Not one of the good guys

February 24, 2013 by Lori from United States

The first thing I have to say is that I finally did manage to get enough to cash out with Univox. It just happened to take me over a year to do it. Which is ridiculous. Part of the reason that it took me so long was because whenever I qualified for an actual survey, I hardly ever got the points for it. They give 5 points for dq's, but even when you actually complete a survey you still only get 5 points or an error message at the end. I contacted customer non-service many times using the e-mail address on their site and got no answer at all. Then I searched who owned Univox, found their e-mail address and wrote to them. When they finally got back to me they told me the address on the website wasn't valid. Then why is it there???? And they never did credit my account for the points that I earned. So this site is on my cut list. If the surveys were short, I'd prob keep them and take the 5 point dq's to add up to the gift card. But they aren't short and I don't want to waste my time.

You spend half an hour doing a survey, and quite often don't receive points! Contact customer service and they say you didn't do it and won't give you credit. I stopped trying and I'm planning to cash out and drop this dishonest site.

First of all, it took me over 10 months to cash out. As soon as I reached cash out (and actually received the award!) I quit. I would take survey after survey, spend 30 minutes or more, and be "rewarded" with 5 points. I wrote to customer service at least 5 times about a survey not being credited, and NEVER received a response. Finally I just kept trying every survey every day to rack up 20 or so points a day because I was determined to get my $25. I don't know if they work for other people, but they never worked for me. Terrible, awful waste of time.
