New Member Cash Bonus

Join and immediately get a sign up bonus deposited into your account. Joining is easy and free and can be done using your e-mail address, or by connecting your Google or Facebook account. New member cash bonus amounts vary per country, but for USA and Canada, it is $1.00. An activation code is not required to receive the $1.00 sign up bonus - once you fully register, you will see the amount instantly credited to your account.

How PaidViewpoint Determines How Much You'll Earn Per Survey

Every survey gets a fixed portion of the sale price allocated to the respondents who answer the questions. That pot of money is divided up between the respondents, based on their TraitScore. Adjustments are made to level the playing field so that newer members of PaidViewpoint are treated equally well as compared to longstanding members. The respondent pool is divided into groups and the higher-level groups get paid more for each survey answer.

Payment Options

PaidViewpoint offers online surveys in exchange for cash and gift cards. All cash-out payments are made through Paypal or their partner, Virtual Incentives.

  • Receive your first payment with a $15.00 USD balance in your account. Your second rewards redemption can be made with $10 in your account, and all subsequent redemptions can then be made with just $5 worth of earnings in your account if your account is in good standing
  • Receive your reward within 72 hours of request
  • Reward options include PayPal payments (all countries), or e-gift cards to Amazon, Walmart, etc. (for members in the USA and Canada)
  • If you are located outside the USA, you will be paid to your PayPal account, or issued an e-gift card in US dollars

How to Get More Surveys

paidviewpoint survey

Getting Notified for New Surveys

Paidviewpoint does not typically send an e-mail notification to members when a new survey becomes available. Instead, surveys are posted to user dashboards. Upon logging in, you may see a message in the top right corner that says, "1 survey is waiting". PaidViewpoint recommends logging into your account regularly to be able to take these higher paying surveys, versus waiting for an e-mail invitation.

Handy Browser Notifications

One way to easily check for new surveys is to keep a tab open on your web browser that has the Paidviewpoint website loaded. When you see a red dot on the tab icon that looks like this: new survey a new survey is available in your account! If a study is ultimately difficult to fill, Paidviewpoint may then opt to notify members when these full surveys (research surveys) are available and require more responses.

Member's Tip! Don't wait for PaidViewpoint to e-mail you surveys. Log in to your account regularly to find full surveys (non-trait surveys) posted there first.

Survey Lengths

Survey lengths vary, but are typically between 5-6 minutes. All surveys have limits placed on the number of characters in a question (120-240) and in survey answers (90-120) to give a Twitter-like feel. The number of answer choices is limited. Long, classic, complex, matrix-type questions are forbidden and the number of open-ended questions (where you have to type in answers) is limited. The maximum number of questions in a survey is limited on average, to around just 10 questions long.

Daily Surveys

You can wait until new surveys are posted to your dashboard, but you can also take "Trait Surveys" and earn between $0.03 and $0.10, on most days. These Trait Surveys not only serve to regularly increase your earnings, but they also help increase your TraitScore. Note that receiving trait surveys regularly may depend on your region.

PaidViewpoint App

If you prefer to take surveys on your phone, and like having direct access to your surveys account, you may consider downloading the PaidViewpoint app. You can complete surveys directly from the app, check your account balance and cash out your earnings when ready. The Paidviewpoint app is available on Android only, via Google Play.

Community Features

paidviewpoint referral program

Increase Your TraitScore and Earn More

PaidViewpoint's patent-pending TraitScore system was invented to assess the candor and consistency of survey respondents and to incentivize these characteristics. The higher your TraitScore, the more you can earn per survey. A high TraitScore allows you to receive the maximum number of surveys per month.

9000 TraitScore: Achieve a TraitScore of 9000 to become part of the top 10% of members who earn more for each research survey!

Referral Program

PaidViewpoint offers a generous referral program where you will earn 20% of what your referrals earn for taking research surveys. In other words, earn 20% from your referrals when they take surveys other than "Traits Surveys". You can have an unlimited number of referrals and can earn up to a lifetime maximum of $25 per referral. If you can refer friends from the USA in particular, you will likely find you can earn more.

VIP Community Builders

For members who can generate large numbers of referrals, PaidViewpoint offers a VIP Community Builder Club. The benefit of the Club is that you'll be credited with 20% of a referred user's earnings immediately after they complete a survey, without having to wait to be credited until a referral actually cashes out their earnings.

To get this privilege, you must have 100+ ACTIVE friends/referrals. Active means your referrals have been a member for more than 30 days and must be visiting the site and completing surveys on a regular basis.

Is PaidViewpoint Legit or Scam?

It's barely appropriate to even question whether Paidviewpoint is legit or a scam. PaidViewpoint is operated by AYTM (Ask Your Target Market) - a legitimate and well-regarded market research company with millions of members worldwide. They offer legitimate surveys to their respondents and pay them on time.

Although some users may have varying levels of success with the website (i.e. international users may find it difficult to find full paying surveys; surveys that are not just $0.03 'trait surveys'), it doesn't mean that the panel itself is illegitimate, never mind a 'scam'.

Eligibility: Worldwide, 13+ (16+ in the EU).

Note: McAfee antivirus has been known to mistake PaidViewpoint as a "phishing" website. You can ignore this warning.

I don't know what happened!

May 16, 2018 by Wayne from United States

Okay, so after it taking 5.5 years to give me enough surveys to reach the required $15.00 to cash out... I did! And now I can't get their website to log in on Any of the three browsers (Firefox, Internet explorer or MS Edge) I have on my pc! I have a favorites link to their homepage which comes up but doesn't give a spot to type in your email address & password. So I have requested for them to cancel and or delete my account which leaves me with mixed emotions :-) :-(

Wayne....that's terrible. We apologize that you can not login. We will definitely pay your earnings if you are at the $15 required threshold.

Please write to [email protected] Mention me in your email. We will need your user name or email address that you used to create your PaidViewPoint account.

Not worth your time

May 14, 2018 by Chris from United States

I had an account for a month and a half, and accumulated a whopping TWO DOLLARS, which you of course can't cash out until you accumulate more, and is wasted since I closed the account. They are WAY more interested in trying to get you to sign up your friends than actually giving you surveys. Very few surveys are offered (most are for your "trait score") and they don't pay but around a dime each.

Hello, Chris,

We are sorry to hear that you did not like our site and feel we are not worth your time.
We feel that you have misunderstood our process. Most survey sites do not pay you for every survey while they "Learn" about you. We do. After we learn more about you, your likes and dislikes, and your consistency, we start to deliver the better-paying surveys from our clients. This process is not a fast one but a necessary process. We pride ourselves in delivering the best respondent for our clients.

Despite the negative review, we will still try and learn from it at our next meeting. Thanks for your comments.

Years to earn...

November 23, 2017 by Werner from South Africa

You do earn with this site...

But to reach the given $25 before cashout literally takes...well...years!

HI Werner,

Thanks for trying our site. We realize our site may not be optimal for some international members. There are many factors and algorithms that go into creating a great user experience. Certain things can hinder getting surveys from our customers like: missing demographics, inconsistency in answering our in-house Trait Surveys and frequency of visits. Also, we     do      not      send out invites on every survey that you may qualify for.  If you wait for invites, you will not make much cash. But, if you log into your PaidViewPoint DashBoard many times throughout the day (if able) you most likely would see surveys waiting for you to complete. If you'd like, you could write to [email protected] so we can better examine your account. Please ask for me in your support email.

1 month later, $3 richer

August 26, 2017 by Aaron from United States

I've been on paidviewpoint for about a month now. I answer the surveys within a few hours of them being posted, but a lot of times this is one 10 cent survey every two to three days. The surveys are short, but it'll be this time next year before I make enough to cash out. Meanwhile on another site, I've already gotten $30 in gift cards over the same time and am earning 30 cent to a dollar on each survey. I'll never understand how it has as many good ratings as it does.

Hi there Aaron,

Something sounds wrong. Please write to us at [email protected] since you are anonymous on SurveyPolice.
There could be a simple "Fix" or explanation of the lack of surveys. I assure you, our idea is not to have someone near the $15 cash out threshold and then slow the surveys. We hope you write to us so we can examine your account.
