Survey Types and Topics

Survey Lengths

GooPoll awards a screenout reward of £0.02 for every survey you get disqualified from. So if you click on a survey and are unable to complete it, you'll still earn some compensation for your time.

Well it seems goopoll takes offence if you earn a £5 voucher after a year of dull as dish water polls. Never have I been so angry with a survey site than these charlatans. Not only does it take forever to earn enough points to reach the £5 cashout, they then take another age to process the voucher. So after amounting a whopping £10 in 2yrs of drudgery, poopoll have decided to block my account..it was probably because I was nearing another £5 after a million wasted hrs completing their dreary polls. My advice is don't bother..these clowns are probably folding and running away with your cash. AVOID

When you do a survey (which is usually short and easy), it seems like a generous points allocation of between 100 and 200 points. However, when you come to look at the rewards part of their website, you find that you need 5,000 to have earned a £5 voucher for somebody like Amazon. When you get infrequent survey opportunities as I do, it takes an age and many, many surveys, to get a measly £5 reward.

It is not really worth the effort.

Trying to change the email address on this website, every other site including banks was a 2-minute process. Couldn't find how to do on-site so emailed help this is part of the reply I received.

"Thanks you for your email. We are sorry for any confusion. Your ticket was closed as we asked for detailed information about the issue and did not receive any response. Hence we had to close the ticket. However, as you have mentioned the issue in this email - you wish to change email address for your account. If you want to change your email address for your GooPoll account, it will be necessary to close your current account and register a new account. The process is as follows: 1) Login via your existing account with the old email address that you want to change 2) Via the Help Desk/Support area, notify us that you want your old account closed and provide details of the new account 3) Set up your new account with the new email address you wish to use We will need to know the following before we can close your account and transfer any points balance to the new account. a) email of the new GooPoll account you have set up b) your full name and D.O.B c) the balance of GooPoints in the old account at the time the request is made to open a new account * Your name and D.O.B will need to match the details of the old account and the new account Once this is done, and we are satisified the information has been accurately provided, your old account will be closed and your balance will be transferred. After this time, you will not be able to login to the old account. Note: You will need to update your profile again in the new account. Thanks, GooPoll"

Declined the offer but told them they need to join the 21st century

Awful still, I'm waiting for a few hundreds points & will ditch them this time! It takes ages for points to be validated, but worse, never got the promised points for referring a friend, c-s always had excuses despite showing them that their app had glitches. They solved the login problem though (it's now automatic as you expect from an non-financial app) but I don't care anymore.

PREVIEWS UPDATE Rebranded themselves New name New app BUT NOTHING NEW! They got so slow in last year that now missing 100p (or 1000p in the new system) feels it will take another year! New app has errors, asks to login every time, shows nothing new! No polls No surveys! If I get to redeem I'll ditch them!

OLD REVIEW
I redeemed 4 vouchers from May16 to Sept17 which included Loyalty Draw £8.00; £2.00 for 100 Complete surveys (Loyalty stops at 100); £0.20 once Profile Reward; Screenout reward once £0.02.

Screenouts are rare and usually I get there in time before surveys close. Often a TABLET browser can be used but strangely, I have to use the one with an older Android version.

Rarely you have a longer survey and they will tell you in their invite email.
Surveys are more like very short or extended polls from 4p to 24p, quite fun. Often I feel options are either not enough or their questions are in contrast to what you previously selected, but I do my best with the options available.

In their terms they state for FEES to check your PAYPAL account but the latter says that it depends from where the payment is from etc.
When I redeemed Paypal with other panels the fee always was 2% BUT with SurveyGoo I did it once and it was an exaggerated 3.4%. I will consider my Loyalty rewards to off-set this fee but no wonder they do not specify it in their Terms like other panels do.

PANEL FORUM - Yes, there is a bit of this as well with various topics but I often forget it exists.
