Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

MySurvey is an online survey community where members can influence the future of the products and services that they use each and every day. They've rewarded over $32 million USD worldwide to date! MySurvey is part of Lightspeed, both owned by WPP, one of the world's leading communications services groups. MySurvey has been collecting American opinions since 1946 as National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

avoid diaries, poor service

customer service is terrible. most of the time you get a generic response that has nothing to do with the problem you reported.

They send out a lot of invitations for surveys that do not exist. Instead you get a message from MySurvey saying they are testing a faster way of paying you but it is not working. Have been getting several of these a day for months.

My Survey does a lot of week long or month long diaries where you record what you consumed or bought over the period. It is very common to get an "error" when you are done or almost done with the diary. the fact that the errors always happen near the end is suspicious. This means they get all of your data but you never get paid. If you contact customer service they will either say there is nothing they can do or that they will look into it but if you do not hear from them in 6 weeks that they are not going to do anything.

Reported to them that they had charged my account for a gift certificate that I had not requested and had not received. There response was to inactivate my account and take my points. Their customer service refuses to respond to my messages.

Won't Reinstate My Account

My Survey inactivated my account without notifying me.
Left messages to please reinstate and many of my messages were ignored. Once they sent an e-mail stating that I should log in and leave a message. IF MY ACCOUNT IS INACTIVE I CAN'T LOG IN TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!!! I'm guessing they are getting out of the survey business and they just don't care. I would stay away because they'll steal your points and close your account for no reason.

Rip Off!

I have been a member of MySurvey for at least 15 years, probably longer. I have had intermittent problems with them but they usually straightened out in a week or two. NOT NOW, in the past month! I was repeatedly not getting paid for surveys, getting error messages or I was timed out . AFTER I completed a long survey. I never got responses to my HELP questions about this. In the past week I had no surveys at all, which was really strange. Then a couple of days ago I tried to log in, as I do every day, and I got the following message "Inactive Account
We apologize, but the account used is currently not active. Please contact us if you have questions." That is utterly ridiculous. I have sent an inquiry into them every day for the past few days and wonder IF I will ever get an answer. Of course I was about to cash out for a $75 gift card and now I can't do that. I am angry, feel very let down as a long time member. They obviously do not care. Steer clear of this awful site so you don't get ripped off too. ( I will come back and report any responses I get from them but I doubt any will be forthcoming)

Gone down hill

This used to be a pretty good survey company, but in the last few months it has gone downhill. Get plenty of invitations for surveys but getting messages about being unavailable on most of the surveys, even when it is a recent invitation. The occasional one I do manage to complete quite often don't register any points, even after weeks. Have contacted them with my concerns and received the stock "we care" answer but no improvement. Would not waste my time.
