Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. The review left below about Dynata owning multiple survey companies is dead-on accurate. I was booted from One Opinion, E-Rewards, One Opinion and Opinion World in the span of 3 days. I knew something was up when i kept getting the same pre-survey questions as well. Contacting Opinion Outpost's "customer service" did no good even though i have been a member there for probably 8 years, and they gave the usual line about their quality checks bla bla bla. At least One Opinion reinstated my account.

I always got a good amount of surveys, but it did take a long time to earn enough points for a sufficient reward...usually about 4 or 5 months for $50. But their ignorance of the fact that many people belong to multiple survey sites left me with a very negative experience.

At first they were good with the surveys and modest payouts. Shortly afterwards, I would complete some surveys, only for the websites to return 'error' messages ("Unable to record participation…") and then mysteriously lose connections after clicking the last submit button. Needless to say, I would lose all of my earned points and was quite frustrated because some of those surveys took up a lot of time and effort to complete! This became a frequent occurrence.

The final blow came last week when my account was terminated. This was done a few days after I switched IP Service Providers (from AT&T to Infinity). Apparently, they thought that I was using a VPN service and creating/using duplicate accounts.

They give you points for answering the surveys. Most around 85% you never get any points. take months if not years to reach payout. You usually get this response This survey already has enough responses. "We appreciate your efforts! Why not take a new survey."
So if you join don't expect to earn much.

Opinion Outpost has been the one company I trusted fully to do the right thing for the last 5 years since I've been using them. The last few months they are HORRIBLE - no getting back to you regarding failed surveys, no answering calls, giving the run-around when they do answer and NOW I put in for rewards cash in, it failed and no one is getting back to me and I have no avenue to contact them since no one EVER answers the calls. Very disheartened by this change in customer service. If this isn't handled asap, I have no choice but to go elsewhere!

At first i was told 30 points is 3 bucks then when i got 30 points they change on me and said 100 points for q0 bucks cash out .ok so i worked even harder to get the 100 points. then when its time to cash out they tell me my email for paypal is not right. i told them i been having paypal going on 2 years never had a problem getting paid from other companies or games. then it goes to i have to apply for paypal credit card first .ok so i did that then it went to my email again .i been trying to get my 10 cash payout for 3 weeks cant get my money.i even screenshot my account with them and email and points.still giving me the run around.i have seen people say when it time to pay they say its something wrong with paypal. I did everything i was told to do." I JUST WANT MY 10 THATS DUE TO ME . I CAN DO SURVEYS. With no problem but when its time to payout something goes wrong . people beware of them.
