How Does It Work?

There are thousands of items to review on the website. For music, you must listen to a track for a minimum of 90 seconds and then you are allowed to write a review. For fashion items & accessories or commercials you will be provided with a rating system out of 10 and may have to answer a few questions.

Be an All Star Rater!

An aspect of your payment when writing reviews is based on the quality of reviews you are writing. If your reviews are detailed, constructive and well-written, you will earn more stars attached to your profile. Individuals will more stars tend to earn more for reviewing!

Payment Per Review

Payment per review is in the range of $0.02 to $0.20, depending on what exactly you are reviewing, but this can add up quickly as there are thousands of items you can review at any given time on Slicethepie. The website is currently offering a $0.10 bonus on reviewing some items which makes the rewards even sweeter!

$10 Minimum Payment

Slicethepie has a relatively low withdrawal minimum at $10. Earnings will be transferred directly into your PayPal account and will always be sent in US dollars no matter where you are based. This may take up to 5 days to process, and payments are usually made on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Get Rewarded for Referring Friends!

Slicethepie has a pretty great referral program. If you have friends, family members or colleagues who would be interested in joining the community, send them your personal referral code. Once they sign up, you will begin collecting bonuses after they leave their first review. The most lucrative part is you will continue receiving rewards on their reviews a full year after they sign up! Remember that you need to send them your referral code in order for your future rewards to be linked to their participation. Invite as many friends as you like!

So much is wrong

This use to be one of my favorite websites to go and make a little side money. You don't make much per review unless there is a bonus active, but it adds up quick enough. You get paid to listen to music. All was going great and I had cashed out several times over the course of a few years. I had read people having problems with their accounts being closed and I thought they did something wrong. Nope they probably did not. I go to log on and it said my account was locked due to using a proxy server. I have used the same internet for slicethepie for years now with no problem. So I sent an email. Their customer service said that they would unlock my account but if I kept using a proxy server than it would get locked again. Sure enough 24 hours later my account was locked again. Save your time.

Slow, Payment Difficulties, Account Randomly Terminated

June 25, 2017 by Lindsay from United States

This site is a joke.

The premise is fun. You can review products from an array of categories. Your reviews earn a monetary reward based on your reviewer ranking.

I plugged away at this site for a few months and when it finally came time to cash out I couldn't because the site claimed my birth date was not matching what my account had on file. I thought this was strange, because I have no reason to falsify my date of birth. There's no reason why it shouldn't match up. I emailed the site team for assistance and they asked that I send them my ID for verification. Excessive, but whatever. I just want my $10.

Shortly after, my account was terminated with the following error message "Your account has been locked because you have been accessing the site through a proxy server which has demonstrated fraudulent activity.".

I do not use a proxy service for any reason. I have never attempted to cheat while using this, or any, survey site.

I'm confused, angry, and absolutely disappointed in SliceThePie.

Don't waste your time with this one.

Oh ! Absoulutely this site is scandlous. Just 10 minutes ago I was on the lovely slicethepie and I was happily working away getting so close to my $10 payout. When lo and behold ! All of a sudden I get a notice saying my account is shut down. Closed because I rated too many 10's. I will never get paid for the work i did for them reviewing and they keep my reviews for free. I was penalized for giving honest reviews.DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE they ripped me off of all my efforts and good trust. They get a BAD review.
