Survey Details

The time it takes to complete an online survey will vary, however most surveys offered by SurveySpot take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Most surveys are rewarded within the range of 50 to 100 points, depending on their length and complexity.

What has happened to Survey Spot?? In addition to taking a preliminary survey, now they only award 35 points. It's not worth my time anymore. It used to be my favorite

i've been with survey spot for a year and a half, and at first they seemed great. i have always been able to regularly cash out with them, despite completing surveys and then being told i wasn't qualified, being kicked out in the middle of surveys, etc. during the last year they seemed to have gotten worse with this, and several times i actually got directed to a page saying i'd violated their terms (right when submitting surveys), despite not doing anything wrong. this is the only panel where this has happened to me, and it really freaked me out, and was frustrating after spending an hour on one particular survey! i never knew if i was going to attempt to log in one day and find my account closed and points confiscated.

the issue that made me decide to leave, however, was the compensation - it's practically 50 points (50 cents) for every survey, whether it's 5, 10, 25 minutes long. a few will offer 100 points for 30 minutes, but that's as good as it gets. opinion outpost, on the other hand, has the exact same surveys (and layout) for two and three times the amount that survey spot offers them for, without the "violation of tos" scares.

on the plus side, the times i did cash out they were super fast with payment to my paypal account - no waiting at all.

Never qualified for anything, just spent all my time being kicked out saying I didn't qualify for that survey.

I had been a member of survey spot for many years. Earned lots of rewards ( maybe too many? ). They have now eliminated my account. Never said why. Will not respond to emails. Luckily I always redeemed my rewards as soon as I got enough because I was always worried that they would go away and I would not have redeemed something. Just be aware, they can drop you at any time for any reason and never let you know why. redeem your points as soon as you have enough. Don't let them sit there.

It takes a bit of time to earn enough points. But I'm ok with that I use Amazon gift cards. Decent amount of surveys.
