Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Note that rewards will vary slightly by country. For example, Air Miles Reward Miles are available to Canadian members only (receive 50 Air Miles for 100 Opinion Outpost points).

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

This used to be a good company and they paid well until about two years ago. They give you extra long surveys in which you complete half of it then you find out your disqualified. You get private emails telling you that you qualify for a survey and then you find out it met it's quota. There are a lot of glitches and sometimes you don't receive the points for the surveys you take. I've been a member of Opinion Outpost for 10 years and I have yet to win their sweepstakes.

I got a message once I clicked on "take a survey" and it brought me to a different screen saying upon completion of this survey, that I would receive 50 bones points! Onece I clicked the "start" button, the screen changed telling me that I had already taken the survey. So I contacted customer support and they researched, could find no evidence of it! So they offered me 30 points. After waiting a while, I checked my account and they were not present. I asked customer service again, same agent, BTW, and she informed me that no, I would not receive anything.

Other than that I have been a member for years and have had nothing but perfection, and extremely helpful support on the rare chance that there was a problem.

I hope that this is not a sign of service to come.

I started a month ago and it was going really great, I made like 20 dollars a week. I was on every day for hours and tried all surveys until it tells me no more. Recently weird things have been happening that make me so unhappy and disappointed. To begin with, sometimes I take a survey for 40 minutes and just when I am about to end, there's no "next" button or it tells me that I didn't qualify. I did email O.O about this but said they would see what they could do but that they were off on the 4rth of july. They never resolved it or awarded me the points. Some days it simply says there are no surveys for me, I update but still nothing. Yesterday I took a survey for over an hour, yes over an hour. It stated I was a valued member and I would be rewarded 200 points. It was a long, long survey. At the end of the survey it said that I was flagged for data concerns! what! I emailed them, still nothing. on my survey history it doesn't even note that I completed it. Very very unfair. To top it off, today I tried to get a reward for amazon with the 300 points I have but it will not work, the box to put in the points won't show up and when it does, it tells me I need to log in again. It's a cycle that never ends I feel like I have wasted my times, days! such a shame

Opinion Outpost used to be the best. They had multiple surveys available day and night, an easy cashout process, and kind customer support if you needed them. Then they drastically changed and I removed myself from their panel.

Last week I re-joined to give it another shot. My very first survey was one that I qualified for. After answering 15 minutes worth of questions, I was thanked for my time, thanked for COMPLETING the survey, and asked to click the "next" button to be routed back to the homepage to receive my points.

I did that and received a message that unfortunately I didn't qualify for that survey. What? Are you serious? My 1st survey back and I'm told I didn't qualify after 15 minutes of answering questions and just being thanked for completing the survey? I logged out and haven't been back but I'll try again. I hope this isn't an indicator of what's to come.

This was the main problem I had in the past and you never got the points you earned. As soon as that message says you don't qualify, that's it. They'll just keep sending you automated responses about how some ppl don't qualify and you never see your points.

They don't realize ppl know the difference between not qualifying and completing a survey in its entirety, being told you completed it, and THEN being told you didn't qualify when you did.. you're just not getting credit for it. I hope this isn't an indication of things to come so I'll go back again and give it another shot.

this is THE best site out there. payouts are low and if there is ever a problem thier customer service (john) is great at helping to solve it. i am constantly cashing out and have made almost 700.00 in less than a year! i give this site 5 out of 5 stars.

UPDATE; i don't know what happened to this site. mostly screenouts and the payouts per survey is is borderline insulting! best to avoid this site.
