Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

I have been a member of this panel for about a year, and until lately, it's been O.K. They would award you a $50.00 once you accumulated 1000 points. It took quite a while to receive it (5-6 weeks). Lately, there have been changes. For the same reward, one now has to accumulate 1100 points, which represents a 10% decrease in pay for panelists. They now also have a number of other available rewards, for a variety of points...problem is, you have to accumulate 1000 points to claim ANYTHING, even something worth only 240 points. It is set up so almost nothing is valued at exactly 1000 points. It seems like they wish to make it as difficult as possible to redeem points. I have written to them with these issues, but have received no meaningful response at all, just a "form letter" email, having nothing to do with my issues. One wonders if this company is in financial difficulty, and is trying to "make a go of it" by penalizing its panelists? I haven't unsubscribed yet, but they are at the bottom of my list of surveys to take.

My fave panel- pays promptly and offers lots of surveys. The best! On any panel, sometimes getting DQed is frustrating. If I've spent a lot of time on one and at the end there is a technical error, write down the survey # and ask the helpdesk. For legitimate errors, you will get your credit.

I recently joined this site again since they updated the rewards system. And let me tell you, it's GREAT! They now have paypal, amazon and more rewards (plus their same $50 check)! Also, I find that they pay very well according to the survey length. I love this site!!!!

I have joined GlobalTestMarket/GTM on 3/1/13. On 4/3/13 I have redeemed 1000pts for $50 by a check that took about 5 weeks to arrive. I cashed it w/o any problems but because it takes so long to get paid & so hard to qualify for most of the surveys I temporarily stopped taking surveys with them until I found out that they now offer faster paypal payments. I was thrilled & jumped right back into doing surveys for them. But now I don’t know. I've finished surveys that I was not credited for, during one survey where the progress bar showed 94% complete I was taken to a page that said I was screened out after spending 40minutes on it. I have contacted GTM & have been waiting for weeks now for resolutions but keep getting nothing but generic responses that say something like you issue has been resolved but then asks me for my user id and to describe the problem in detail again. It's hard to keep track of surveys that errored out because GTM doesn't provide you w/a list of ALL surveys that you have started only the ones that you completed & were able to successfully submit. Also, before they introduced paypal, 1000pts=$50 but now to get $50 in paypal you have to have 1150 which if you calculate comes to $57.50. That means that they charge you $7.50 to get $ through paypal. I know for a fact it does not cost them anywhere near $7.50 to use paypal, per cash out. For those who do want to try them out because they are not a scam, keep records of each survey you attempt. Good luck.

I redeemed 1000 points in Nov '12 and Dec '12. It is now June '13 and I have got ZERO checks. I've emailed them numerous times of this span of time with an answer "oh, theyre part of our U.S. teams, I'll check with them". Sounds like everyone there passes the buck around and nobody takes care of business. It takes forever to earn 1000 points, which is $50....and over 6 months to get the money if at all? Don't even waste your time guys
