Very Mixed Bag

Like others here, I've encountered Synovate's technical difficulties and agree that the points system they use is ridiculously bad. Supposedly, they had increased the points and I just finished a survey worth 6700 points (we'll see).

Still, there's a lot wrong (that said survey was highly repetitive - it's like someone gets cut-and-paste happy when they make surveys), most surveys are for too low points just to get to the $5 level, and they just seem like one of the "old-school" they-way-these-things-were when they first got started.

I do have to say, I qualify for more with this company than I do most, but the incentive system saps much of my desire to even complete the surveys.

Not so horrible that I'm on the verge of quitting them (so far), but not good enough to really recommend someone new getting involved with them at this point.

I take fairly good notes on the survey panels I belong to, and with Synovate, the negative chits have finally added up to an unsubscribe. They almost exclusively rated among the "fake suveys" (ones that steal your opinion and then say you don't qualify), the underpaid surveys, and the time wasted on normal rejections (9 out of 10, vs. about 4 in ten for others-ballpark) Their point sceme is outrageous as well: The clincher: They were taking 25 times as long for my points to add up!!!!!
They really are one of the sneakiest around: having the look and feel of one of the legitimate ones but with constant transgressions. I say steer clear.

The more you involve yourself with Synovate, the more they give you. I've done quite a bit of product testing for them. I would definitely recommend.

This company gives pennies for long completed questionaires. Spending 30 minutes completing a survey for 25 cents is harly worth it. It's almost impossible to cash out with them. This is just as bad as sweepstake survey companies. Such a waste of valuable time.

There's always something wrong with their website, that for one reason or another, doesn't allow information to register. Customer service does however, get back to you in a timely manner. I wouldn't recommend Synovate to anyone looking to receive a check, as soon as you're done with the survey!

They have nice surveys and points accrue fast. However, receiving payment from Synovate is another thing. For now, I will stick by them and hope they work out their problems.

I contacted them and they called me back and let me know a few days ago that they were running behind on issuing checks as i requested my 10.00 on November 16, 2007. their phone number is: 1-800-745-4267. so i give them credit at least they called back vs. another place that owes me more than that. there was no indication on how far they are behind or how long it will take. i am going to give them a little more time prior to filing a complaint with the mi attorney general consumer protection division as here their office it could take time, plus they would have 30 days to respond, but each state consumer protection division is different so those who have not got paid may want to try that route.
