Great Rewards Options

In order to request a reward, you must have a minimum of 550 LifePoints ($5) in your account. Once you've reached this balance, you can spend your LifePoints on three main reward options: gift cards, PayPal payments and donations. Note that rewards options may vary between countries.

  • e-Gift cards - With just 550 points, you can request a $5 e-gift card from Amazon, Starbucks, Best Buy, Google Play, Apple Store, Marks & Spencer, Love2Shop, ebay, to gas stations, and more
  • PayPal payments - With 1200 points in your account, request a $10 PayPal payment.
  • Donations - Donate to a great charity with as little as $1 (110 points). Charities include: Red Cross, Special Olympics, Eco Matcher

All rewards are issued within 10 days of request. If requesting a PayPal payment, be sure your PayPal email address is the same as the e-mail address you used to sign up with Lifepoints.

Points Value: 550 Lifepoints = $5.00. Therefore, 10 points = $0.09

Survey Taking Experience

Take Surveys, Earn Points, Get Rewarded

As a LifePoints member, you can contribute your views and opinions by completing online surveys covering various aspects of your daily life. Other activities such as mini-polls, product testing and other types of data collection are also opportunities to earn LPs (LifePoints) to receive exceptional rewards including money and free gift cards.

Survey invitations are sent out by email and can be taken any time during the survey period. Members don’t need any special skills to complete the activities within LifePoints consumer panel. If you can contribute your thoughts and fill out the online survey, then you’re ready to go!

Survey Lengths

Survey lengths vary, however most surveys will take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Compensation awarded for every survey varies, and depends on its length, as well as the client's urgency for survey takers to complete it. The more urgent the assignment, the more points it will offer.

Receiving More Surveys

To ensure you're being invited to the maximum number of surveys, ensure your personal information on file is up to date. Do this by filling out the profile questions available in your account (which will earn you an extra 10 points!). This will help match you to the best possible surveys and will increase the number of market research studies that are most relevant to you and your lifestyle.

Tip! Be sure to add @LifePointsPanel.com to your list of trusted senders, address book or contact list so that survey invites make it to your inbox.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you start a survey but don’t get to finish it, LifePoints will reward you with a small number of points as recognition for your time and effort. Point amounts may be 2 or 3 points at a time and can help you reach a cash out sooner. You may earn up to 10 extra LifePoints a day this way, which means you can redeem your earnings for rewards sooner!

Lifepoints throttles you

March 5, 2024 by Gary from United States

I used to be a huge supporter of Lifepoints survey panel but as of now? I no longer support them. I used to be able to cashout daily at between $5 and $10 now it takes me a week to get enough surveys to get $5 to cashout because the closer you get to cashing out the less surveys you get. And now I have enough points to cashout and it won't let me cashout. It just stays on the loading screen. Their customer support for life points is useless. I had an issue with a survey that didn't pay me and I contacted them and they literally used the " it's not a bug a feature " line on me. The survey in question stopped working and when I told them and showed them they said " it timed out because it's a security feature " instead of giving me the points I lost and the time I lost taking the survey.
I strongly suggest avoiding this survey app. Its not worth the space It takes up on your phone.

Very Disappointed in Lifepoints

February 8, 2024 by Julie from United States

07FEB24 – LifePoints – I am sending, yet another, ticket in regard to my DEACTIVATED account and the fact that your survey site is still sending me survey invites after you accused me of being a dishonest panel member and that I violated your terms and conditions. AGAIN… I said that it was your site that had a problem and not my answers to the surveys. Receiving recent survey invites from Lifepoints after my account was deactivated back in June 2023 and it is now 05FEB2024 clearly shows that you stole my points and deactivated my account erroneously. I sent a ticket back on 12JAN24 for this very same reason and you still have not rectified the situation, yet you want to accuse me and steal my points after 10+ years of being a member. I am more than pissed about the unethical practices of Lifepoints and the theft of my points and to add insult to injury you keep sending me survey invites!! …. AGAIN, if you want me to continue taking your surveys, then you need to reactivate my account and restore my points, immediately. If that will not happen, then please refrain from sending me your survey invitation invites!! ---- If this continues, then I will press charges for harassing communications.
Attached you will find the most recent email survey invitation, dated. Please know that this and all other communication is documented.

12JAN24 --- Hello LifePoints.... I am a former member because you cancelled my account with the bogus reason that I violated your terms and conditions after many, many, many years as a panel member and took all my points, which I am still pissed about!! .... Today, 12JAN24, I received a Telco survey invite in my email box from your 'lovely and honest' site! ... Why am I receiving survey emails from Lifepoints when you terminated my account?? .... There goes to show that it is in fact your mechanisms and site that has the problems and they weren't with my honest answers to the surveys! .... You terminated my membership and stole my points and now want to send me invitations to surveys!? .... Well, I took the survey out of curiosity and at the end of it was routed to a Cint site, thanking me for my participation! .... If you want me to continue taking your surveys, then you need to reactivate my account and restore my points since you erroneously accused me of being dishonest! If that will not happen, then please refrain from sending me your survey invitation invites!!

Update -- Submitted another ticket per the response from Lifepoints to cite the
'SITEREVIEW-SP' and received another ticket response saying "Your inquiry was escalated for further review. The Terms and Condition violations have been confirmed and the account(s) will remain closed.
LifePoints reserves the right to terminate any membership suspected of Terms and Condition violations and further forfeit all awards earned from said account.
LifePoints does not reveal how investigations are conducted or the measures taken to investigate memberships. This policy is a precaution to prevent future circumvention of our security measures and/or investigative tactics.
LifePoints always errs on the side of the member, and the evidence must be overwhelming to result in membership termination. The evidence in your case was overwhelming.
Therefore, your membership(s) were terminated and all associated LifePoints (LPs)/awards were forfeited upon membership termination.

--- By their response to my initial review/rating on this site, I was in hopes that a tiered review would show that their determination was in error. But as with every other long time member on this panel site who has had their account cancelled, I feel this is indeed a way to go about not paying out those that had a point balance. How can so many people have violated the terms and conditions around the same time?.. If not for the fact that either something is amiss with their site and surveys... OR they are indeed trying to get out of paying individuals for the honest time and efforts. They have accused me of being dishonest and unethical after all these years and I am VERY disappointed in the way they have handled my account.
_____________________________________________________________

I have been a member for many long years starting with the MySurvey, which changed to GlobalTest Market, which then changed to LifePoints. Throughout all these years I have enjoyed being a member and have never had a problem until the other day when I could not get into my account with an Access Denied message and it saying that my account was canceled. I am being told that I violated the Terms and Conditions after all these years! .. A reevaluation was supposedly done in 10 minutes and still the same answer from the LifePoints Team. I understand security measures but there is no way that a fair evaluation was done in that little of time and I am truly saddened by the way that they have chosen to treat a Very Long Time Member that has had no issues throughout a tenure of 10 or more years as a panelist on this team. I get their automated message advising that the Terms and conditions were violated and the last response was that 'they were working on it' but that was on 15JUN23 and I have yet to hear anything back from them. Very disappointed in the way Lifepoints chooses to treat those who have been with them for such a very long time.

Angry, unsatisfied and robbed

December 7, 2023 by Martin from Austria

I've been a Life Points member for two years and have consistently and diligently participated in the provided surveys. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, my account was unjustifiably closed, despite still having life points worth three figures. Regrettably, the support has been unresponsive, and they are unwilling to review or reactivate my account. The support appears distant and unresponsive, with no one willing to provide information on what I may have done wrong or offer me a second chance. Surprisingly, I didn't receive any warnings at all.

My sole request is to be able to redeem the rewards for the efforts I've invested by allowing me a final payout. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this disgraceful and deceitful site. I feel unfairly treated and as if my hard work has been stolen from me.

Hello Martin,

Growing our LifePoints Community is very important to us. We depend on our members and when we have to inactivate an account due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions, it is something we take very seriously to ensure we are making the right decision. This is sometimes necessary in order to be the best we can be for our clients.
Lifepoints Deactivate

October 8, 2023 by Rob from Australia

I have been a member for many years, since global test market days and up until recently nothing too negative to report. Until recently, I had always redeemed points for vouchers and there has not been a issue, that is until I connected my PayPal account and requested funds. I had accumulated over 80 000 points worth over $700 over months and many hours. Not having used PayPal before, I decided to redeem $300 and make sure it was all fine. This occurred with no problems and I received the funds, so I proceeded to redeem the additional $ 400. This is where the problems commenced, as I see has happened to so many others. The redemption went through and according to notification and confirmation was being processed with funds to be in my PayPal account within 5 days. I went to log in to Lifepoints a couple of days later and could not, messaged the help centre and then came the response I have as per the T&C been deactivated. I have been completing surveys for over a decade (1000’s) with this company and not had an issue or claim that I was answering in any way than honestly up until now. Message the help centre and dispute to receive the standard message that I have been deactivated due to violation of T&C and the decision is final. Have continuously tried to get answers of what it is that I have done, but to no avail. To get that amount of $ I would have completed well over 500 surveys and no issue! Go to cash out and there is all of a sudden a problem with my responses and integrity apparently. Something is not right! So be aware you might go fine for an extended period of time but there is every possibility that they will deactivate you without warning or regard and take whatever you have EARNED in the meantime. This with no explanation or legitimate reason, even if you could get one. So deactivated due to violating T&C and I get a survey sent today that I could open, data integrity? I wonder if the companies that this organisation represent would feel that Lifepoints is acting with integrity with the very people it requires to operate.

**UPDATE** 07th October 2023
After following the instructions, as per Lifepoints response to my review. This is the response that I received Thursday 28th September.

“Hello, ———! Your orders got cancelled along with your account. I see that you have been advised on this matter by one of my colleagues, so we did explain the situation. We did see your emails. The team is following the Lifepoints procedures. We need to be fair and sometimes this means closing accounts. I am sorry, but the decision is final. Thank you!”

So, much the same response as others. Look through review sites you will see this is not an isolated case. Clarification, their explanation consisted of “ deactivated account due to violation of T&C’s”. They have Not and will NOT tell you what it is that you are claimed to have done. Lifepoints have never officially stated they were not honouring the outstanding funds until this response. I knew that this would be the case as they pocket my points as well as the companies payment, but I wanted them to confirm and state they were keeping the funds that I legitimately earned.

These are the facts you can make your own educated decision.
