Takes too long

October 6, 2021 by Mary from United States

I've been on this site for many many years..just drop by to do a few things every so often. Read mail, watch tv, try a few surveys and do searches. I'd say about every three days. They have added a little scratch off thing recently.. if you do enough of their things, you can scratch once. I never get more than 4-8 cents! While I don't mind the site, seeing as ive had it over a decade... there isnt enough to do there, and earning their THIRTY DOLLAR cash out takes forever!! I seriously get one cash out a year. They should really lower the cash out, like other sites. I get around 15 and feel stuck, like I need to stay there and finally cashout..i guess thats what they want. Just dont have enough to do to earn more. Decent layout and easy to use.

UPDATE10/21.. site is really lacking. Glad they dropped payout to 10 and added more options but the site is lacking stuff to do all the way around. Takes long to get to 10 bucks compared to
Other sites that are better. The activists don’t credit for my daily checklist, at least for me and how can it be daily checklist if there isn’t enough to do??? It’s become a letdown.. really need to add more ways to make money. I’m ready to call it quits after not being credited for a few high paying things, a game and a survey when I did them both right. I couldn’t recommend this site. Does anyone even make anything besides a few cents in the scratch offs?? They should give people a chance to win some money and post the winners on fb and on the site. Seems it’s just really greedy. Sad because I’ve been a member so long.

I used to like this site.

I wanted to write a review for Inbox Dollars because at first it may seem like it's hard to ever make it to the 30 threshold but eventually you do; granted they don't offer a lot of high paying surveys but here's what I do like about them: so far every time I have an issue with a survey they always credit me, their customer service always answers without sending several emails that say the same thing over and over, they have other ways to make extra cash that are fun, innovative, and informative this is the site I seem to fall back on when I want to relax, take some surveys, play games, answer trivia, and search the web. What I'm saying is there isn't very many GPT sites that have Inbox Dollars dynamic.

UPDATE: I've changed my review to 2.5 stars this site has too many surveys that you don't get paid for and when you don't, it's a hassle to get your money that really shouldn't be that hard to credit. I'm also tired of Inbox taking 3 dollars out of your 30 dollar threshold every time you cash out considering it takes forever to get to 30 dollars. If you're not that serious about making extra money this is the site for you.

2ND UPDATE: I have changed my rating to 1.5 stars in fact I've given up on GPT sites all together. I get cheated out of my rewards way too often. I've gotten tired of continually trying to qualify for surveys, almost make it to the end of the survey only to be disqualified, or you do finish it and there are no points only to go through the hassle of trying to get the points...arrgh.

dropped for no reason

I was a panelist for many years and after a short period in the hospital I tried to log in and they said I was no longer a member due to the terms of agreement were broken. News to me.

Could Be Better

May 9, 2018 by Paul from United States

UPDATE: They changed the format of the site to add a ridiculous scratch and win thing and now rely on it and a spinning wheel to do most awards. The surveys have gotten less rewarding and we are less able to qualify. BOTTOM LINE IS that progress toward rewards moves at a truly glacial pace. It takes forever to earn a nickel or a dime. Cashing out at the $30 threshold will have to be done by grandchildren as I will be long since dead.
Site is attractive and engaging. Rewards are on the slim side, but they do always pay. Main issue is with support -- no email or phone, only chat, and chat is a waste of time. This survey apparently piggybacks a lot on Ipsos, Toluna, Global, Peanut Labs, and Tap Research. Tap Research is iffy and spotty because their questions often have no answers to select from, like the surveys were designed by second graders. Peanut Labs is a little better but not much -- it and Tap are both hard to qualify for and get anything very rewarding. Overall, they need to rethink this site and get some decent support and surveys that actually work.

Still Waiting to be Paid

August 26, 2017 by Camiyah from United States

I have been with inboxdollars for a few years now and I can honestly say that no, inboxdollars is not a scam; however, inboxdollars takes forever to pay you! I successfully completed an offer paying me $25 but, it's been almost a month now and I still have yet to receive my payment! Today, I had a chat with "Fred", an inboxdollars employee who I asked when would I be paid. The following is what "Fred" replied to me:
"We have some very helpful information in our terms of membership that explains about crediting.

While some Offers are reported to us by the advertiser quickly, some of the offers can take 14 to 30 days.

The offer you are inquiring about will take 30-45 days to credit to your account if approved by the offer provider.

We can review inquiries for crediting after 30 days however not all offers are eligible for crediting until the 30 day mark and donation offers will take 45 days.

For this reason, I do request that you allow at least 30+ days for crediting to occur thru advertiser reporting but do reach back to us before 60 days has passed.

We appreciate your patience!"

Yes, you got it, the same thing they always exclaim! The problem with this is that after successfully completing an offer, you're the offer emails you a receipt and or confirmation that you have successfully completed an offer. Below, you can view an old receipt of mine:

I had received this receipt a week after I completed the offer so why hasn't inboxdollars received a receipt of my offer completion or has inboxdollars received a receipt of my offer completion?
