No customer service

Beware of doing surveys on Opinionsite. Over the past few months I have qualified to take several surveys that allowed me to complete in full. When I finished the surveys and submitted them I would get a message “this survey is now closed”. I have emailed the help desk over the past month about these surveys asking for compensation and have received no response whatsoever. I have started emailing every few days…nothing.

I really never write reviews for companies unless I have concerns but I felt inclined to write this and warn others.


ADDENDUM: I emailed the site as suggested by respondent and they credited my account immediately. They said they had a large number of emails to respond to which caused a delay.

Debra - Thanks for contacting us. After some investigation we found that your Opinionsite account was credited the $75 on 5/21/2019. You just needed to login and redeem (i.e. select E-Gift Card or Check).

Update: After becoming more aggressive about contacting OpinionSite, the issue was resolved within one working day. I am pleased at the outcome, though still somewhat frustrated that my prior two inquiries about the apparent delayed payment were not fruitful. Regardless, thank you to Jason for the (eventual) speedy resolution!

I completed a phone interview with a promised payment of $300 three months ago and still have not received payment. I have contacted OpinionSite multiple times with no resolution. This seems to be a commonly reported problem with OpinionSite.

I was locked out my account and had to reset the password. Somehow my account was linked to someone else's.

While doing this, I was able to reset my password and gain access to my account again .

I had points built up and when I looked at my account, they was a payout request dating back to June. I don't remember requesting, this but what took the cake was the fact I never received the check which was requested, nor the Amazon codes.

It's September, why is it taking so long. And them I've sent Susan Bloom numerous emails and she ignores them and won't respond.

I've had problems with payouts before with this company, but they usually respond. This time, she wont.

I just want to know what happened and to get what's owed to me

I've been a member on this site for years and got so excited because I finally reached cash out. I did a project for $150 and redeemed for 2 checks when I finally got my points. It's been a month or more and no checks. I've sent plenty ignored messages to "customer service". Just a bunch of wasted time with no response on ETA for my incentives for my work. It took them a while just to respond to confirm my address. When I noticed my latest unanswered email was from more then two weeks ago I sent another one to really let them know how frustrated I was... I will keep this updated if I get a response and my money ever this month. I'm thinking if this site used to be good it is not anymore. Does not seem legit in my experience. I don't think I've ever been stiffed with paychecks in my life and hope this isn't the first!!

After waiting months I finally got my money. After many emails I only got 1 response that gave me peace of mind but that was from the project manager I had the idea to email. Not their so called customer service. I got the check soon after but I think it's crazy how long it takes to get paid by check. I'm currently waiting for a check from itracks and it's almost mid May and I finished the few day project back in March. These companies need to get it together.

I am glad to hear your issue was resolved. We process 1000's of payments each week and paper checks take an extra effort on our end to print, process and snail mail so these are done in batches at the end of each month. They do take longer than our other forms of automated payment (i.e. e-gift cards and PayPal). I apologize we did not set the proper expectations on the timeline for the check arrival. The good news is you can request other types of payments from your portal login that are much faster.
