REDEEMING REWARDS

You can redeem your LifePoints at any time from the LifePoints Rewards Catalog (“LifePoints Catalog”), when your account contains at least 550 LifePoints ($5).

Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket in most countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. The LifePoints app has been discontinued.

What is LifePoints? LifePoints is an online survey site and community of like-minded people who want to share their views and opinions to earn rewards and influence future decisions made by the big brands we know and see every day.

It’s also the place to go for those who want to collect rewards for living their lives. Every time you go shopping, to the movies, or simply enjoy a new local service, you can collect LifePoints by sharing your views and opinions about these products, services and experiences.

Payment and Rewards

Join to Get Free Points

New members of LifePoints Panel will enjoy 10 free points automatically credited to their accounts.

Great Rewards Options

In order to request a reward, you must have a minimum of 550 LifePoints ($5) in your account. Once you've reached this balance, you can spend your LifePoints on two main reward options: gift cards and PayPal payments (note that rewards may vary across countries).

The gift e-cards offered are available to major retailers such as eBay, Amazon, Starbucks, and more. Feeling generous? No problem. You may also donate your LifePoints to charities such as Unicef.

Survey Taking Experience

As a LifePoints member, you can contribute your views and opinions by completing online surveys covering various aspects of your daily life. Other activities such as mini-polls, product testing and other types of data collection are also opportunities to collect LifePoints and spend them on exceptional rewards.

Survey invitations are sent out by email and can be taken any time during the survey period. Members don’t need any special skills to complete the activities within LifePoints. If you can contribute your thoughts and fill out the online survey, then you’re ready to go!

Survey Lengths and Point Amounts

Survey lengths vary, however most surveys will take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Compensation awarded for surveys varies, and depends upon the length of the survey, as well as the client's urgency for survey takers to complete it. The more urgent the assignment, the better rewards it will offer.

Points for Disqualifications

If you start a survey but don’t get to finish it, LifePoints rewards you with a small number of points as recognition for your efforts. Points amounts may be 2 or 3 points at a time, but does help reach cashout levels sooner. You may earn up to 10 extra LifePoints a day this way, which means you get to spend your LifePoints sooner!

Backed By a Reliable Research Company

LifePoints is run by Lightspeed, ranked as the world’s largest provider of custom research and analysis, operating across 70 countries. The company conducted its very first research study in…1946! So, it’s safe to say that LifePoints is a strong brand backed by a well-established and reliable research company.

Pluses

In January 2019, Lightspeed merged their flagship panels - MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket into LifePoints to provide a better global user experience. Today, LifePoints is a community of over 5,000,000 members from all over the world, with over 1.5 million Facebook fans.

LifePoints social media community enjoys the possibility of participating in competitions, special prizes, and giveaways on top of their survey-related activities. Global Eligibility

LifePoints is open to those 14 years of age and older who are from one of dozens of countries worldwide. LifePoints is available in at least 26 languages.

Is LifePoints Panel Legit?

Although LifePoints itself is a relatively new survey program, it was formed by merging the MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket survey panels which were operational for over a decade. LifePoints currently has over 5 million members worldwide and is a legitimate survey site. LifePoints is not a scam, although as with any online survey site, your experience and success may vary, LifePoints is legit.

Account cancelled.

June 5, 2019 by Lisa from Australia

**update**
They responded with a much more helpful response when I threatened to contact their CEO.

Well they got me too! I tried to log in only to get an error message "your membership has been cancelled".

So I emailed them and got a reply the next day saying "its all good, its all ok, we've resolved your problem! It was you who cancelled your account silly! So nothing to be done. No more account".

I had over $30 worth of points in there. So far no response to my quite frustrated and angry "why, for the love of pete, would I cancel my own account without cashing out first? And then attempt to sign in the next day?"

Their CEO is Caroline Frankum for those who are interested. Perhaps if enough of us bomb her social media accounts (linkedin and twitter that I've found so far) with irate messages demanding our hard earned money, something might be done about it?

Faulty Advertising

June 2, 2019 by Amanda from Canada

Two half decent survey sites merged to make one terrible site. Ever since Lifepoints came into existence, they have posted one value for a survey but upon completion you only receive half the amount, ie you click on a survey that says 90 points, you complete it and it gives your 45 points. Or you finish a survey and it tells you you've screened out and you only get 2 points. And so many of their surveys are super long so half way through taking one, the lifepoints session times out and you're left with nothing.

But that's not why I'm on here leaving my beef. I have routinely done month long purchasing diaries on many survey sites before so I know they are always the same platform and I know what's expected of me so I know when I've completed it. I did one for lifepoints, email invitation said it was worth 1270 points to track my purchases for a whole month, that's not a lot of points for a month's worth of effort but I did it anyways. Completed the month, no points. Put an IT ticket in, it's been over a month and still no closure with them. Do not waste your time.

low paying surveys but always pay

June 1, 2019 by currie from Canada

I've been with them for years , never have any issues for payment .... but the value of their points do get lower every time when they have any change . And for customer service , I do find they respond timely.

No improvement

June 1, 2019 by Dick from United States

This site took over Global and MY Survey a few months ago; I've complained numerous times about the length of 'qualifying questions required before being disqualified, terminations without credit at the end of the surveys, and particularly about the numerous invitations that always direct to the same page of surveys, without regard to whether or not they've already been completed. Apparently, they expect users to keep track of which surveys were accessed, which is the same response I had gotten from Global. Given the low ratio of qualifications, slow accumulation of points and the wasted time in repeatedly accessing the same surveys, I'll be unsubscribing. I fail to understand why the invitation e-mail does not direct to a specific survey, as is the case with multiple other sites in which I participate.
