Survey Types

iPoll offers its members the opportunity to take surveys via their website and also via their mobile apps. Terminated just like the hundreds of previous reviews

I have read many complaints of Ipoll randomly terminating accounts due to violating their blah blah blah well today it happened to me. Like other complaints TD, I have been with them for a long time when they were Surveyhead and it's a shame they treat their members this way. I have money in my account which surprisingly they haven't responded to my inquiry on how I can obtain my funds. Tip : they never respond to inquiries I wonder how they operate. Actually now I know: they rip off their members by randomly closing their account due to a "violation" conveniently for them when the member has funds in their account and hasn't cashed out yet. I wonder how many violation THEY have with the Better Business Bureau? Ironically no one has mentioned to report them but I am going there now! And I will be choosing better companies besides Apoll I mean Ipoll.

leave this one alone

I figured I'd try it out, with 5 dollars free just to try it. Well, I tried it. I spent a week opening seriously *hundreds* of surveys for them to get to the minimum payout of 50$. There are always dozens of surveys in your inbox, of which you will qualify for basically none of them (how many times do I have to tell them I don't have any kids?), or at least that was my experience. The ones you do qualify for are all ludicrously boring and repetitive, and unlike most survey sites, there seemed to be zero correlation between how much time a survey takes and how much it will pay.

So, I finally got to 50 bucks a few weeks ago, and that's when I discovered, it also takes them an unknown, but apparently quite large, amount of time to actually process results of surveys. About a month in, of the $45 in survey money (since they gave me $5 to sign up, and actually it's $46.87, since I couldn't get it to $50 exactly), $23.17 of that is still "pending", so until it gets to $50, I'm just waiting.

Generally I don't mind sites that do that, if I'm going to keep using them, but I mind when it takes this long to process any of it, *and* the only payout is at a whopping $50, *and* their surveys are boring and don't pay much and I don't qualify for most of them, *and* their site is super clunky.

Strongly not recommending this one.

update: 2 1/2 months after joining, so about two months after getting to 50 dollars "pending", I finally had enough to cash out. I've put in that request, now let's see how long it takes them to redeem it...

final update: verdict, just slightly under one extra month. So about 3 1/2 months between "earning" 50 dollars (which was a slog) and actually receiving it. They did pay, though, so at least there's that.

After 9 years my password stopped working. I was told on my computer I violated some provision but despite phoning them (no one answers) and emailing them they will not answer me or give me my money I earned. Total ripoff!

I have been a member of Ipoll for more than 10 years. They keep sending me invites. I clicked on 1 this morning to get a message stating I violated their terms. I tried calling but the customer service is not there on weekends. I want to get to the bottom of this! HORRIBLE

After many years of being a member, I was terminated today for "violating terms of service" yet they sent my nearly ten invites in email. whatever. there are many other, BETTER sites out there!
