Payment and Rewards

Rewards for Surveys

Complete surveys in exchange for points and redeem your points for rewards including Amazon.com vouchers, cash via PayPal, restaurant gift cards, and more. Some surveys do not award points, but rather, offer donations to charities. These surveys are usually quite short and can be taken on an almost daily basis! You will be notified before the start of the survey, if the survey is offering you rewards (points) or asking for your opinion for charitable donations, before you begin.

Redeeming Points

The minimum points or dollars redemption threshold is $10 USD (or equivalent in Canada), unless there is a lower redemption option available. Threshold amounts vary in countries outside of the US and Canada. Members who choose to redeem their earnings by PayPal or for an e-gift certificate, often receive their payments instantaneously, or within a few hours. Physical gift cards usually take approximately 2 weeks for processing and mailing.

I am absolutely appalled by the number of surveys that I have done which have led to technical error messages from the client site, which have precluded me from receiving my incentive. When you contact the panel, they respond with carbon copy emails, which shows they haven't really considered the SPECIFIC incident that you've raised with them.

It's also worth noting that for many surveys that last 20-25 minutes, you are credited a tiny 50p! Absolutely terrible!

Also, last year, I did an SMS study for about a week, in which I shared my experiences with mobile networks via text. During the screening study, I was told I would get about £5 upon completion of the study. After complaining to the panel about my lack of reimbursement several times, they have done NOTHING about it! How dare they!? This is robbery!

Avoid them at all costs.

complaint against terminating my account

I have been honestly completing surveys and I need to know why my account was terminated. I need to know the reason please as I don't think I have broken any rules and regulations.

Unexplained Account Termination when Redeeming Points

April 13, 2015 by James from Australia

As the title suggests; I had accrued 5600 points and decided to redeem via Paypal, 5000 points. I login to Paypal enter my account information then i'm redirected to a page from OpinionWorld detailing the Terms and Conditions - trying to login results in a message saying my account has been terminated for no reason. Looks like they really don't want you to have any money.

membership terminated for no reason

November 3, 2014 by jaklin from Australia

I went to log in found that my membership was terminated because I violated their T&C which I never have. when emailed them to explain they replied by cut and paste a section of their T&C which states that they have the right to terminate any membership with or without a reason at any time. This doesn't not show any accountability for this website and that they have no respect for members . I had many surveys lately and was about to claim , I think that's why they terminated my account.
what is worse is that, I recommended them for few people and the same happened with them. I don't recommend opinion world to anyone, don't waste your valuable time with them there are many other trusted websites.

Wasted time, stingy pay.

They are similar to Survey Spot and Opinion Outpost, who also inundate your inbox with emails for low-paying surveys. They have the same reward structure as Survey Spot, which is 1pt = 1 penny. Well, I've never gotten a survey that offered more than $.50 (50pts) , and they can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 40. You wanna get paid 50 cents for 40 min? Be my guest. After much agony, I've finally made it to my 1000 pts , so I'm cashing out and saying goodbye. There are a lot of panels that give you more for your time. (FYI - You need a VERIFIED Paypal to cashout, so that means a Paypal account with a bank account attached, or you'll have to take some other prize like a gift card.)
