One of the worst!

May 26, 2014 by Ashlaye from United States

After over a year of doing surveys actively, they suddenly stopped coming and my account was listed as inactive, so I sent an email to the panel to inquire why. I received a email from the admins of the site saying I had failed a quality check and was told I would be removed from their database, to which I sent the following reply: "I appreciate the roundabout way I've been called a cheater, though I am told from your site there are no surveys at this time yet frequently re-directed to your site from the other research panel I belong to (which I assume is the problem--not being a loyal panelist). The amount of time going through the surveys are cumbersome and the rate of redemption is snail-slow, so I won't worry about credits/prizes I wouldn't have received. I understand you have a job to do and I don't fault you in doing it, so thanks anyway."
Fast-forward two weeks later and I receive several emails from them asking me to take new surveys... I sent them an email stating if I was blocked, why the survey invites and to remove me from their mailing lists. I then received another email saying the deactivation was an error and I was welcome to rejoin. Yeah, no thank you. Go play with someone else's time.

From my experience one of the worst

October 16, 2013 by si from United States

I do not use it anymore. I also do not fill out surveys from them that I receive in the survey routers I use now.

For the following reasons:

- several times I did not receive my points.
- often error 404 after 20 minutes or more
- surveys are often longer than they say which makes
- pay too little
- often its not surveys but more like paid for ad watching

terrible customer service

October 11, 2013 by katherine from United States

After spending more than an hour doing one of their surveys, I got an error message that said 'this page cannot be displayed'. Refreshing multiple times did not help, so I was unable to complete the survey or get rewarded. I contacted them to report the error, and after waiting ALMOST A MONTH for a reply, I got a generic response saying that the survey was over quota. This was obviously not the case; it was a technical error, hence the error message. I wrote back explaining this, and waited TWO MORE WEEKS for an answer, which this time was ‘the survey was closed’. Typical uncaring customer service which gives generic, one-size-fit-all responses, no matter what you tell them. After 6 weeks I ended up with no reward and nothing to show for the hour+ I wasted on the survey.

Not new and not helpful!

July 11, 2013 by Margaret from United States

I was a member of Ipsos for over a year. I had taken many surveys and qualified for many which earned me over 14,000 points that had also carried over from Synovate. I was saving these points to reach the cash reward of $500. Upon accessing the website one day, I couldn't get in. I called them and they told me that I had unsubscribed and I had lost all my points. I was so upset and told them how in the world would I unsubscribe when I already had over $100 of reward points and I hadn't even cashed them out. They could not do anything for me except to tell me to rejoin but I would not get my points back. Yes, give them a chance and they will rip you off if you accumulate too many points that they don't want to pay out. Beware of a wolf in sheep's clothing!

What Happened?

July 10, 2013 by donna from United States

Ipsos used to be really good at one time. They have changed. They are very hard to access, talk to, and especially receive awards. Time to move on. Sad to work so hard and no rewards. :(
