Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

This Survey site used to be very good. Now the surveys hardly work and when completing a survey you dont get credit as you should. Contacting helpdesk is Very disappointing.

First of all I did check with this site a few months back even though I had already joined that site early this year, and I saw a lot of people saying bad things but I hadn't really had any problems with it. Anyway, it isn't one of my top sites, there usually aren't many surveys available and if they are, they're usually low paying, 50 points or so, which is less then 50 cents. So this site has low priority for me even though I still use it some. I did cash out $25 at least 2 or 3 times. But I went to sign on, I think Saturday and suddenly it says "sorry this account is currently not active". So what gives?! I had a similar problem with globaltestmarket, and their reason is because I had marked their emails as spam... how the heck they knew that I have no idea. But it's ridiculous because they send a bunch of emails to me everyday to tell me there's a new survey, well I don't need an email every single time, it floods my inbox. I usually make my rounds almost daily so I don't need survey reminders. Anyway, so I moved them off my spam list and got back in... but this time with MySurvey, I checked if they might have been bumped to my spam folder but there was nothing from them in it... so I have no idea why my account has been deactivated. At least I don't think I had many points sitting in there cause I had recently cashed out. I did send an email to their "contact us" but haven't heard back from them yet. So I sent another one out today, because hey I at least deserve an explanation! In the mean time I'll just go and make money on other sites! Also it appears that their rating has lowered on this site since I last visited unless I'm mistaken. I'm gonna go and say that I would not recommend this site even though you CAN still earn something from them, at least up until they kick you out for no reason. IF I hear back from them I'll update my review. I'm glad that I didn't have many points sitting in my account cause I saw other people saying they were ripped off because they had like $20 or more sitting in their accounts.

Update: I randomly tried a few more times to contact someone about the issue, still no word whatsoever from them. Even people on their facebook page are saying the same thing has happened to them, with minor exceptions that some actually got a hold of someone and unlocked their account. But not me! And many others.

Update: I randomly started getting emails from them again a few days ago so I decided to check again, sure enough I now magically have regained access without ever receiving word from them and no explanation. I'm glad I got it back but at the same time I really don't trust them if they're going to lock your account and never say anything about it no matter how many times you contact them. I doubt I'll use them anymore because of this.

"Service is unavailable"

11-Feb-2018:If you do subscribe watch out for less points than advertised being given, excuse is 'You didn't complete the survey completely', even though you get their pathetic 'what did you think of the survey?' screen when you've done.
12-Jan-18: Now getting block 'Solved' status on ANY problems reported, NO ACTUAL explanation, just [solved] Obviously done to improve helpdesk stats, but 20+ 'solved' in less than 5 minutes, they're joking!
Latest issue is nearly all surveys (except of course the free ones) come up "service unavailable", report to the helpdesk, usual deathly silence!
Because of a funny in their helpdesk side, about which I've complained several times, I finally was told to unsubscribe, wait two weeks then re-enroll.
Have tried several times to unsubscribe "You are now unsubscribed" but I still get invites & can still log in.
Have emailed the helpdesk and the ephemeral "[email protected]" but these just get bounced.
Seems their unsubscribe is a fragile as the rest of their offerings Eventually set up new email & hoped to start again. Told their helpdesk (now there's an inaccurate description) could the please close to old account. Guess what, they closed the NEW Account, left old one open. After several more attempts tried to get them to close BOTH accounts, only to be told "We can't reopen accounts, NOTHING to do with what I asked.
They really are the pits,

Just love the recent requests for appreciation for their support desk. What Support, the same couple of glib, irrelevant comments on what I'm doing wrong, nothing about where they are going actually wrong

I've been a member for over 7 years without any problems. Since December, I've noticed that I'm no longer receiving surveys. I think I'll go into the site and try to redeem the points I have left and unsubscribe to this site. It's a shame because I really liked MySurvey.

Diary Survey Being Audited

I usually don't participate in the diary surveys because they are too tedious and time consuming but I recently did one on bill paying for 1000 points and it was actually fun. But recently I did one for 400 points on a beverage study. At the end of the week, when I tried to submit it I got a technical error and when I tried to re submit it I got a message that access was denied and my account was disabled. I could still access the site and take surveys but I was not allowed back to the beverage survey to submit it. I wrote to customer service and they are "auditing" my survey. My points will be awarded if they find out the survey was done properly. Well it was, the only thing they might find wrong is that I had no beverages after dinner. Well I don't eat dinner, just a little snack, so any beverages I had after lunch is what I put on there. I have been a member of this site for years and can't even count how many Cracker Barrel gift cards I have redeemed the points for, but this being audited really ticks me off I might not get my points because someone will say I didn't do the survey properly when all I did was try to submit it and got an error! Edited to add that I just did another diary and submitted it and didn't get my points.
