Alternatively, you may provide your cell phone number in order to be notified by text when a new paid survey becomes available.

Payment and Rewards

Rack up Points

Each time you take a survey, you will earn points for your opinions. Screener surveys (short surveys) are worth between 5 – 50 points, or an entry into a monthly draw, and are 20 questions or less. Longer surveys offer points ranging from 100 – 5,000.

Points Value: 1,000 points = $10.00. 1 ACOP point therefore equals 1 cent.

Great Reward Options

As a panelist of ACOP, you must have a 1,000 point minimum balance ($10 worth) to redeem your points. Once you have reached this minimum, you may redeem your balance for the following options:

  • PayPal: For most countries, use PayPal to cash out your earnings in a simple and easy manner. If you decide to use PayPal as your cash out option, make sure your PayPal email matches the email you used to sign up with American Consumer Opinion.
  • Hyperwallet: Like PayPal, Hyperwallet is a user-friendly payment platform that operates in 170+ countries. Allow 8-12 weeks for payment and receive a confirmation email once your money is available.
  • Sweepstakes Cash Out: Use your points toward sweepstakes entries that give you a chance to win a variety of lucrative prizes. (Note that once a sweepstakes has been entered using your points, you do not get your points back, even if you are not selected as a winner).
  • Charity Donations: Choose to donate your money to a variety of credible charities.

Survey Taking Experience

American Consumer Opinion Surveys

ACOP offers online surveys to its members that are interesting and quick, with the average survey taking approximately 10 minutes to complete.

In addition to online surveys, participate in other research opportunities such as product testing, focus groups, and judging the newest advertising campaigns. You can expect to receive invitations for participation from American Consumer Opinion several times a year.

Member's Tip! Ensure you add [email protected] to your approved senders list to ensure you receive survey invitation emails in your inbox.

Household Surveys

A few times a year ACOP sends out a survey that pertains to each household. The survey asks what products and services you use on a day-to-day basis. If you participate in this survey, you will be more likely to receive additional future survey invitations, which can translate into earning more points!

Unacceptable Wait

September 6, 2017 by Kayeren from United States

4 to 7 months to get paid (after you reach C/O minimum) is unacceptable! Too bad, I enjoyed their surveys.

It's Genuine!

August 20, 2017 by Kieran from United Kingdom

I've been a member of American Consumer Opinion, for about three months and cashed out at 1000 points (that's $10 paypal money). The money actually got approved into my Paypal account, and when I bought items off the internet, the payment was accepted, so now I know that it's genuine. The only reason in which I didn't give the full 5 stars, is because the payment process is so slow and it takes weeks to a couple of months, for the payment from ACO to be approved. A good survey website and apart from the payment slowness, I'm a happy member.

Terrible

August 18, 2017 by Carla from Canada

The frequency of surveys is terrible. Only four this year that actually gave me any points. Most of them make me go through a bunch of questions to say that sorry the survey is now closed.

I've been with this panel since 2013 and only cashed out twice. One in 2013, one in 2015, and I have now another paypal redemption pending... for 5 weeks. Never more than $15. It always took ages for the "pending" to become an actual payout.

I contacted them last night because it doesn't even state on the site's FAQ how long it takes to process a paypal payment. The reply was initially an automated one stating they had received my message, and then a few hours later this one arrived:

Please allow for 8-12 weeks before you receive your payment from the time of cash out. We are currently processing your payment. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks,
Sue Davis
Email Coordinator

How the heck does it take that long to process a digital payment? I get rewards from other sites shortly after submitting a request or st the most, within a couple of weeks for paypal redemptions.

I will not be using ACOP any more after redeeming the last batch of points. I was stuck at 980 for ages waiting to do just this. It is not worth my time, and it is not worth yours.

Good Survey Site Slow Payout

August 5, 2017 by Latoisha from United States

This is a good survey site, they send you surveys and they give you a date on when you need to complete them by in order to see if you qualify which is good. The only issue I have is it takes to long for them to payout. I have cashed out several times on another panel and I am still waiting on one payout from these guys it's been well over a month. 8-12 weeks is just a little excessive to wait on a payout.
