All you do is take surveys and you get nothing for it. I'm about delete my account with them!!!! It's just waste of time. GTM is better

All you get for completing surveys are points to redeem for a chance to win money and sweepstakes prize.Its waste of time and money for paying for internet connection. I was a member over a year and never won anything. I will be canceling my account with them.

While it would be nice to actually get an incentive once in a while, even worse is the huge waste of time even taking the surveys. I seem to get the same dang survey each time, maybe with one question or category changed. On the page where you can rate the survey I have actually told them that I feel the surveys are redundant and a waste of time. I feel like the 'survey data' is being used to direct merchandise offers just toward the survey participants rather than as a general consensus of what a segment of the population might think. Now, to revisit the 'incentives': I truly do not believe anyone ever receives any of these incentives. I am exiting the panel at the end of February.

I have never actually found any real persons that have "won" anything from these sweepstakes. Nobody on Facebook or any other site, with a real member account, has won anything. I have been a member for over 5 years and have tried on and off to get tickets and win something, but have won nothing to date. When I complained in an email, I got no response to 2 complaints and when I filed a formal complaint with the BBB, I found my account was shut out with no explanation or warning. Losing all honestly acquired sweepstakes tickets with no offer of payment. Worst survey site ever.

No money paid from this panel. You can earn points but after several years have never won anything here. If you want to take surbeys just for the sake of taking them, this is the place for you. If you want a tangible incentive for the time you spend, steer way clear of NPD !

If you do surveys for the sake of doing surveys, without hope of any further reward, this place is for you. Otherwise, stay away. You can't earn stuff here, you win it; since most of it is junky stuff like on the old "Wheel of Fortune," you have to ask yourself how highly do you value your life? Is it really only worth a toaster after two years of trying?

There are no real rewards for your time, just "points" for a bogus sweepstakes drawing that nobody ever seems to win. I've been a member there for many, many years and never won a single thing - even when I put all my points into low-demand items. The only plus is that you can just blow off the surveys by clicking "no" to all the questions and you still get the same (non)reward as if you actually took the time to answer truthfully. It's the only survey panel I belong to that I don't bother with real answers, because there's no downside and I'm not giving them my valuable time and data for FREE.

Been with them for about a year and a half and haven't won anything. I look through the winners list and half of the prizes offered to win never have a winner listed. That tells me they are not going to anyone. yes the surveys are short and you never get disqualified, but why waste time for nothing but a chance at a prize you will never win anyway. Will be sending thier emails to junk folder from now on.

The only reward is a chance at a sweepstake win, which in four years of membership, i've never won a thing. Don't get into this one for the hopes of a payment but if you like doing surveys for the sake of doing surveys, then this one is for you.

I've been a member of NPDOR for many years. Surveys are fairly brief, easy to complete and frequent enough. But their reward system needs a major overhaul. You earn points for surveys but only "bet" on sweepstakes. Odds of winning are a zillion to none. Support emails and requests go unanswered. UGH!

Not too crazy about their sweeps all the time though they changed their program so you can get other rewards as well. Not the greatest but not bad either.

NPD is not for the faint of heart, I won a 46 inch Samsung flat screen HDTV and a Flip video recorder. I had been a member for 2 long years, I was going to unsubscribe when bam!!! I won! Janet is a real person and she hooked me up. I am a true believer. It has been a year again and it has been dry. Remember it took 2 years and I won a 2000 HDTV. Hey it is a sweepstakes deal. Time spent waiting for the prize is up to you.

As a few people have said I really don't mind NPD. I don't do their surveys for the "big bucks" and if I win something cool and if not, I really haven't wasted a significant amount of time doing their surveys. Their survey interfaces are easy to use and they are very professional.

As someone else said, they have never misled people into thinking they're going to be able to cash out for things and they're not blowing up your inbox with trash. They're worthy of my opinions.

Not sure what they have done since I left, but I did suveys for them, got points and had to spend them on sweepstakes. Never got a thing from them. I quit!!

Well, I give it to them that the surveys are usually quick & easy to do--so I generally don't mind doing them. However, their incentives program they use to 'reward' panelist is completely garbage & time wasting. Sure I never fell under any illusion of their explanation of that points/sweepstakes system they use (called SweepLand). Nonetheless, it probably one of the most lamest incentive programs I been on. Basically (as numerous others have stated) said, you're more or less doing non-paying surveys b/c though you get points as a 'reward' what good does it do if you got to put it in some raffle-like type of thing and never win much of anything.

Maybe it would be so bad if they'd at least let you get a certain percentage of points back if you don't win the prize you want, but they don't. I gotten (after over a year+ of being a member) to the point where I very rarely waste my time doing them (even though I get at least a couple a month).

It's a bare bones, survey site. Don't expect bells and whistles and money. Rarely any panel pays anymore and at least this one doesn't bombard you with surveys and they don't sell your email address. Other sites may pay you, but they make the money right back by selling all of your information to 3rd parties - hence all the spam we get. If you want to take surveys for survey taking's sake, then join NPD. If you're in it for this flash in a pan thought of making a few bucks, try somewhere else.

Kelli said it best when she claimed that she was never misled. I was never promised payment and I joined freely at my own will. I don't mind taking these surveys because I only get about 3-5 a month and they are not difficult to take at all. If I've ever had a problem with them, Janet Hall in customer service always replied very quickly and with a great answer. I don't find it to be a waste of time - I enjoy them and enjoy having my opinions heard. Don't judge a book by its cover. I've never won either but I've never won the state lottery either. Won't make me stop playing it though :)

The survey are short. You always qualify,but the only incentive is sweepstakes. Who actually wins? I was with them for only 1 week. I would receive points that I could apply to drawings. A total waste of time. I did more research on the net some panelist would save thousands of points up for months, apply it to one prize and still did not win:( That's not for me. I'll stick to paid survey's.

I imagine they are legit with the drawings- they would be exposed eventually if not. I only keep taking their surveys because you can cork through them in a few minutes. I've never won a thing in years, but if there's any chance, why not- I put almost no time or effort. If it's a long survey there, just close it.

When they first started they actually sent out cash in forms of checks to you after completing their surveys, but they converted to a new system where you bid your points. You play a flash game after taking a survey and it's like this virtual wheel that you spin. Its not a real wheel so of course you aren't going to win those trips it's a flash loop. Next, you can hold onto your points or enter them into a raffle. The time isn't worth it anymore and you only have a "Chance" to win other than a guaranteed prize.

The surveys aren't bad but the rewards are a joke. If I wanted to spend time on chance, I'd walk to the store and play the lottery. It's too bad, it could be a decent site if they made it worthwhile.

After taking a variety of surveys for 6 months I'm starting to figure out which ones actually pay me for my time. THIS ISN't ONE OF THEM. They only give you chances for sweepstakes - a big waste of time. Their surveys were frequent and interesting for the most part and you felt like you were getting something when you entered sweepstakes, but the reality is you aren't really getting anything at all. You are working for FREE which is not why I want to take survey. I'm cancelling this one.

I have been with them for 3 YEARS! I have gottan NOTHING from them. I stopped taking their surveys and have complained about changing their rewards into getting points for gift cards or paypal payouts, I mean I don't care if I have to save up the same points but give me something to save it for. My goodness talk about a WASTE of my hoping and time on this one. STAY AWAY!

I have been a member for over two years, I have never won anything for all of the well over 300 surveys that I completed for them in the past few years, all I have won at the end of the survey was worthless points. I finally put my points to play last month, I had around 7,000 points and I played them all into different sweepstakes entries and did not win nothing with all those points. So this being said I would not reccomend NPD at all.

I've been a member for a couple of years, and I've actually won the NFL Game room package. They told me it would come in 6-8 weeks, but I got it in 2 weeks. EVERYTHING in my package was the best quality, from the dart board to the pool table (all with the COWBOY logo on it). My friends and my husband STILL can't believe I won it.

My kids and I have received lots of $5 checks, a $50 gift card, and I love getting free products to test.

I would definitely recommend it, for everyone else...I'd say hang in there, I'm sure it'll pay off soon.

After 2 years of taking their stupid surveys and getting absolutely NOTHING whatsoever for a incentive,I cancelled my membership. All they ever give you is sweepstakes entries which you dont stand a chance of ever winning even the worst prize. Nothing but a total scam!!

Move on. No need to waste your time filling out surveys so this company can get paid for them. No surveys ever pay anything. Beware of paid shills and company employees that want you to think this company is worthwhile.

Absolutely no incentives, all sweepstakes that you will never win. Those who say they just like giving their opinion and don't care about incentives are planted from those panels. Ignore them. We all want better incentives.

Unless you like doing surveys for a chance at a sweepstakes, you come to the right place. If you notice that the only people to have said they would recommend this site have, won a prize or maybe work there. These people would feel comfortable at Greenfield (LOL).
No money folks, stay away!

Personally, I have won 100 bucks in the 100 dollar give away and I had only been a member about a year. The winners list are real, because I checked to see if my name was on the list after I received the email and it was. It only took maybe 3 weeks to receive it as well. Lots of people say they don't believe anybody wins, but there are just A LOT of panelists. This is the only site I have actually found to be worth my time so far. I would definitely recommend it. Besides, you always get 25 points plus the bonus game...they never tell you "You do not qualify" and leave you empty handed. Plus they have never said that it is a guarantee you will win, that is why its called sweepland.

Another waste of time survey site. Spend your valueable time to answer surveys that they are deffinetly being paid for and only get chances for sweepstakes prizes. What a rip off.

I've been a panel member for 2 years and always take the time the fill out the surveys they send. I have never received any of the prizes I entered points for. At least a gift card would be nice. Whoever says you can make BIG money taking surveys must be from another planet.

I been with them for one year and I am regretting that I lost my time with them. Most of the survey is wack and don't get any point. Oh and point system blows, what the point in being with them if you are not being rewarded. The reward system is nothing more then a drawing for each month to see who will get the prize. I rather be with Harris Poll then to be with this survey group. Don't trust them.

This survey group is not as it's advertised to be. You get no payment, but you are entered into sweepstakes (which the odds are against you in getting anything),for a chance to win products. I agree, they get all your information and time for free, and all you get is a chance, that may not come. You should get something for your time and information. This is a clever rippoff, but a rippoff non the less!!!

This company has you take surveys. Instead of paying you or giving you points that you have to stay with them forever, they have you pick a sweepstakes you want to enter. If you get 30 points, you can put that into 30 entries to win different things. After wasting my time with them, hoping the next time I would win, I gave up. People should be be paid for the work they do. Not "hope" to win.

Free is exactly right. I stopped taking their surveys, you'll never make a dime here. Dont they realize that WE realize how easy it is to scam us and put a list of so called winners on their site. Bologny!

I'm a member of over 40 survey sites and this is the only one I will complete for sweeps entries, since I get to chose what I'm entering myself for and the surveys are usually engaging, fun, and easy.

I used to feel the same way about NPDOR until earlier this year. I've been with them about 2 years, and I got an email in May saying that I had won a $100 Dining Gift Card that would be sent in 4-6 weeks. Almost 3 weeks later, I received a $100 American Express Gift Cheque,which could be converted to cash.

a waste of time another "sweepstakes reward" scam--they must think we are totally stupid --I figure if they gave even 1 cent per person per survey it would be worth more of my time and effort than them give 1 person a huge reward and the rest of us are chopped liver

It is very true that the only incentive you get with this group is chances to win cash & prizes. However, I was never misled into believing that I would be rewarded otherwise. I have never had any problems with NPD Online Research. This is the only company that I allow to have my "real" e-mail address, not one just for junk, and they have never sold my info to anyone. Also, NPD is very professional. You never get the feeling that they are trying to scam you in any way. Another good thing, they are always very clear about how many points you have. There are no guessing games or confusion about this, as I have witnessed on other sites. Again, the only negative is that there are no guaranteed rewards or cash for your time, only chances to win.

Sweeps is all you get for completing long surveys. Such a total waste of precious time for nothing.
