BzzAgent is a media network, operating since 2002, that recruits "BzzAgents" to evaluate products and services and then share their opinions on them with people they know. BzzAgent has over one million member agents around the world, and uses the idea of word of mouth communication to generate measurable results for marketers.

Influence the Biggest Brands

BzzAgent has an impressive client list which includes: L’Oréal, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble and Purina. You may be invited to test products from international companies and have a major influence on the brand!

Test Merchandise

Members must receive an invitation to a campaign in order to participate. Assignments usually involve testing merchandise and coupons/rebate offers for free samples and then writing/sharing their thoughts on the brand online and on social media.

Being Assigned an “Activity”

If you are asked to test a product, in many cases you will be assigned any or all of the following activities:

• Posting to social media about the product (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram)
• Writing a review about the product you have been instructed to use
• Uploading photos and videos about a given product

Communication Directors (Comm Devs) then rate and respond to the activities you submit based on guidelines, and you are awarded points based on the quality of the “buzz”.

Online Surveys

In addition to testing products, BzzAgent invites its members to participate in quick online survey opportunities for extra points and rewards. These also help the organization it you with the right products that you’ll be excited to try.

Collect Points and Free Products

Receive MyPoints and sometimes free products in exchange for your BzzAgent participation. Feel good about sharing your opinion to the world and gaining something in return.

Build your BzzScore

Each member accumulates a BzzScore on a yearly basis. It ranges from zero to 10 and takes into account all of the activities you participate in. Depending your level of participation, your BzzScore may go up and down throughout the year. The following are ways to keep your BzzScore high:

• Putting detail and attention into your assigned activities
• Staying up to date on all the latest survey opportunities
• Being an influencer by involving your fellow friends in your BzzActivites
• Connecting your BzzAgent profile to your social media accounts

The better your BzzScore, the more invites you will receive for new campaigns. You can view your BzzScore at any time from your member home page.

Earn Rewards

BzzAgent offers rewards as you participate. Some are unlocked along the way and some contain little surprises to keep you interested and always wanting more. Rewards are rewarded after various milestones or achievements, such as: your 10th Tweet, an exceptional photo, your 25th review, etc.

BzzAgent was fun at first. I was being invited to campaigns and had a score of 9.6 out of 10. It was a lot of work, though, and sometimes the "freebie" you received was a very small, puny sample (think of the travel size bottles). But I was ok with doing all that work if the product was a decent size.

Lately no matter what I do I get no campaign invitations, and I have to do the same "qualifier" surveys over and over again. And, no matter what I do, my score keeps dropping like a rock, down to 7.9 now.

BzzAgent used to be fun but now it's not worth the trouble or time.

You need to realize, sure they give you a free sample or two, but after being a bzzagent for over a year, and receiving a free mascara and shampoo about half way into being a buzz agent I realized I was giving away my very personal information and getting nothing in return. They already had my address and name, members of my family, their birth date, health problems, where I shop, my family's net income.....they rope you into thinking you will get freebies if you continue to participate in their surveys, well I did their surveys and received excellent scores on my ( four) campaigns. After about 10 months of doing nothing but answering my surveys, giving away very personal information, I was getting absolutely nothing in return.
If you want some freebies, look for coupons in your weekly flyers, don't compromise your personal information like I did.
100% regret being a bzzagent.

Received only one sample in the year and a half I have been a member. After that I have never heard from them again.

I have been a member there for 3 years and they once sent some really good stuff. NOW they send junk and then want you to post reviews PAGES LONG praising how awesome it is. Oh and to post pictures of YOURSELF using the products. But don't worry, they will use it and give you a FAIR ranking. I am constantly getting JUNK emails as soon as I fill out any survey . This was a great place to honestly express your opinion... NOT ANYMORE. STAY AWAY!

Making a difference being registered as a so-called "BzzAgent" from the beginning (10-years+), BzzAgent states they will no longer will send any emails when you are not participating in a "BzzCampaign".

Seriously, this has got to be the dumbest response by any company. If they REFUSE to send you an emails to invite you to any "BzzCampaign", how would anyone be able to participate!

These are not only invites but any email whatsoever re company updates, promotions, special offers, survey alerts, and yes, invites to their so-called "BzzCampaigns" to receive and review products.

But, you are always welcome to login to their website to complete their surveys receiving nothing in return. Yet don't be fooled because BzzAgent is being paid for your personal information offered when completing these surveys when forwarding to other companies.
