I registered with HCD Research yesterday and didn't expect to really receive any surveys any time soon, but as I check my email account frequently, there was an invite from HCD unexpectedly in my junkmail, even though I have them as a safe-sender.
I logged on and took the survey that included a short 2 minute video download to rate ( thought I'd be disqualified as I'm on dial-up; yep, I'm the last one!), but after 10 minutes or so, the video loaded and I successfully completed the survey and my account was credited with the points.
As many others have stated, we're not going to get rich doing surveys, but it is kind of fun and interesting to be paid for one's opinion just for registration and participation in a panel, especially the political/social ones HCD seems to specialize in.
I hope to receive more invites from HCD Research and so far, I'd recommend signing up with them.

I've taken A LOT of 2 min surveys and received 50cents for each which isn't bad... but cash out is 10$ and it took FOREVER to reach that since they don't send out many surveys. But the surveys are interesting so there's not much to complain about... You Decide :)

I really like this survey site! Even though they don't send a lot of surveys, I really like to take their surveys. I even thought it was real neat that they sent me a follow-up email to a survey I took with the data from the survey posted in a published journal article! Talk about a site taking time to show its survey takers that our opinions are really meaningful!

points may add fast when you are sent surveys to do. I did one survey on July 21 and have not had one sent to me since.

Great company, pay by check and comes with in a month! I highly recommend them.

I have been an HCD panelist for about 7 months; I find it the most interesting
survey group, to which I belong. They submit surveys pertaining to the most pertinent current affairs & the most interesting surveys. HCD pays top $ for their surveys. All of the survey companies that pay via check, require 4 to 8
wks. to deliver payment. I have never had problems receiving compensation for my work from HCD.

I really enjoy their site it's different and those little rewards do add up fast; their focus groups pay more

I've joined some 50 companies the past 2 years and this would be a top 3.Sighned up last month and already earned 19.30.

Surveys are short and interesting. Payment would be very reasonable expect they regularly "forget" to award points to my account. Contacting them sometimes generates one response email (about 1/2 of the time), but although they suggest replying to email, my replies are never responded to, and never have they corrected their mistake.

Although I like doing the surveys, I have now missed points 3 times ($9 total) and can not recommend this site to anyone who expects compensation for doing surveys.

Lots of political stuff and not much else....If you dont take the survey within an hour they have reached there limits,oh well I guess someone else gets that dollar.....lol

HCD Research is a great survey site. The surveys are always interesting and fun to do. Payments arrive in a timely manner, approximately 6-8 weeks.
