SITES LIKE Viewsbank

YouGov, Panel Champ

Viewsbank is a social forum where you get paid to complete surveys, projects and Mystery Shopping assignments on a range of subjects and industries. In addition to your regular paid work, you can create and vote on Polls, or join the Viewsbank conversation in community Groups.

The Viewsbank panel and website is owned and operated by Consumer Intelligence - an independent research company that has been providing customer and competitor insight since 2003.

Registration Process

Fill out the registration form and within 48 hours you will receive a series of 5 surveys that will narrow down what types of research projects you will be invited to.

Exciting Research Opportunities

Viewsbank offers a variety of ways to earn rewards. Within the registration process, check off which types of studies you are willing to participate in. As a member, don't forget to keep in mind that all projects are first come first serve, so the sooner you confirm your spot the better.

  • Online Surveys: New surveys are available on a weekly basis.
  • Mystery Shopping: May be done online, on the telephone, or in-person.
  • Home Research: Complete easy at home tasks and in return receive a reward.
  • Online Focus Groups: May be done on a group call or in a chat room. Focus groups provide the largest rewards for participation.

Note that assignments come as a first come first served basis, and some assignments, like mystery shopping have very limited availability, so act fast if you gain an invite!

Social Website!

Viewsbank prides themselves in being a "social website", where members are encouraged to interact with one another. Members can vote on polls and join groups with like-minded individuals for debates and discussions. There is also the option to create your own poll, which you can get paid for! Polls that become popular within the first three days of being released will be rewarded with £10. If a poll that you voted on begins to trend, then you will collect 1p. Learn more about polls in the "poll rules" section of the website.

Earn Cash & Prizes

Most of the time when you complete a research project, you will receive a cash payment directly into your account. Some studies offer entries into prize draws for cash or other items. Surveys are usually paid in cash or prize draw entries which appear within your member account, whereas mystery shopping or at home projects are mainly rewarded with direct payment.

Earn Between £15 - £20 a Month!

Payments are calculated on the last day of each month. A minimum of £12 must be accumulated before members can redeem towards a reward. Payment is usually transferred via PayPal.

Any earnings accrued during a month are paid on the second Tuesday of the following month, provided that the threshold has been reached. Any earnings below the threshold amount will be carried over to the following month. You will only be paid for earnings that have accrued during the previous calendar month. Any earnings accrued after the end of the month but before payday will be paid the following month, again provided you are over the £12 threshold.

The Unique Quote Research Project

The Unique Quote Research Project is an ongoing research study conducted by Viewsbank. Earn extra cash by participating in this project, as each time your information is used, you will collect a £5 cash reward.

Do NOT join

May 25, 2015 by casey from United Kingdom

Do not join this site, they do not care about their members and change the redemption amount without notifying us first. You get stupid little, waste of time surveys which will take ages to get to the redemption amount.

Hi Casey,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and I apologise that we have not been able to reply sooner. We have only recently gained access to reply on here and have been working through our reviews.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you have had, although admittedly some time ago now. We have made some significant improvements to the site since your review, but if you are still using the site and any of the above issues persist, please feel free to get in touch directly via [email protected] so I can look into them and resolve them for you.

very poor site

May 22, 2015 by CHRISTINE from United Kingdom

I joined Viewsbank over 12 months ago. Their threshold used to be £6. This has recently been raised to £12. When it was raised my balance was £4. I completed 2 surveys a week ago and my balance was not updated. The surveys are really poorly paid 11 pence is average. Lots of members are complaining about not being credited with surveys they have done. Also polls, which are suggested by the same old members ( and are now the main activity on their website) are unpaid. I contacted them and complained. The response I received was terse and rude. No apology no offer to update my balance. Just an offer to unsubscribe me if I wasn't happy. I had said in my email that the site had become unethical, which from lots of members points of view is true. Rob, who replied to my email took exception to my comments and sited technical problems as the reason for members balances not being updated. If this is the reason it has been going on for months. I have now unsubscribed, losing my balance of just over £4. Avoid this website. They pay very poorly and now the threshold is £12 it would take for ever to cash out.

GONE VERY FAR DOWNHILL

August 11, 2014 by Judith from United Kingdom

Was pretty good initially when I joined in May 2013, with fairly regular mini-surveys with payouts of between 5p and 20p and chances for you to have your details used to find prices on comparison sites, etc. Payout is £6, so you cane see, it takes a fair few mini-surveys to get going.
However, over the past two months it has all gone down hill - they have re-vamped the look of the site but this has not helped and, in my opinion, has made it worse.
As you can post views on many subjects there does seem to be a feeling amongst members that if you are one of those that spend 24/7 on the site, are extremely sycophantic and tell them how good they are, you are the ones likely to receive the pick of what they are pleased to call 'assignments'.
There is a lot of unrest on the site at the moment about the lack of surveys and people being told that 'staff are on holiday' - most, like me, think that most companies have staff cover for holidays - don't they?
All-in-all, I have really gone off this site and, sadly, no longer recommend it.

Viewsbank

January 15, 2021 by Brian from United Kingdom

It is very rare that I can complete a Viewsbank survey. As soon as I type in my age of 75 I am thrown out with the quota full message.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear you are not having a good experience with the surveys.

Our surveys do often have quotas – this is standard practice in Market Research to ensure that our surveys are “nationally representative” of the UK population. For example, a survey may require X% of respondents to be from the 25-34 year old age group, and Y% from the 65+ age group, in order to mirror the approximate split of the UK population. Unfortunately, as our surveys are very popular, some of the quotas do fill up very quickly – I’d recommend checking your assignments page regularly as often the surveys appear there before the emails will reach your inbox, and so sometimes this can help you beat the rush.

I hope this helps a little.

Kind Regards,

Shirley
