iPoll, originally known as Survey Head, was founded in 2008 and since 2016, has been owned and operated by Dynata.

Get Paid for Fun Adventures!

Turn the things you do everyday into an adventure! iPoll is all about convenience and fun, and wants to know your thoughts on the things you do everyday, with interactive mini missions that provide rewards. You'll get a $5 bonus just for signing up, and surveys range from $0.50 to $3. If you don’t mind leaving your home, you may also complete “missions” using the phone app at specific retail locations. New Item Scavenger Hunts potentially allow you to earn from $0.50 to $100 a day.

Survey Types

iPoll offers its members the opportunity to take surveys via their website and also via their mobile apps. Their mobile apps are available on both the App Store (for iPhones) and on Google Play (for Android phones). Users who download the mobile app can expect to be contacted more frequently to participate in surveys.

Complete Surveys to Earn Points

Complete survey to earn points and get rewarded. Surveys themselves typically take between 10-15 minutes and iPoll tries to keep surveys as short as possible so they aren’t monopolizing your time.

Added App Features

Another benefit of downloading the app is getting specific assignments based on your geographic location, accepting them and earning cash right on the spot! You may be challenged to take a picture of a product, or asked to visit a specific store. The app also includes video, photo and audio capabilities for fun, interactive reporting.

Rewards

iPoll offers various rewards including cash paid via PayPal (to verified PayPal accounts only), Amazon.com e-vouchers, and Apple gift codes. Once redeemed, rewards usually take about 4 weeks to be delivered. If you are redeeming via PayPal, remember to use the same email to sign up for iPoll that you use for your PayPal account. iPoll tries to get your rewards to you quickly, but on occasion it may take up to 4 weeks to redeem your rewards.

A $25 account balance is required to redeem an Amazon.com e-voucher, or an Apple gift code. PayPal cash payments can be requested when you've completed $50 worth of surveys or assignments.

Quarterly Sweepstakes!

iPoll rewards its members with quarterly sweepstakes draws of up to $10,000 USD. To be entered into the sweepstakes, you simply need to participate in a panel or survey, attend a webinar or redeem points.

Member since the start, member no longer

December 23, 2016 by Pete from United States

As of January 2017, the cash out threshold will be raised to $50 and a new rule will go into effect stipulating that earned credits will expire after one year. This change is the final straw for me. I don't take surveys to get rich, but I'd prefer to feel respected as a survey-taker.

I've been a member of iPoll since they first started. Initially, you would log in and be presented with a list of surveys available to you, the estimated completion time, and the reward amount in dollars. The rewards weren't great, but they were acceptable if you were taking surveys mostly for fun and weren't trying to make money. I eventually stopped taking lower value surveys because they seemed to go on longer than advertised, sometimes the rewards wouldn't post for months or at all, and sometimes I would spend 20 minutes on a survey before being disqualified without compensation. Customer service was rarely able to address my problems and would simply restate policy.

Now, there is only a "take a survey" button which leads to a series of qualifying questions, which then may or may not lead to a survey. Rewards are poor, and often less than $1 per survey and I'd estimate a rate of about $3/hour when you figure in the time spent taking lengthy qualifiers that lead nowhere. If you value your time, I'd suggest looking for a better deal elsewhere.

unbelievable

Disappointed

iPoll use to be one of the worst sites to earn rewards because of the quality of their surveys and the quality of their rewards. On top of that, the turn around time for receiving the rewards was the worst out of all of the websites I have used over the years. However, when they were bought out by SSI, their reward structure improved dramatically and the turn around went from 4 to 6 weeks to about 1 day turn around time.

With all of that said, with the changes, their site became increasingly strict about their Terms and Conditions. I recently tried to make a cash out at $26 but my account was immediately terminated due to my paypal account that was used. This is the 2nd time this has happened since the change was made earlier in the year. I have repeatedly tried to contact iPoll support but have received no help regarding their issue. The last time this happened, it took them over two weeks to even respond to my initial request and took even longer to reactivate my account. The funny thing is is that my paypal account matches both my name and address used in iPoll so why they continue to do this, I don't know.

I have contacted both the BBB and their support desk about this but still no response. They really need to consider to overhauling their help desk quality because it is below par and they really need to reevaluate their redemption processes because people shouldn't have to be penalized for using a new paypal account that is associated with their iPoll account. It is very ridiculous to deal with this. I don't experience this trouble with their related sites like Opinion Outpost so they have a long way to go before I can ever give them a good rating.

Used to like it

May 21, 2016 by Mai from Indonesia

I'm from Indonesia. Had joined iPoll since 2014.
Was quite enjoying iPoll until it was suddenly closed to many countries, reserved only for Canada and US bla bla on April 2016
Didn't even give notice before it.

And now all the time I put into the surveys had gone to drain. Didn't even give the chance to draw all the remaining balance. Maybe it's not much, but with that money I can still buy some things. What a jerk move.

Before it's wasting time if u didn't get qualified. But now this is so dissapointing. I can't tell how much I get dissapointed. I even sign up on this site just to write this review.

Total scam for countries outside the mentioned countries. It wasn't used to be like that. Don't bother if you are outside the mentioned countries

Worse

Just removed my account without any notice, my money all gone and wasted a lot of time cause it was most hard to get a survey and hard to complete a survey.
