topic of a survey. They ask for survey invitation number which I guess is in small print on the bottom. I saw one invitation with no identifying information.

one of the best paid survey pages to work with and make dollars. I recommend 100%
