Types of Surveys Offered
GlobalTestMarket offers online surveys that help companies develop new products and services. For every successful survey completion, members are awarded points. Survey lengths vary, but are typically between 10 - 20 minutes. 1 point = approximately $0.05.
Global Test Market offers many different reward options:
Global Test Market is an online survey panel operated by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), now owned by Lightspeed Research. Global Test Market has approximately 5.5 million members across 200 different countries.
Despite their claims of rewards, the only "reward" I ever received was one or more entries into their drawings which I, of course, never won. I recently cancelled my membership after more than a year; after answering survey after survey I only accrued the 250 points they initially gave me for joining. I consider this a rip-off.
I'm sorry, but it's taken me almost 2 years just to get so close to cashing out. Their surveys are designed to disqualify you on ANYTHING, whether it's your income level (or in my case lack thereof), or household status, etc. The times that I do get to participate in a survey, the points awarded are minimal at best. Hence why it's taken me so long to get as far as I have.
Aside from the points, the surveys are interesting to take (when I qualify to participate), and I would wager that some are legitimately put to good use. A word of caution, it will take you forever and a day to cash out at 1000 points.
$50 worth of surveys is needed to cash out. However, when I was ready to cash in my points, they pretended like I had violated the company policy and then they locked me out of my account, refusing to pay me the money they owed. What a waste! -- BEWARE!
I wasn't sure about this site when I joined up but I perservered for a little while but I have given up. I don't find the surveys very interesting. I dont think they rewards are fair. I prefer UK based survey companies.
I don't like this company! Just as I got really close to the $50 cash out threshold, all of a sudden, they locked me out of my account and refused to pay me for the completed surveys. It's like a really bad April Fools day joke. All of the time and effort I spent doing surveys was wasted, and I had done some 20 + surveys for free! -- That's what happened to me, and many others according to the feedback! -- BEWARE, and TAKE THIS WARNING SERIOUSLY!
