One of the better survey sites

March 28, 2024 by Tracey from Canada

I have been using this site for over 10 yrs and some days I get 3 or 4 surveys. The points you receive is fair and redeeming your points is very quick. By the time I have signed out of the site, the gift cards are in my inbox. Highly recommend.

Changed rules/won't pay out

January 23, 2024 by Jenny from Canada

Asked for photo ID/didn't pay rewards
I followed the rules when I signed up and spent hours doing surveys. Often it would take a long time doing qualification surveys that didn't even count towards the points before finding one that worked, but I had earned $40 worth of either Amazon gift card or Visa gift card and was working towards a $50 card instead of cashing it in yet. When I recently tried to sign on, I had a message that my account was frozen unless I submitted a picture of my drivers license and of myself. There was no requirement to put my photo id on the internet when I signed up or I wouldn't have done any of it. They will not give me the rewards that I spent hours to earn. They have taken the benefit of those surveys for nothing. It is not safe to send pictures of photo id onto the internet. I tried to resolve it with the company and they have just decided to suspend my account and the balance. Don't waste your time on this company.

Shame on Web Perspectives

October 23, 2023 by Rob from Canada

UPDATE BELOW
After more than 15 years as a panelist, Web Perspectives is on the decline especially now that they have partnered with a company called Veriff, which they now require you to upload a current and valid Drivers License and will not pay you unless you comply.
Looks like the end is near for Web Perspectives. Up until very recently, I have had virtually no issues with this company. I always received my rewards without any hassles. But all of a sudden, this time when I wanted to collect my reward, they want me to upload my drivers license ID or some other form of Gov. ID. What??? So they have partnered with an outfit called Veriff.
This company will keep your photo ID on file and who knows what else will happen with it. I'll get an email one day saying that there has been a breach and we all know how that story goes. If I would have received a notification within a reasonable amount of time telling me about this HUGE change in collecting the rewards that I worked hard for, maybe I would feel a little less like being taken advantage of. At this point they will not issue MY Gift card unless I comply.
They seriously think that for 20 bucks I will just send in my PHOTO ID. Here is a response from them to me regarding this issue.

"Thank you for contacting Member Support.
Keeping your account information safe and secure is extremely important to us, which is why we’ve partnered with Veriff, a global verification system. During the redemption process, you may be asked to confirm your identity through Veriff by uploading a valid government issued ID and a photo of yourself. Once your account is verified, you can finish the redemption process and will no longer have to go through Veriff again on your next redemptions.
We appreciate your cooperation. Stay safe and have a great day!"

You can't just think that you can take advantage of people without at the very least, notifying them of upcoming changes.
I'm pretty sure that unless they change this policy, Web Perspectives will be a brand of the past.

UPDATE:
Here is an update. I am not entirely sure why, but Web Perspectives reached out to me and told me that they have manually verified my account. So I upped my star rating from 1 to a 3. Before these issues, they were easily a 4 star but now I must hold the line at 3 because of the distress they caused me over this nonsense. But at least they did reach out and that is definitely a plus.

Required to upload ID

July 30, 2023 by Amy from Canada

They now require you upload your ID in order to cashout. They also STORE it. As a victim of fraud I can tell you this is not a good idea. People can steal your information and identity.
