Way too many times have I spent 5-10 minutes on a survey, seemed like i had answered all their possible questions, hit 'send completed survey' and get a response that I don't meet the criteria. With most other survey companies, you will know within 30 seconds if you meet the criteria or not; but with Toluna you can waste 10-15 minutes and then be kicked out. As soon as I get my points, i'm cashing out.

Well I guess I should start out the review with a positive. They do offer plenty of surveys. But at rates frequently less then 2 cents a minute well unless I can hop in a time machine back to 1950, that is a complete waste of time and energy.

Every once in awhile they offer a survey with a legitimate incentive for your time but I never seem to qualify for those or answer 5 minutes worth of questions and suddenly disqualify.

One day I would like to earn enough points to cash out but in all actuality there is probably a far, far greater chance of my being struck by lightning or starting a moon colony. Worst pay rates for surveys ever that I have encountered on the internet in 15 years.

If the comments below haven't put you off signing up with this site then your a fool to yourself. Firstly the incentives are low, so low sometimes it's insulting. 30 minute survey for points that amount to about 30/40p. Secondly, points remain pending for months on end making it hard to cash out. Thirdly, you don't always get your rewards and contacting customer service is often more hassle than it's worth. Finally, your points expire. I have completed survey after survey with this site and just when I fall a little short of redemption some of my points expire. Because some surveys pend for months it means you can never reach redemption. If I ever finally accumulate enough points to cash out a £15 voucher (and it's a big if) then I'm outta here!

Toluna took over another company that was very legit and i liked.They transferred my points,i kept doing surveys and the points added up but then one day all my points were gone.They said i wasn't active but i save all surveys i complete and anything relevant to survey sites.I showed them i was active by sending them confirmations of completed surveys.They never responded back to me.Granted,i didn't do every survey but i did enough to keep active.All those points gone and time gone which i consider time fraud on their part.

They have a 16 month points expiry policy No option to suspend should tou be unable to participate due to ill health for example. Toluna have an available surveys list. Each of these surveys is clearly marked with a reward points total. One can then click any of these surveys to be entered into the screening process. However, most of these surveys will screen out as the quota has been met and the survey is now closed. You are then given the option to take another survey. Beware! They will not credit you with points for any of these surveys unless you note the details and complain. Usually, they just award prize draw entries. Quite a few of these surveys will be classified in your log as a quick survey, for which you get a paltry 15 or 30 points. They also list most of your completed surveys as pending for weeks on end. Obviously hoping some of your points will expire before they award more, thus preventing you from cashing out! Conclusion It's a thinly disguised scam and to be avoided

Toluna has deteriorated drastically! The points for completed surveys are too low. You can spend 15-30 minutes on an item and then be told that you don't qualify. Points that are earned are not credited. There are other, more reputable survey sites. Stay away from this one!!!!

switched to iQuestion which is toluna but they won't respond to any questions even on their facebook page, it appears they are just waiting holding on to my money that i have earned doing their useless surveys until some time frame where they will state use them or lose them. try weshoptalk or tellwut instead they are legit.

Lucky, i only joined this pathetic, gross violator of human "good faith" 2 weeks ago. I was bombarded with surveys, thinking wow, this is good, after all i was going to get paid. I mean look at all these points, I must be making heaps! ... WRONG!!! 3000 points = $1.00Au After 2 weeks i'd scrounged up a whole $2.40Au Plus the pending garbage, (whatever!) Anyway something made me really sus, I done a survey on another site call it "X" and it was worth $10Au to me for about 15 mins, The very next day Toluna invited me to a survey, as it started a logo of site "X" popped up, it was the exact same survey i done the night B4. "X" must have outsourced it to fill the quota? Here is the pisser, Toluna offered 5000 dumbarse points = $1.66Au, That says it all folks, I started "scam hunting" Toluna, and what do you know ... I receive a torrent of surveys from this company, but most are substituted for another because have been withdrawn. Frequently answer about 10 questions before being screened out. The rewards are very, very low. Finally got £25 after years but the Amazon voucher took about 3 months and was not actually sent to my inbox - I had to make yet another enquiry before I could redeem.

3rd Best Survey Panel I've had good experience with. Takes a long time to get enough points to redeem for a check even tho I qualify for alot of them. I have cashed out twice with in two years. It takes a long time to receive a check in the mail but they keep their promise.

Unless you're much luckier than I am, Toluna is not going to work for you.
Just for starters, their e-mails lie about how long the survey will take. It's a continual bait and switch.
And, for the last year or so, should you even happen to qualify for a survey, the level you have to meet to gain anythihng tangible is ridiculous.
I find it impossible that this survey company stays in business.

I have been doing surveys for this company since 2010. The first year it was ok...I was able to cash out about 2 times every month. After 2011 the things were chancing.....points started be lower. Anyways, I continued with them. During 2012 this company "improved" their site look. And the change was dramatically terrible. The surveys are extremely long with extremely low incentive( I'm talking about 20 cents for 40 minutes survey). In addition, this company is popular by closing accounts to their members without consistent reasons. Anyways, they try to find any reason to close the account they want. If your account is selected, well...bad luck to you. Now I can cash out only like once every months. Each check takes about 8 weeks to be received. What more can I say....quotas full in just minutes, survey errors. This is the worst survey site in history.

I belong to this site for many years and was able to cash out often. They changed over the past 1-2 years and increased threshold for cash out by two fold.Qualifying is hard now and they delete points not used w/in a year of receiving, if I cant qualify much how can I get enough points to cash out. I want cash not facebook credits which is the lowest gift.

Have to have 60,000 points to cash out. If you don't cash out in a given time period you loose accumulated points. Good luck getting there. 95% of surveys offer less than 3000 points (1$) for a 20-30 minute survey. Disqualified 90% of the time anyway. I dumped them after finding out I lost 16,000 points because I didn't cash out. The thing is I couldn't cash out because I had only accumulated 38,000 points. Stay away from these crooks.

Toluna is far from he best panel, but also far from the worst. It's a survey 'broker', not an actual research company. Many survey invites with frequent screenouts & "redirects"; many surveys are repetetive. The "sponsored" mini-surveys have small point values, but are automatic & do add up. I keep track of completed surveys by date & number & check point balance a couple of times a week. Customer service for errors is slow & varies in effectiveness. Check payments usually arrive in about 3 weeks.

Move on guys - do not waste your time with Toluna. Pay is pants (if you ever get to that point) and the surveys, well you're usually screened out after 20 mintues of prelim questions. lol. Complete waste of time!

I was awarded gifties, I order September 21,2012. I still have not received December 6, 2012. Tried to contact, but, impossible to get in touch with anybody. I thought it was hard to believe, I think I'm Right. Toluna still sends survey, I'm not doing any more until they send me my gifts. Sad

Keep telling me my points "expired". but I know that's not true, because a friend of mine is on the panel & she never, in over 3 years, ever had points deducted. Withing 2 months, I've had over 40,000 points deducted, needless to say, I deactivated my account!

Many times when I'm offered a survey to take for a certain incentive amount, I'll click the start link, and the incentive amount will be lower than previously stated. Or the time it takes to complete survey is very often is 3-4 times longer than was stated originally!

For the over a two years, I have been unable to take surveys from this company. Every time I have tried to take a survey, I am led to a page address from the link that just keeps trying to load abut never reveals a page for the survey that the link is supposed to take me to in order to take a survey. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and never got a response to help me. Many of my points have expired during the process. I am frustrated to the point of wanting to cancel my membership with them since I have started wondering if they are really legitimate.

These guys are scammers. Avoid them like the plague. After literally YEARS of dedicated service they closed my account without any notification. When pressed for a reason they fabricated data indicating that I provided fraudulent responses to surveys, when I did no such thing. Terrible, nasty, evil company. Do not give them any business.

Even though you complete many of their surveys, they say you completed it, but you never get paid. Half the time you win, half the time you lose. I HATE wasting my time with these people when they don't pay a lousy 80 cents.

We all know how much work it takes to get anything out of Toluna. Once they introduced the Facebook credit redemption I was a little excited. I redeemed my points for credits.
Once I got the code to enter into yet another 3rd-party website I tried to use it and kept receiving the same message that it was an invalid code.
I contacted Toluna customer support and they did nothing more than apologize and ask me to keep trying. I replied that it wasn't working and never heard back from them. Now my points are gone and the code has long since expired.

I think Toluna are one of the worst. I've had numerous problems (screened out 90% through, payment taking 6 weeks, etc), but the last one has made me close my account.

I've been hovering on 70,000 points since late July- I took a 5 surveys that would have taken me over the 80,000 point mark so I could redeem. However, it's taken over 7 weeks for them to credit me and in the meanwhile, 20,000 points have expired.

I saw the expiration deadline coming, and they didn't actually respond to my question- just gave the usually guff that they cut and paste. Maybe it's the cynic in me, but having all 5 surveys taking over 7 weeks (and counting) to credit just seems a bit fishy to me.

I take surveys with about 8 sites, and Toluna is the worst. In 4 years, I've only managed to one £15 voucher. I'm closing my account now.

Toluna is beyond terrible. Why are they so terrible you might ask? I just did a political survey, took my time, answered all the questions with legit answers only to get disqualified after entering the validation code at the end of the survey. Toluna needs to be shut down.

You get lots of invites, but very seldom qualify. The threshold for cashing in points is way too high and they cheat you out of points you earn. I have completed at least 6 two-part surveys where you are supposed to get 6000 points for the first part and 15000 for the second. I would receive the 6000, but was never credited for the 15000 unless I saved the survey number, waited the 8 weeks they require, emailed them multiple times, got back excuses for another 4 weeks, and finally received credit without any notice or further contact (sour grapes?) I quit them with over 30000 points still in my account and another 30000 owing. They just aren't worth the time.

I have been w/ Toluna 4 years now.
I was happy with them in the past. Survey offers frequent, qualified for most, incentives fair, didn't take long to reach payouts. Payouts quick to arrive.
Looking at the offers from Toluna now, I am disgusted at the incentives for very long surveys. 1200 pts for 30 mins?

I get the occasional better offers - which I have successfully completed at least 8-9 in this past week.

Today I went into my pending survey points and am horrified to find that I only have 2 pending surveys that they plan on paying me for. All the rest have sweepstakes entries noted as a 'reward'.

What happened today was the last straw. I took about four surveys, two of them waited until the last question to decide that I wasn't what they were looking for. The LAST question. They couldn't figure out they didn't want me before I spent 30 mins on each survey? The LAST question and sorry we're not looking for you. You asked me about 75 questions each, I pass 74, and then on 75 I'm not what you're looking for? Wow, I just wasted an hour! It wasn't even questions on the actual topic that screened me out, they asked me how much I make and I guess they didn't like it. Why save this question for last if it can disqualify you?

As many others have said, Toluna does alot of bait and switching w surveys, I think I am take a survey worth X pts and find out I get Y. They list ur pending surveys completed, but not point value...hmmm...Havent had problems w cashing out, and when I called them out on surveys I thought I should have been awarded more points they gave them to me. I think they are borderline shady, but will bend if you complain. Not my favorite site to take surveys because I seldom qualify and points awarded are weak.

Greenfield was a half way decent site at one time and your2cents was worth the time spent dealing with them.
But since both became part of Toluna it's nothing but a scam. Very low incentive,takes forever to reach payout then forever to get check.
I stopped dealing with them directly but still run across their surveys from other sites where though still small the incentive is usually higher than when done on their site.

Just another one of those "partner" sites now,you know the ones who send you to their partner and when you check the URL you'll see at least one other partner was involved in taking incentive money before the survey even reached you.
In other words you get squat while they rake it in with your hard work and time invested.

I've been a member for a decade. I used to like Greenfield, but I can't stand Toluna. Points take forever to be rewarded (if they get added at all). They don't pay well per survey (1300-1600 points usually) and you need 60,000 points to cash out $20. I have been getting disqualified a lot more frequently, so it's going to take me until the end of the year to cash out! That's just a guess, but it seems likely. As soon as I am able to cash out I am going to cancel my membership. The surveys are boring and about things I don't care about at all. That wouldn't matter if they paid better, but it is what it is. I am very unhappy with this site.

Toluna will fill your inbox with surveys in a heartbeat. You will qualify for less than 10% of those. It takes 60,000 points to earn $20! I'm going to quit Toluna as soon as I hit 60k. I just can't handle the email overload anymore! If you have a massive amount of time and patience join up! They pay out eventually...

It takes way to long to earn enough points to cash out,and some of the surveys are way too long for the small amount of points you get.

They send me surveys that take up to a half hour to a hour to do, and once complete, they claim it takes up to 6 weeks to receive my points.. Really?? All the other panels I receive my points right away, so why the wait? Until I see points show up in my account, I don't trust this site for one bit.

This is another one of the companies that ask you what amounts to a full survey as part of the screener process then tell you that you do not qualify after getting your answers for free. Disgusting.

this is the WORST panel I've been with. I'm a member of 10 panels and make $150-$250 per month. A screener should NEVER be more than 5 mins, and a surveys should NEVER pay less than 5cents per min.Most of my survey panels pay 10 cents per min and I RARELY take the 5 cent pr min surveys.Gotta be at least 7cents pr min before I take them. This panel is completely ripping ppl off and yes I get 10-15 product test per year and get PAID for testing them and get to keep them. You ppl who are PRAISING them apparently don't know any better.

They publish the full names of members on the internet for self-promotion in violation of member privacy. They pay the lowest rates of any site. Surveys take longer than estimated, are usually boring, and you get screened out after many questions. Points take well over 1 month to show up & often expire before you collect enough to redeem or fail to show up at all. Complaints are often get no response. Vouchers usually take 2 months to show up. I've had to wait as long as 4 months. Members have often been deleted and their points forfeited for making legit complaints. Their boards are full of trolls and clones but they censor people expressing legit opinions. One member boasted of lying to qualify, eg listing himself as having one child of every age. So much for quality control for their customers.

Toluna is by far the WORST site that I have personally tried. I have completed at least a dozen surveys over the past few months and did not receive credit for a single one. I will never deal with them again. They are dishonest crooks and liars. Spend your time on a site that is fair and honest. There are plenty of good ones out there. Stay away from Toluna.

They send surveys for 20 cents, when you click on the survey they tell you an amount of points, and when you finish the survey the survey disappear from your points page and instead of points you receive sweepstakes entries and this means no pay. I completed 5 surveys and none of these were credited to my account. This is happening everyday with any survey you take, 4 surveys today, 3 tomorrow, and they aren't crediting the points. So, if you are the person who likes to waste time join this website.

I too have problems with this company screen out too many times in middle of surveys. I have just completed a survey for 3000pts submitted it but when I checked my account found out Ihad been entered into a prize draw yet again. I am often unable to contact them through there site 'contact us' I get put through to page that says click here to make contact but I get put through to a blank email page. On the occassions when you do get through you are asked to put in the survey link which a very long combination of letters and numbers and is hard to read from their email.I've had enough going to get enough points to cash in then I'm out Too many prize entry draws for me about 1 in 25 surveys I get paid for I have earned £30 in 8 months but loads of prize entries there's better sites around that are realy easy too contact and resolve your problems quickly and efficiently

Frequents screen outs, often after spending a lot of time on qualifiers, or even after having completed most of a survey. I had gotten in the habit of saving up my survey rewards and lost $70 not noting their one year expiration policy. Now i'm careful to redeem as soon as i meet the $20 minimum required for a check - which takes about four weeks.

I find that I test out of more surveys with this company but they do pay out once you get enough points. As you get a check it takes a bit longer to get the money than the others that use Pay Pal but still worth it.

this is the worst site of all in my opinion never had rewards off them. i told them i wanted to quit the site, they still send me surveys after months of telling that.

Toluna is not as good as before the change of hands. They send surveys that don't pay much and take a lot of time and expect you to be excited about it. I recently received a survey invite that said: "Passionate about 2,500 points, survey length 45 minutes" Well that amounts to 66 cents. I don't do surveys that pay pennies for 30, 45 minutes. Toulnas point system requires 60,000 points to cash out at $20.00, 3,000 points = $1.00. 1,000 points equal 33cents and I don't want to spend my mind trying to figure how many pennies are in 15 points. So don't be fooled by their points

I have been with them a couple of years and have still NOT gotten any of my points credited.It always tells me to update my profile and email send to me,But I never get anything to confirm my account,yet I am getting surveys from them,I just can't do any of them.Emailed them many times,but it still is isn't fixed.I give up,not worth my time.

Your 2 Cents rocked. Greenfield sucked. Put them together with Toluna and you get s**t. Tried for YEARS to earn money and could never get enough points. I have been with Toluna for two years and is one of my favorites because it works. As in any panel to get the points is a kind of slow but Toluna pays fast and in an easy way, besides they have other options to get the points like the sponsored surveys that give 15 or 30 points just to answer a simple question. You won't get rich doing surveys but you'll get some extra money. I am in other pannels and I hate some of them, so belive me when I say Toluna is good.

Avoid at all costs! So far (and I started in NOV 2011), I've attempted approximately 50 Toluna surveys...and have qualified (AFTER 20-25 minutes of so-called "pre-screening" questions) for exactly ONE (count them: 1) survey! It's a SCAM designed to get yer responses without paying either YOU or the company ordering the survey! Total 100% rip-off!

Apart from taking ages to make anything, you get filtered out of most of the surveys even if they send them to you via email (one's that they believe you fit the criteria for).
Some of the surveys are a scam as in one instance I completed the full survey only to be sent to the final screen where you have to input a security code. My security code image was not showing (instead showing an icon that appears when an image is offline) and therefore was not credited.

I usually only answer the quick opinion polls on the home page. You get 15, 30, 45, 60 points for each one that takes only 15 seconds. I must take 15 of those a day. You also can register to be a tester for certain products. I've tested quite a few and got paid and got to keep the product.

While Toluna does have longer than normal surveys, and quite a few that I do not qualify for, they make up in the fact that they send out alot of invitations. I happen to like them, but I have not received anything from them yet as far as incentatives go. I actually just cashed out for a check, so we will see how it goes.

Because they pay you in points instead of money it is hard to gauge whether they pay well, but judging by the fact I get about 4 surveys a day and am still nowhere near enough points after 6 months to get a small money token I think it's safe to say they don't pay well.
They take for ever to credit your account with points, in the hope you forget which ones you completed. When I asked why I was still waiting to be credited for a survey I completed 2 months ago they told me I timed out after 6 minutes. But in fairness they credited me as a good will gesture....they probably didn't expect somebody to keep their own detailed record!
Also, be careful. They invite you to a survey that pays 4000 points for 10 minutes, but when you start, it actually pays 1500 points for 25 minutes. Sneaky.
I will probably drop this lot when I eventually get paid out.

I have been participating in online surveys for 5 years. I hold a graduate degree in pyschology. I have been trained to administer and interpret various psychological tests; consequently, this specialized university training combined with years of experience provides me with a little more insight than the average bear when it comes to understanding surveys. Considering the limited depth of the information most surveys are trying to obtain from paticipants, it does not have to take 30+ minutes to determine whether someone is appropriate for a survey. Toluna is full of ..... and/or they have idiots writing their survey.

I belong to several survey sites. I signed up for Toluna only a few weeks ago and although I have received numerous surveys from them, I have yet to finish an entire survey.

You see, I have routinely spent upwards of 25-30 minutes per survey, only to be told I don't qualify. At first, I thought it was just that they weren't looking for someone in my demographic. But then it happened again...and again....and again. After my 5th survey with them, I was starting to get a little ticked off because I wasn't being disqualified after the first few questions. I was being disqualified at the END of the survey. How can I not be qualified???? I have already answered 99%- 100% of the questions (as evidenced by the percentage bar).

I seem to be among the unfortunately too few to have had good experiences with Toluna. I guess the people who have had poor experiencse have had too good expectations for them. I was with Your 2Cents before Toluna bought them and while I liked getting paid by Your 2 cents frequently, Toluna could be much worse. I was able to choose the incentives I wanted and I did receive them in a timely manner. It only took approximately four weeks to receive my most recent payment. I average doing a few surveys a month with them, but they are consistent and I do not get mad if I am screened out of one, or I am too late to take one. My suggestion is have some patience with Toluna and make sure your profile is filled out accruately. You will get rewarded in due time.

After reading some of the reviews I was kind of nervous to try them out, but I gave them the benfit of the doubt and signed up. I receive invitations to take surveys almost every day and have aready racked up a decent amount of points. Will cash out next month! The incentives are okay, but all I really want is cash anyway! Definitely recommend it1

I started to take a survey that had a point incentive but I was re-routed so many times, I ended up taking a 90 minute interactive survey for a simple prize draw!! I am furious this was not stated at the start of the survey and it is utterly ridiculous for these panels to think any of us are here for free!! I hate this site!! Freaking rip off artists is all they are!!

Toluna was a top money maker for me if not a Well paying site, Over the last 8 months the errors and sweeps were mostly things of the past, now though Their incentives have hit new lows, the sweepstake only surveys are back, as are the errors that prevent crediting incentives, They take forever to mail your check and often and at least a couple of times haven't sent it. I'd avoid this company they're as crooked as a $3.00 bill

I have mixed feelings about Toluna. They DO pay and they are definitely legitimate. I even won a $250 monthly sweepstakes once (you cash it out like regular earnings and unfortunately I couldn't cash out the whole amount at one time, had to cash out $240 and then lump the other $10 with other earnings to cash out at $20).

I don't qualify for lots of their surveys, but they send so many I'm actually kind of glad about that. I like that you can earn small amounts of points for answering poll questions. It's sometimes more work than I'm willing to put forth and I pass on the smaller amount surveys frequently and try and qualify for bigger ones only when I have the time to really devote to it. It isn't bad for a stick-around site, but it isn't my #1 favorite or anything.

I love Toluna. It is one of my top 5 survey sites. I like the social aspect of Toluna with all the polls and opinions. I had been just taking the sponsored polls, but I've gone in and read more about how the social points system works and I've started posting my own polls and opinions. I can't wait until the end of the month now to see how many points I will start getting for the polls and opinions as well as for all the surveys that I've been qualifying for and taking. It seems as though as soon as I receive one $20 check, I've already got 1 or 2 more payouts processing. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get the checks. So, you just have to keep going back and visiting Toluna to see if there is more you can do there. They don't send emails to you very often. So you have to check on their site more.

They send a ton of invites. Most are for a measly 60 cents. These I just ignore, but they also send some of the highest paying surveys. Just completed a $30.00 survey from them. I received credit for it, no problem. They paid to PayPal within a few days.

I haven't had any problems with Toluna.In fact it's in my top 3 favorite's.Yes..sometimes screenouts happen far into a survey.It happens with other company's as well.Such as Global Test Market.

Toluna points rack up fairly quick.As they will keep handing you survey's one after another.Instead of a limit of say 1 to 4 per day.

I just cashed out my point's and received my check of 80.00 in a decent amount of time about 4 to 6 weeks.

I read through these reviews and this company really is a 50-50... you take a chance...one survey I qualify for, then next three I won't. The ones I get don't seem to have much to do with my profile. The one they denied my payment, was one they asked my son to take, then said answers weren't legit so they're not giving HIM his $2. Customer service is greatly lacking in response time and adequate resolution.

One of the lowest reward surveyors I've run across. Got to be pretty desperate to waste that much time on these surveys.

I joined December 1st and I've already been paid twice. One $20 check and two $10 gift cards.

I haven't had any issues with spending a long while on a survey just to be told that I've screened out, but I've been screened out of quite a few within 5 minutes.

I tend to do my surveys ASAP so I guess I'm lucky! When I do at least a survey a day, I earn more than $20 a month, which is the minimum amount for payout.

I have been a member since '07 with Your 2 Cents. Toluna surveys are very hard to qualify for and then the incentives you receive are shameful. It got to the point that I never qualified for a survey so I had to earn all my remaining points by doing sponsored questions. And I finally earned 60,000 points to cash out and I have received my check and I am OUT of there. So very glad to be free of this survey site. I would discourage anyone from joining Toluna.

I became a member of Your2Cents in 2003 and stuck with the panel when they became Toluna in 2009. I really much preferred the clear dollar amounts that Your2Cents provided as incentives instead of the points Toluna offers as it's not intuitive to think 3,000 points is the equivalent of $1. When I contact customer service about survey incentive or payment problems, sometimes they're great. I filed 3 inquiries in December 2010 and they were all responded to in a timely fashion. However, I currently have 2 inquiries on file for January 2011, one of which has been pending for over 2 weeks, and I have yet to get a response. It's really frustrating, especially as in the past two week, I have taken at least 2 surveys, gotten all the way to the end after 15-20 minutes, and then am told that "I do not qualify" and will only receive a lousy sweepstakes entry. I understand that survey panels have to screen people, but a 10+ minute screening process is absurd.

I recomend, ONLY if you are really patient. About a half a year ago they overtook the best panel, I was a member of: Ciao. After that sad incident, they haven't worked actually for about two months. E-mails havn't been answears, payments havn't been made and surveys didn't worked mostly. After that time, it turned a bit better, but I feel treated unfair: I haven't been provided with any information, regarding my pending rewards from Ciao, that were souposed to be paid by Toluna. Some of them were, but I don't know, how many were not. And Ciao was paying with cash via PayPal, while Toluna gives you only some vouchers...

Most of the surveys kick you out after you spend 15 minutes doing them, the points system is awful, the only reason that I still have an account is to be a tester, right now they are offering people to test the Xbox 360 with Kinect... So, if you are REALLY bored, i guess

This site took many months to provide credit for poll and opinion topic postings that were to be credited monthly, then did not follow through with promised resolution dates. They communicate poorly with members about such issues. They failed to honor a date promised in a BBB complaint resolution. Strongly suggest not to join this site.

This has been a great site for me, lots of surveys (qualify for about half). Average about $40 a month.
No real complaints, would recommend.

I'm 8 months pregnant and not working, so I had the free time to waste on their lengthy surveys. They give time estimates before you take the survey (usually 5-30 minutes to complete), and even the 5 minute surveys take 15 minutes or more to complete. Who estimated these times, I wonder?

I also got disqualified by my age, location and/or income about 60% of the time after taking their very long and boring surveys and being very near the end. However, the surveys I did qualify for were all worth at least 1,000 points, so in about a week and a half I cashed out for $20. In roughly 4 weeks I'll actually get that check. I wish they used Paypal.

All in all, they do pay, but they waste a LOT of your time with surveys that are supposed to be fast to complete. Also, if you didn't know, you get points for taking their sponsored polls too -- and some of those polls lead to surveys, which equals more points.

This is really disgusting. I just spent a half hour really trying to do my best, having to check what's in my kitchen, the ounces, when I bought the product and then I was disqualified. They WANT honest answers, I had a lot of the product they were asking about. What's the problem? This happens often with them but a half hour?? And I type fast! This is grossly unfair.

For the few surveys I qualify for & complete with Toluna, there have been several where I did not receive the incentive. After this started happening too many times, I started keeping track of the surveys I completed, so I could put in a request for the points. It takes weeks to hear back and most requests are denied. It also takes weeks for the incentives to be posted. I can hardly wait to get to the next cash-out level, receive my check (which also takes weeks to come) & cancel my account!

I've been with them for 9 months, I love how many survey opportunities that you get with Toluna but I still have serious issues with them.

First off their rewards right now are horrendous. Most surveys offer $.40 for 15-25 minutes of your time. Even then I don't qualify for quite a few. I've had a breakdown of roughly:
65% Don't qualify
20% Qualify and get paid
15% Make it to the end of survey and have something go wrong/says you don't qualify

It gets very frustrating very quickly. Even though it may take a while to have it credited they are reliable on payment, but its way too much work for so little money and a good amount of migraines. If I wasn't as desperate as I am I would probably leave and once things get better they'll probably be one of the first survey sites I cut loose.

I don't know what people are complaining about, I get into most survey's and just for the month of July I have completed 200+ surveys out of a possible 328 (I didn't get into the rest) I have cashed out 5 times during the month of July for $20 each time! This company is awesome!

Even though they've quit paying by Paypal and pay by check instead, the checks I have gotten get here fairly quickly. Before you know it, it's time to cashout again. I really like Toluna so far.

I got another typical invite from Toluna. Spend 30 minutes for 900 points. Do the math. It takes 3000 points for $1.00. When it was My 2 Cents it was a decent company. Now it just is insulting. Customer service is a form letter that is sent out 3 weeks later. And if your not credited for a survey it's "Oh, Well" It is quite common to spend 20 minutes in a 30 minute survey just to be told "Unfortunately you do not qualify..."
And this so called family site has some members pics that are nudes and graphic. This appears in the Recently Active Members Area on your home page. No joke so beware if you have chidren!
As for their policy to pay when you respond to member polls you'll get people who write blah blah blah 80 times and get points for it! No quality control.
I am a few points from payout then CANCEL!

2 Cents was one of my favorite survey sites.

I had just gotten free of Greenfield and closed my account with them when they merged with Toluna. Now I'm living the nightmare again.

Doubling the payout threshold was a slap in the face. At the piss poor reward scale Toluna uses now, it's gonna take years.

To all prospective panelists: Run! Run far away!

I have been a member since 2/13/10 and have cashed out twice for a total of $40.00. I need 3,000 more points to cash out again for a total of $60.00, which I should get within the next 3 or 4 days. If you use paypal you get your money within 4 to 5 business days. There are some surveys that you don't get credit for, I think it's because the company who you did the survey for didn't think you were honest or didn't take time to read it throughly. Overall, you get credit for at least 98% of them. You need 60,000 points for $20.00 but they aren't that hard to get. You get 99 points by making 80 word comments to others topics. If you get 20 comments to your topic you get 500. I'm totally satisfied with them and the extra money is great.

Besides paying peanuts for their surveys they cheat you on the points. I COMPLTED an interactive survey for which I spent over an hour and was never compensated. It took literally weeks for 'customer service' to respond to me and then they had the nerve to tell me I did not qualify. After I initially qualified they sent me multiple e-mails to take the survey. They let me complete the survey but I was 'unqualified'. Save your time and energy and cross these loosers off your list.

If you insist on taking surveys from this company for the insanely low payouts - literally pennies, track everything. Even then they will fight your BBB complaint using outright lies. They will say anything to avoid paying you the pennies you earned. When they credit you money it will magically disappear from your account a few weeks or a month later - and you have to PROVE it was ever there.

Takes about 6 weeks to get credit for one survey!

I haven't seen anyone mention this from the FAQ.

Do points have to be used within a certain time limit?
Yes. When points are credited to your account they will remain valid for one year. If after this period the points have not been used, they will be automatically expire and be deleted from your account.


I will be cancelling my membership soon, as I've only earned points from the old site, Your2Cents. I emailed Toluna to ask about the sweeps entries for points that I heard about, and they have not replied. They don't have a phone number on their site either, and after hearing about all the technical problems that prevent surveys from crediting points, I don't feel like wasting time taking surveys when I can't call and discuss the problems with them.

I was with Greenfield and I liked them! Good customer service. Good cash incentives. Good pay out threshold. Got credited for surveys real quick. Then they teamed up with Toluna and now it has gone to shit!

Cash incentives are just plain redicouls! Most are 900 points, with a 60,000 points for $20.00, that 900 points only comes to about 30 cents for 15-40 minute surveys. For the ones that pay 3000+ points you hardly ever get approved for! Takes about 6 weeks to get credit for one! They don't have any Customer Service representatives working there, the "Contact Us" like is just a scam! I have several surveys that never got credit for, been waiting on a response from Customer Services reps, for about 2 mounths with no responses! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, IT IS A SCAM!

What happens when you combine two companies with shady business practices? You get one company that will rob you blind. The new point is a joke, lucky for them most survey takers do not understand how math works and have not realized they were just paid 27 cents (900 points) for that 45 minute survey That is assuming you get credited at all, which is not likely. Look at the ratings for this company and AVOID. Sign up at any of the 50 legit companies and put this one out of its misery.

When you reach the payment threshold they will deposit to PayPal 1 time a week so you arn't waiting forever like Surveyhead (3 months)! They have mergered with Greenfield (formerly My 2 Cents) and the growing pains are over so they run smoothly. You can submit your own surveys in their community and even link them to your social networking sites. You can also create your own opinion topics for people to just voice their opinions. If they are on Social Issues you may even be paid points (toward your payments) if your survey qualifies. Great network and great company!

I had 60,000 points in my account. I tried to cash it out to my Paypal account. They said the payment was sent but I never got it. I tried to contact them for 3 weeks but no response. I will not waste my time with this company again.

Toluna used to be a fun, interesting survey site. Since teaming up with Greenfield, it has become a frustrating experience. I believe the survey takers are being taken!!!

I just cashed out last wed, 300,000 points or $100.00 and its now sitting in my paypal account. However, they do not credit the points as quickly as they did when it was just Toluna, and I never qualified for greenfield's surverys anyway. So far for me no major problems.

WARNING! - QUITE OFTEN THEY SKIP OUT ON PAYING YOU! After you've completed the last question on the survey, and they have colllected all of the information, an "ERROR" message will come up on the screen, and they pretend like something has gone wrong with the web site. This way, they have an excuse not to pay you! Toluna is well known for this! -- BEWARE!

They have a new site now, where Toluna and Greenfield have become one.

They constantly send me surveys to take and I never qualify. Ugh, it seems like a total waste of time, I just sit there trying to qualify for surveys over and over again and never make any money. They send me tons of surveys to try to qualify for and it says they're worth sooo many points, but I never get the points because I don't qualify. I think I'm going to just ignore them from now on...

I was duped into thinking Toluna was an ok site-yet recently they've made a turn for the worse. They converted to a higher payout level 60,000 points for $20. Good luck qualifying for any of those surveys. Also, if you're lucky enough to reach the payout level-it takes literally months to receive the check. Also, Greenfield merged with them-and Toluna didn't credit my account for the balance I had w/ them. All in all-they're getting worse by the minute.

I've been a member of Toluna for a while now and while it can be frustrating waiting for rewards to post, I have always been paid for the surveys I've taken. It takes a while to get paid but eventually you do get paid. I'm hopeful that some of the recent changes will make it easier to get paid and I definitely like the community aspect of their site. It's not perfect by any means but generally I find it worth my time.

I was offered a survey and the payment is a stunning 27 (900 points) cents for 10 minutes. With a minimum payout of $20, I will have died of old age before accumulating enough points for a cheque...assuming the don't lose my cash out request, sell out to another company or raise the cashout level again.

Frankly, you can make more money with less effort by collecting cans

All seemed to be going fine until I reached the required points to cash out. My check is now 2 weeks past Toluna's projected delivery date, and I have now completed 19 surveys that have not been credited!!! I mean FULLY COMPLETED, from beginning to end, only to reach the last page and get some bogus THANK YOU BUT THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A SPECIFIC DEMOGRAPHIC. Some of those surveys were over 20 minutes long, too. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! Customer service is NON-EXISTENT, so there's no real recourse. So I'm singing it at the top of my lungs STEER CLEAR of Toluna!!!!

I have had 57000 pts in my account when Toluna took over. For months I have been trying to reach 60000 pts to cash out. What a waste of time. I have completed 3 surveys (within 2 months) and never seen credit for them. The sad part is, customer service does not respond.

Where do I start? It was bad enough, but now, Toluna has partnered w/ Greenfield. I have had problems with surveys from Toluna, when you get to the end suddenly you get an ERROR message. Sure you do, they have gleaned you for all the necessary information at that point. Today I stupidly took another survey from the "new Toluna/Greenfield , finished the survey, got a screen that said "Those are all the questions we have for you today. Thank you Again for taking part in our survey. Click the NEXT button to submit your answers".
I clicked Submit. And then Toluna gives me a screen saying the quota had been met. So they won't have
to pay me for my time.

I have been a member of Toluna for only a short while..I have been a member of Microsoft's GreenfieldOnline,alot longer!It broke my heart to find out that Toluna bought Greenfiel!Alot of the changes that Toluna has made is due to this fact..It will take you longer to cashout,and even longer to get the 60,000 points.Once you have the points to cashout..you have to wait almost 2 months to get paid!Greenfield is in a class of it's on,and I hate this merger happened!I am going to close my account with Toluna..All the surveys they send now,I never qualify for.It has gotten to the point now,I do not even open them,but send them to my trash filter!

Now with this 60,000 points = #20 bit, no thank you. Sorry to see Greenfield become part of them. Greenfield is an excellent company, but becoming part of Toluna...sad.

This company is full of it. I have been signed up with them for a couple of months now and not once have I received a survey invite from them.

Ever since the switch to Toluna a few months ago, I've qualified for TWO surveys! Two frickin surveys in 3-5 months. Luckily I still had a decent amount of money when the switch came so now I can cash out for $60. Once I get my check in a few months, I'm unsubscribing.

I'm pretty ticked off. Not only do I rarely qualify for any of their surveys, but they tell me when I'm well through it and have spent much time typing and trying to give them good honest responses. When the survey should near complete, I'm told, "we're sorry but you do not qualify".

I would not recommend Toluna because of the outstanding money that is owed to me for completing 15 surveys all the way back from August of 2009 till November 2009. Their customer service is non-existent and therefore they are not Trustworthy.

I would avoid this company to save yourself a headache. As of lately a bunch of bogus error screens pop up at the end of surveys. One even says in 3 weeks you will see your reward in your account but the points never show up. Customer Service is non existent..

1)Credit about 1 of 5 completed surveys, even you have confirmation page and number.
2)Never credit for "refer a friends" (at least in my case)
3)8 of 10 surveys can't be completed because of some kind ERROR in links
4)The worst - NEVER REPLIES TO YOUR INQUIRIES, or replies with stupid generic answer not related to your inquiry.

Toluna is a total waste of time. Their invitations say $1-$3 but when you complete a long cumbersome survey you are lucky if you get the $1. I get messages "due to a technical problem we cannot credit your reward at this time". Problem is you never get it. The cashout amount is 30,000 points for a measley $10. It takes 2+ months to receive a check. I have e-mailed customer service and have never received a response. Don't waste your time with this one.

Now downgraded to Toluna a frivolous survey company, previously Your 2 Cents. A conduit for OTX & Greenfield. Usually receive 3000 points ($1) for lengthy exhausting surveys & many no points because upon submission receive message technical difficulties. To add insult to injury they have raised cash out from 30,000 points ($10) to 60,000 points ($20). Need to complete very lengthy tedious surveys at $1 each (worth much more) & also anticipate many no point surveys with technical difficulty. Not worth it. I am trying to reach cash out as I have 30,000 points. You can redeem 45,000 points ($15) for a VISA but they deduct $2 so you net $13. I resent unsubscribing now with no reward but I may because too frustrating.

good when it was 2 cents, not great. maybe qualify1 out of 5 times tok forever to verify your earnings what once they did paypal fast. i wrote and said a comment about not going to paid for a survey and they dropped me

When Y2C first opened, they were great. Paid well, good quantity of surveys, and a bit slow on the payout, but still fair. Now, they collect all your data and then disqualify you at the end so they don't have to pay. This happens 9 out of 10 times. If you DO get rewarded, you may never see the check until next year.... AVOID THIS SITE. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.

Your 2 Cents (now Toluna) USED to send me a decent number of surveys (5-7 a month). Since they have become Toluna, I haven't received a single survey, even though all my profiles are complete. I suspect it is due to my balance being $56+. I'm going to request my check, wait for 2 months to get it, and quit wasting my time with these folks.

Three months to wait for $10. You may get a reply if you're lucky and usually amounts to no results in your favor. After they gain all the demographics you're told you don't qualify. I spent 20 minutes on one survey and just when i was ready to submit it I was told I didn't qualify for it.

Your 2 cents which was bad enough was taken over by some crap company named Toluna and as if waiting 3 months or more isnt bad enough for 10 bucks you get error messages most of the time AFTER you complete a survey..if youre lucky enough to qualify. You email them regarding this error and they do NOTHING whatsoever to compensate the time you wasted. As soon (HA!) as I get my next check in this century..Im outta here!!

This survey group was taken over by Toluna and the experience has been terrible. When you try to take a paid survey, you might spend 15 minutes or more answering questions only to be told you do not qualify for the survey. Plus, when you request payment they take up to three months to pay you!! Avoid this survey group. You'll be glad you took my advice.

It's kind of hard to qualify for their surveys and the incentive isn't that great. I cashed out $10 twice and it took FOREVER FOR THE PAYMENT TO COME. But what annoyed me most was that the first time I cashed out they said I would receive that check in 6 weeks and then I had enough money to cash out 2 days later and then they said I would get that check in 8 weeks. Why wait longer when they're 2 days apart? Sheesh. But anyway, I got them.

Well once I stopped doing the surveys, I finally got paid 4 months later.

The 2 cents is not bad if you like waiting forever to get paid. I cashed in 20 dollars worth and almost 2 months later I finally got paid. I have tried contacting it does no good. Decent site just understand it takes a long long time to get the money. Maybe they will switch to pay pal and improve the site who knows. I have been a member almost 8 month and have made about 130 bucks not as good as some but better than a lot.

I only recommended it because I do get surveys quite frequently. However, when you cashout, your check stays pending for a very long time. I have cashed out once, have not been paid yet, and almost have enough to cash out again. I'm going to see if I eventually get paid, and then I'll rate it again.

Your2cents is a thing of the past. They have been taken over by a company called Toluna.
Automated replies to your questions, but when actual response comes, still no straight forward answer.
New site is somewhat hideous, somewhat like a forum. Check for cookies after visiting, or better yet stay away from them altogether.

I requested payment on April 24th. It has been over eight weeks and I am still waiting. Called them a little over a week ago and was told 8 weeks is their policy and that I would have by the 19th of June. Since I didn't receive it then, I called back and was told actually this week was the eighth week. I told them that they are the only survey that takes that long to send payment and that was not a good way to keep panelists. Especially since I requested payment from another company the same time and I received that payment over a month ago. They don't really seem to care if I stay or leave. I will be leaving them as soon as I receive my payments. Complete waste of time. Almost impossible to qualify for surveys and when I do, a lousy $1.00 a survey is mostly what I end up with?

I have requested 2 checks now with this panel. Both still state they are "pending" and one has been pending for several months. I have contacted their customer service and have had no help at all. They send back an automated reply and close the help case.
I would avoid them. They are being purchased by another company so there is a slight chance they could become better in the future, but until they are proven better I wont be taking any more of their surveys.

I have been a member of Your 2 Cents since October 2008. I have not received a single survey from them. I have been checking their website for over 3 months and there has not been a survey for me to answer. I have completed all of the profiles, but I still do not get any surveys. I don't know if they are still in business. My balance is $0.00 as of May 2009. I have not made any money with these scam artists. STAY ALWAY FROM YOUR 2 CENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like your2cents-but I usu don't qualify for about 80% of the surveys they release. They pay pretty good- ~ $1-3 per, but again qualifying is a problem. They also don't have paypal & getting payment takes @ least a month. My latest payment took exactly 8 wks. I've earned $30 this yr-according to them. So, it's worth the slow pay if @ the end of the yr. I will have earned an aver. of $120.

I started with this company and received surveys. I did all of them and now have a $9 balance (27,000 points) and cashout is $10. Its been two months since I hit the $9 and I havent received a survey since! What a waste of time!

I'vce been with this company for 5 years. Like everyone else, I used to do pretty good. Then I cashed out, and 3 months later did not have my check. I was told that the accounting guy took a leave of absence, so no checks went out for 2 months. What? How many people do you have at your company that cant write checks? Sounded ridiculous to me. OH, and the whole make $1-$5 for a survey, I have NEVER gotten more than $1. 30 minutes for $1 is a waste of time. I dont even bother with them anymore. Now they changed to points, lowering the low money they used to pay anyway.

Pretty good. Frequent invites. Can be kind of difficult to qualify though. Pay is good.

Your 2 Cents was the very first survey site I ever signed up with, and I used to get surveys all the time. I hardly ever get surveys anymore, it has taken me almost a year to get to my $10 to cash out.

They're surveys are kind of long, at least 20-25 mins. and a lot of times, you may not even qualify for the survey. but they DO pay when you request payment. and as long as you're patient they're a good survey site to be on.

Your2Cents is a legit company with legit surveys and they do pay you they recently raised the payout from $5.00 to $10.00 which isn't a smart thing to do when you take foreveer to pay people their incentive. They need to offer paypal instead of sending out checks it seems that your check is pending for 2 months before its released to you for that reason I rated them low on the incentive scale also they usally offer 1-3 dollars for a 40 minute survey if they go higher its usually an hour long and very repetitive questions rarely do I get the full amount I can spend half an hour or even 40 minutes and get 1 or 2 dollrs they always say up to whatever the dollar incentive is so you really never know what your going to get until you complete the survey.

So far I have had good results with this panel. I hope that it continues, as I am unemployed and need the cash.

A tenative "yes" to this site. Only a couple of survey opportunities received each month though. Some are higher value surveys of $7.00 and up, but usually get disqualified from completing them. The $1 to $3 surveys are mostly the norm for full completion. Overall its an "OK" site, if you have some time to kill. Barb: Receipt of payments are a bit slow. Laurel: But improving at the time of this posting.

I used to get surveys all the time and when I requested a check they were pretty consistent with payments but now they are messing up. I requested a $10 payment on May 22 and the check is still pending. I have sent two emails to them and receive the form letter back that someone will contact but so far no one has. Also they don't send emails that I qualify very often any more.

I've been a member for 3 years now and have only made $57 in that time. I'm still waiting on a check I requested on July 12th.

Like others have posted, this was the first survey panel I ever joined. Years ago I used to do pretty well with them and cashed out fairly often. Now I probably receive 1 or 2 surveys a month...if that! Surveys are lengthy and while you're promised $1-3 if you complete the survey, it seems like I always get $1 for my time which is hardly worth it. I still do their surveys IF I don't have other "better paying" ones to do. I would recommend them just because they do pay.

This could easily be a top 3 if you recieved any surveys.

Just sent Your 2 Cents an e-mail asking why I don't receive more e-mails from them. I don't even see any available surveys on their website. Don't know what is wrong. I love Your 2 Cents - they're first survey company I signed up with!!

Your 2 Centes was the first company I ever signed up for. I get a steady stream of surveys all worth $1-$15 average is about $3. The surveys are long but interesting and they always pay me quickly. Cash out is only $5.

My first survey company and a good experience so far, just about 2 months and have a $19 balance.

Ive been a member of Your2Cents for like 2 years and i've made over $150. There surveys can be long but you will get paid and you get quite a few surveys including some product trials.

Suveys if you qualify are quite long for incentive but that is a matter of opinion.
I still recommend Your2Cents and participate.

I have cashed out twice. The only problem I notice is Your 2 Cents tends to send many surveys lasting 20-25 minutes for $1-$3 reward if you qualify. That is a lot of time for such a small incentive. Then out of the blue you get one for $10 of course harder to qualify the higher the incentive.

I get a decent amount of surveys from Your 2 Cents. I have cashed out several times and have received the checks in the mail.
Their surveys are pretty interesting too.

I just received my check from this company last week. They usually take about 5 weeks from the day I submit the request, which is pretty fast since their site states 6-8 weeks.

I have completed fairly good amount of surveys with them. Most giving me a decent incentive.

I would recommend this panel company to others.

I have had poor luck with this company. They hooked me up with a "partner" and I did an extensive phone survey and I never got paid.

There are too many survey companies that do pay consistently for me to waste my time on this one.

If someone gets paid, post it.
