Bunch of Amateurs

October 3, 2018 by David from Canada

While it is possible to get rewards from this bunch of amateurs, it will take a long time, especially if one is older than 70. They used to give actual plastic pre-paid VISA cards, but now only virtual VISA is available. Amazon.ca gift cards are available, and do work OK. The main problem with this site is that they will say there are surveys waiting for you, but when you try them, they are not available. In short, this survey site is generally a waste of time. Stay away!

Deactivated and Sad.

August 29, 2018 by Kimberly from Canada

Dear i-Say.

Here is my post on your FB page that no one has yet sent a response too. No sorry, that is incorrect. After hours spent trying to get support, I was told among many things that I needed to create another account. After doing so and waiting for a response, turns out my demographics no longer matter. That's funny but another story.

So as it goes....

When I just went to do some surveys, I found out that my account was deactivated in May and I am hoping you can help.

I will admit that I was not active and this was due to health, work and other circumstances. When I went on Medical Leave from work in 2017, my job was restructured and I was terminated after 15 years. During this time my dog and my life Humpfrey was diagnosed with cancer and I dropped everything for him so I could give him all the love and best treatment in the world. He passed in January and this crushed me b/c he was my world.

In February, I was hospitalized for blood clots that returned from surgery several years previous and this sidelined me for quite some time. When I went to our local emergency hospital I was told by the doctors after a CT scan, they were surprised I was able to walk into the hospital. Another said if I had not come in then, I would have died.

In the meantime, I have been writing an appeal with the Human Rights Commission of Ontario, which to date has involved over 1000 hours of research etc.

Now in trying to get my life back on track which is still difficult - you know getting back to the gym and a routine but also b/c of the blood clots things are difficult. Hold on, it doesn't end there. Last week I went for a mammogram and have been called back for more tests including an x-ray and CT scan.

I hope that everything turns out okay b/c I have to get back to work which involves finding a job but in the meantime, I wanted to get back to doing surveys for extra pocket change.

I had at least $50 in my account which I was saving for a rainy day and as you can see, have quite the torrential downpour going on here. If you can provide me with any assistance in reactivating my account I'd greatly appreciate it. Funny, getting called for more tests just made me sigh, losing this money which is for some not a lot but it's groceries for me for a week and me when I think given all the hours put into the surveys, I am going to just go cry. Silly given everything else. I can provide you with documentation for all of this in a pm.

Thank you.

Kimberly P.

Thought it was Good, I was Wrong

August 14, 2018 by Marquita from United States

This is the only issue I have had with this site in years, but it is a big one; one that may change my mind about signing up with the again. I am a member of over 70 different survey sites, so I keep a list of the sites in an Excel spreadsheet and use that list whenever I decide to log into the sites. So, I was able to log into my Ipsos i-Say survey account as recently as 2 weeks ago (about every 1-2 weeks I sign into all of my survey sites to check balances and to check if there are any surveys that I can take) and everything was fine. However, when I tried to log in a few days I was given the wrong password error (which is weird because I also keep a list of passwords). When I tried to reset the password, I was given an error saying that I did not have an account with Ipsos i-Say. So, I contacted the site and was told that my account was deactivated in May 2016. I was so confused because I had just logged into that account, I know I did because it was on my list and the name of this site is easy to remember because it is so unique. I replied and explained that to them, but I received the same response that my account was deactivated in May 2016 and I could sign-up again, oh and I had also lost all my points. I just received the same short response again today, after I again asked why I was able to log in so recently if my account was deactivated, we'll see what they say this time (I'm sure they'll say the same thing). I'm disappointed because I feel like they might do this a lot, wait until someone has racked up a lot of points and then take their points, lock them out of the site, and then tell them their account was deactivated years before. Please be careful if you decided to join or if you have already joined this site. If I hear anything else from them and they actually do something to help me, I will post here again.
