Opinion Outpost, OpinionWorld

SurveySpot permanently shut down on June 30, 2019. Opinion World and Opinion Outpost continue to operate.

SurveySpot was launched back in the year 2000, by the market research powerhouse, Survey Sampling International (now known as Dynata). Take online surveys for great rewards and chances to win sweepstakes.

Rewards

SurveySpot offers 4 different types of rewards for your participation. You can cash out with PayPal, or elect to request iTunes vouchers, Amazon vouchers, or Air Miles! Start cashing out once you have earned as little as $5 in points ($10 for PayPal requests).

New Member Cash Draw

New members automatically receive an entry into the $10,000 quarterly cash sweepstakes draw. Additional entries are awarded each time a survey is successfully completed. The more surveys you take, the better chance you have of winning!

Unfortunately, SurveySpot is no longer operational. Click the button to discover survey panels that are running and are actively looking for new members!

SurveySpot Instant Win Game

All online surveys offer an instant win play where you can play a slot machine or scratch card game with a chance to win additional prizes.

Survey Details

The time it takes to complete an online survey will vary, however most surveys offered by SurveySpot take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Most surveys are rewarded within the range of 50 to 100 points, depending on their length and complexity.

Eligibility: SurveySpot is open to USA residents only.

O.K. -- Recommended!

*This site seems to have a lot of surveys going on. I get invites several times daily, so the opportunity to make money is definitely there. However, some of the surveys are long and tedious, and there are lots of OTX surveys that come up on this site. ALWAYS HIT DELETE IF YOU ARE INVITED TO DO AN OTX!

*This company pays quickly through paypal!

Hit and Miss

September 17, 2010 by Jeffrey from United States

I know my view is going to be a little biased, because this company recently terminated my membership stating that I had violated or breached their Terms and Conditions, but wouldn't tell me EXACTLY what it was that I did or didn't do. I always took their surveys seriously, and even if I didn't qualify for some, I still took them in the spirit of participation. I never lied, nor have I broke confidentiality, yet they still dropped my membership after being a member for 5 years.

Aside from that, their surveys were always geared either for people who spend a lot of money like a drunken sailor, or were for people who drank a lot of booze. When surveys were available to gain monetary incentives (which was rare), it was taking seemingly forever to get that incentive, and that's only IF one qualified for the surveys. I've even went and done a full 45-minute survey, and at the end of which says I didn't qualify.

Deceptive Panel

September 17, 2010 by J from United States

I get plenty of surveys with Survey Spot but 70% are not for points, just a chance of winning a jackpot. The ones I do take for points are inconsistently awarded. I don't know if SS knows what they're even doing. I just took a 40 min survey in which the email subject said 300 pts, the body text said 400, and what they gave me for my trouble was ZERO. They post no customer service information. Their IT dept doesn't have a clue on how to fix all the bugs in their system (or maybe they don't want to?)I can't even unsubscribe because even that doesn't work. So many other great panels out there... do not waste your time on this one. If I don't see my 400 points soon, I'm visiting the BBB about this outfit.

FIRST TO PAY ME

September 17, 2010 by Patricia from United States

I've been taking surveys for about 6 months and Survey Spot is the first to pay me anything. I got $30 from them in Pay Pal and a $59 check from a client of theirs. So I can't complain about them. However, the surveys for chances aren't really why I do this and some of the surveys won't complete after taking quite a bit of time. I don't mind being screened out because they give you lots of surveys, but they shouldn't have you take a whole survey and then say you don't qualify.

paypal?

September 17, 2010 by Rhianna from United States

I have to opt out soon because they switched over to paypal and I dont have paypal so its now useless to me, Im just waiting for my check to come (which will take a while but Ive cashed out before so I know I will get it) and then Im outta there. With sweepstakes, points and fading cash rewards and test products all the emails I get just get deleted. Overall I still like the site its just not accessable to me anymore.
