With Smart Panel App, you can help your favorite web sites, apps, tech companies, and mobile carriers give you better services and more features. Download the Smart App and anonymously share your data. All data collected is encrypted, secured, and protected – Smart App is owned and operated by Verto Analytics Research firm.

How Smart App Works

With Smart App, you’ll need to apply to become a member. To apply you’ll answer a short survey about your personal details and your tech habits, including how often you use your smartphone.

If accepted, you’ll download the Smart App on your smartphone and keep it there. The app will usually give you surveys to answer. You’ll earn points by answering these questions about your technology habits.

The app will track your smartphone usage and share your habits from using this smartphone device. It reportedly uses around 3MB of data per month and causes an extra 1-5% reduction of battery life. You may have to download a VPN onto your device too.

After you have kept the app on your phone for 30 days, you can convert the points earned into rewards for the first time.

Probably the worst.

I installed all of the apps on my devices I use most, and all they did was email me REPETITIVELY that I apparently didn't have them installed. I'm talking at least every 3 days I get a new email from VertoSmart saying I need to install their apps and that I'm running out of time to do so. I've emailed them when I had trouble with the app on my phone and it took them a week plus to get back to me on it. Right when everything was okay and in the clear, SmartPanel sends me emails about how I need to install the apps. I go on my account to verify that I installed them (which I did to begin with), just for them to be magically 'not installed' on my account even though they were all on my devices listed. This company is frustrating, customer service is as useful as a box of rocks- you'll have better luck riding an elephant at a zoo than you will getting any correspondence from VertoSmart.

Like what others have said on here, they replied to my message once saying I didn't have anything installed, etc, yet I have proof/photos of everything installed properly, VPN active, etc. It's frustrating because like many of us on here, we're just trying to earn a few extra bucks for our family.. I'm literally so upset that I cannot take out the $15 (should be $25 by now I think). That $15 can help us out so much right now. They're not responding though I've been very patient in waiting to see if they will help out, but no answer yet. Possibly a scam? How do we report it to the BBB, or somewhere else? If we "agreed" to their installing VPN on our devices, but they don't reward like they said they would, wouldn't that still be illegal on their part? Anyway, rant over. I don't know what to do. Still holding on for that $15. It may not be a lot to some people, but it can pay for my toddler's diapers!

I installed the software necessary to be a part of this panel, it caused my computer to act as if it had a virus, became very slow! I was unable to use my computer without all types of ads popping up, even though I have ad blocker plus installed through google extension, I immediately uninstalled it and ran a full system scan through Norton, everything was okay and my computer speed is back to normal.

Don't waste your time.

I went back and forth with support for a month trying to get this app to install correctly. It would install on my devices, but when I tried to log in, it would either say Unregistered device (it WAS registered) or it would say Error 4. Every few days I would get an email from them saying that I had been removed from the panel permanently for not installing the software, then I would get another email the next day from support saying they had added me back. However they couldn't tell me what Error 4 was or how to get the software to work and let me log in. Not to mention, it was a memory hog.. My phone and my pc were very, very sluggish. It just wasn't worth the time and frustration. I uninstalled and also told them that I was going to tell everyone that I knew (5k twitter followers as well) not to install this cruddy software.
