Survey Taking Experience

Collect Your Points

Most OneOpinion surveys pay the points equivalent of $1 to $5 ($1 = 1,000 points), so you’ll hit the 25,000 point threshold needed to start redeeming your rewards quickly if you are an active member of the panel.

When new online surveys become available, you'll be e-mailed a survey invitation which will state the topic of the survey, the number of points offered for completing it, as well as the approximate time it'll take to complete. Even if you end up getting screened out of a survey, One Opinion will still reward you with points! This will help you reach your rewards goals faster.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you get screened out or are disqualified from an online survey, OneOpinion will still compensate you. Earn up to 250 points per day (50 points x 5 disqualifications) for screen outs.

Get Your Points Immediately!

After you complete an online survey, your reward points will instantly be loaded into your account. These points can be traded in towards great rewards from the OneOpinion Rewards Program.

Take Part in LOTS of Surveys

If you qualify, and your profile matches the studies criteria, there may be a new survey for you to take every day. Partner surveys are also available, which will help match you to additional studies.

Nothing but a source of frustration

October 18, 2018 by Jane from United States

Update: I finally give up on this site. After half an hour or an hour working on a survey. Just when I've answered the very last question, instead of crediting you for your hard work, here's what you get from One Opinion: "sorry, you didn't quality for this survey." This doesn't just happen from time to time. It happens 100% of the time, lately. I give up. Don't waste your time on this site.
It used to be ok. Now it's nothing but a total waste of time. Disqualifies you 99.99% of the time, especially after you're halfway through, or actually complete a survey.

The pay is pitiful, that is if you're paid for your hard work at all. Average pay is around 50 cents. But don't worry about the low pay, because you won't be paid, most of the time.

Update Sept 18, 2018: They let me complete a survey on pizza takeouts and deliveries, which took about 1 hour. And not until the very end when I had answered every question, including the ones for classification purposes, did they tell me "It seems you've already entered this survey".

there are much better sites!!

August 9, 2018 by Michelle from United States

in my opinion there are better sites . this one has lowered points big time where it is not even worth it to take a survey.. they , also make you wait 4 days to get your gift card or paypal after you redeem your points. they use a "robot" for customer service now.. if you need to have live chat, that can take up to a week.. some of their CSR's can be degrading and rude at times.. like I said not worth the drama.. way too many other FUN sites.. :)

Michelle,

Thank you for providing this feedback, and apologies for your experience with OneOpinion.

We are sorry for any frustrations with the processing time for the reward cards. This 72 hour processing time has been in place for a little over a year, and was implemented in order to ensure that our members receive the rewards they have worked hard to earn, and are not subject to any potential fraudulent activity.

I apologize for the troubles you have had with our Emily virtual assistant. Emily was put in place in order to give our members a quick touch point to get assistance at any time they may need it. We are constantly working towards improving Emily's skill sets, and she will eventually be able to handle much more complex cases and inquiries. Any time she is unable to handle a request, a support ticket will always be sent to our human team to look into further.

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced any rudeness from our member care team. We pride ourselves on treating every member with care and respect, and regret that you feel you've been treated otherwise.

If you would like to discuss this further, we can be contacted via email at [email protected]. We can also set up a phone call if you would like.

Best,
-Alex P

Missing credit

November 14, 2017 by Jadan from United States

Usually, this site isn't too bad. Lately, however, I have completed surveys and not received my credit. This is extremely frustrating because then I have to contact customer support and wait. And yes, I complete each question thoughtfully, I respond correctly to the questions they throw in there to see if you're paying attention. I finish every single question, the last page will say I completed the survey and yet, no points. If I go through the whole survey and don't raise any flags for not paying attention, why aren't I receiving credit? It's not because I don't qualify because the last page always says I'm done. If I didn't qualify it would kick me out earlier. I think it's a glitch because it's been happening every day. This, on top of the point values getting lower while the surveys get longer are really frustrating to me. If I take the time to do a survey thoughtfully, and the survey says I qualify, I should receive my credit right away.

Used to be great

September 11, 2017 by Leah from United States

They changed their pay scale. They used to pay $2 for every 20 minute survey and $2 for about 60% of the 15 minute surveys. Now they only pay $1 for all 15 minute surveys and $1 for about 95% of the 20 minute surveys. It's a huge bummer. Now I only use "Quick Thoughts " for surveys they pay $2 for every survey no matter how long or short.

Hi Leah,

Thank you for offering your feedback, and apologies for any issues you experienced with the point scale. Our goal is to provide you with the most surveys possible and in order to do this, we might offer less than 1000 points on some surveys. The reward amounts are based on the topic, length and how specific the respondent should be (i.e. lives in Omaha, and drives a Subaru, etc.). We have thousands of clients that depend on us for their market research needs both small and large. Rest assured that we will continue to offer points well above 1000 as we usually do along with all other amounts you're used to seeing. We are listening to you and all of our Members, so thank you for writing in. If we can answer any other questions, feel free to write in or call us 24/7!

Best,

Gone, gone, gone

May 5, 2017 by Charlene from United States

Use to be one of my favorite sites and now has merged to their sister company OneOpinion. It will take months to cash out and to complete a survey. Oh well, off to better and better sites just in the nick of time.
