SpiderMetrix is an Australian-based survey panel which was established back in the year 2000. This fun community collects opinions for companies big and small. Become a "spider" (panel member) with SpiderMetrix and give your opinion on topics such as restaurants, gaming, clothing, and more!

Earn Points for Your Time

As a spider, earn spiderPoints for your opinions! Most surveys take about 15-20 minutes of your time. They can sometimes take up to 35 minutes, but you will get extra points for completing surveys like these. You can also earn points for registering, completing your profile, doing a trial test, posting to SpiderVoice, and more.

Use Your SpiderPoints for Great Prizes

Once you have accumulated spiderPoints, you may use them towards various prize options:

• Cash - via PayPal, minimum cash out is $50.00 (300 spiderPoints)
• Vouchers - Amazon e-vouchers
• Donations to World Vision Australia
• Auctions - you may use your spiderPoints to bid on items that you desire. The auction option is currently closed, but may re-open in the future.

All prize claims will be paid out on the first week of the following month. You may also see the points earned by the entire spider community in the last 24 hours, week, month and year!

Open, Upcoming and Results of Surveys

A unique part of the SpiderMetrix website are the pages dedicated to showing which surveys are currently opening, and which are upcoming. It also lists what countries these studies are or will become available in. You may also view the results of some of the public survey studies. This can be very interesting - especially if you yourself participated in the survey!

Added Bonuses for Spiders!

The SpiderMetrix website is full of ways for spiders (members) to participate and stay engaged. The following are ways that members can be even more connected in the spider community.

• SpiderChat: Use SpiderChat to connect with other community members.
• SpiderByte: SpiderByte is the official newsletter that is sent out periodically. Read this newsletter to stay up to date on the latest news, prize winners and any other interesting information on the panel or surveys industry.
• SpiderVoice Forum: On the forum, members can submit entries on any topic and earn points for doing so.
• Weekly Polls: There are weekly polls available for members. If you answer a poll, you will be rewarded with 1 spiderPoint.
• Games & Competitions: From time to time there are different types of games and competitions available to spiders and you may receive "Buggs" for participating. 3 Buggs = 1 spiderPoint.

Spider BUGGS

Buggs is another currency of SpiderMetrix. Buggs can be earned and used in the various games and competitions that are available from time to time. They have no monetary value (in other words, you cannot exchange Buggs for cash or vouchers), but they can however be used in the Spider Auctions (when available) to bid for items.

Earn even more by referring new spiders to the community! Each time you refer a new spider member you will receive 1 spiderPoint for your efforts. To refer new members, use your personal referral link within your account.

Recently I tried to login to my account and my spider name and password are not registered in their system. Tried to retrieve my password but to no avail.

Is this their way of cancelling membership or are they out of business? I have sent an email but feel they will not reply.

I joined this panel over 12 months ago. I need another 40 points to be able to claim a reward. I am finding it difficult because only 1 point is paid for surveys. After 12 months you will have completed most of the surveys and not be able to do them again. I screened out of the other surveys that pay between 10 and 20 points I screen out of. The company did have some surveys that were supposed to take 35 minutes. The reward for these surveys was a sweepstakes entry. If you live in Australia I would advise you not to sign up to this company if you like to claim rewards within 12 months of joining.

Probably the worst survey site I've ever joined. If you're located outside of the UK like me (Singapore), you'll probably never get/qualify for a full length survey. I've been screened out of every single full length survey I've tried, and all I can get points from is the 1 point a week one, and provided I do every single one of them, it'll still take me at least 5 years to cashout. Ridiculous
