SITES LIKE Viewsbank

YouGov, Panel Champ

Viewsbank is a social forum where you get paid to complete surveys, projects and Mystery Shopping assignments on a range of subjects and industries. In addition to your regular paid work, you can create and vote on Polls, or join the Viewsbank conversation in community Groups.

The Viewsbank panel and website is owned and operated by Consumer Intelligence - an independent research company that has been providing customer and competitor insight since 2003.

Registration Process

Fill out the registration form and within 48 hours you will receive a series of 5 surveys that will narrow down what types of research projects you will be invited to.

Exciting Research Opportunities

Viewsbank offers a variety of ways to earn rewards. Within the registration process, check off which types of studies you are willing to participate in. As a member, don't forget to keep in mind that all projects are first come first serve, so the sooner you confirm your spot the better.

  • Online Surveys: New surveys are available on a weekly basis.
  • Mystery Shopping: May be done online, on the telephone, or in-person.
  • Home Research: Complete easy at home tasks and in return receive a reward.
  • Online Focus Groups: May be done on a group call or in a chat room. Focus groups provide the largest rewards for participation.

Note that assignments come as a first come first served basis, and some assignments, like mystery shopping have very limited availability, so act fast if you gain an invite!

Social Website!

Viewsbank prides themselves in being a "social website", where members are encouraged to interact with one another. Members can vote on polls and join groups with like-minded individuals for debates and discussions. There is also the option to create your own poll, which you can get paid for! Polls that become popular within the first three days of being released will be rewarded with £10. If a poll that you voted on begins to trend, then you will collect 1p. Learn more about polls in the "poll rules" section of the website.

Earn Cash & Prizes

Most of the time when you complete a research project, you will receive a cash payment directly into your account. Some studies offer entries into prize draws for cash or other items. Surveys are usually paid in cash or prize draw entries which appear within your member account, whereas mystery shopping or at home projects are mainly rewarded with direct payment.

Earn Between £15 - £20 a Month!

Payments are calculated on the last day of each month. A minimum of £12 must be accumulated before members can redeem towards a reward. Payment is usually transferred via PayPal.

Any earnings accrued during a month are paid on the second Tuesday of the following month, provided that the threshold has been reached. Any earnings below the threshold amount will be carried over to the following month. You will only be paid for earnings that have accrued during the previous calendar month. Any earnings accrued after the end of the month but before payday will be paid the following month, again provided you are over the £12 threshold.

The Unique Quote Research Project

The Unique Quote Research Project is an ongoing research study conducted by Viewsbank. Earn extra cash by participating in this project, as each time your information is used, you will collect a £5 cash reward.

Did pay eventually

October 3, 2023 by Chris from United Kingdom

I notice that I had not been paid I had to really chase to get the payment. Luckily I noticed that they had not paid me or I would have missed out.
They did pay eventually, after I chased them but ages after they should have paid but always double check that you receive your rewards.

Very disappointing.

July 22, 2022 by Peter from United Kingdom

Very disappointing. After the first few payouts, they failed to pay up recently- no explanation-just ignored me. Avoid.

Hi Peter

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry to hear you haven't had a good experience of late.

I'm not sure if you are the same Peter that I'm already dealing with on email but if not could you send me an email with as much information as possible and I'll try to sort it out for you. Please email me at [email protected]

Monopolised by the spiteful

December 14, 2020 by Lynne from United Kingdom

The pros:

10p daily poll

weekly 'assignments' which attract between 50/75p

the very remote possibility of getting a trending poll which will get you £10

you probably can reach the £12 pay out threshold every couple of months.

The cons

If you think the polls posted by members are just for a bit of fun you'll be disappointed. Every poll, regardless of how innocuous it is, will have the resident left wing clique turning it into some childish insult about the current Government/Tories in general and anyone who doesn't share their world view.

If your name isn't sagittarian03 or sues you don't stand much (if any) chance of getting a trending poll.

The moderators are selective about who they warn/ban.

Apparently you can be as offensive and abusive to other members if you happen to be one of the leftist bully brigade, (who seem to be able to get away with pretty much anything).
But any member who tries the same thing in retaliation will be removed from the site.

You only have to look at the replies from Viewsbank on here to see the mods are partisan and biased and any reviews that are less than glowing get a cut and paste response. The mods have steadfastly refused to do anything about the constant sniping from people like jaypee56 and sagittarian03.

The community is, for the most part OK, there are some funny and interesting commentators....But, as is often the way, it's monopolised by spinners of fake news and infantile comments. None of which are addressed by the mods even though they clearly break the site rules.

I've been a member for a lot of years, but other than to pop in to do the daily poll and the odd survey, I've given up on the polls.
a) There's no real point in posting one unless it's for your own entertainment, because the chances of getting a trending one is slim to none (unless your name is sues or sagittarian03)
b) there's no point in reading the comments unless you too are a Tory basher and delight in making/reading fatuous remarks.

Oh they also have a rather childish 'thumbs up' 'thumbs down' on the comments....which don't do anything i.e. it doesn't attract points or prizes, so are rather pointless other than to give resident clique another avenue to vent their spite by 'down voting' anyone they don't like.

Hi Lynne,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.

I'm sorry to read some of your comments and learn that you have not been enjoying the site.

We are aware of some of the offensive comments that certain members have been posting in the polls sections and I hope you may have started to notice we've been working hard to do something about it including:

- Additional reminders on the polls page that offensive remarks/abuse will not be tolerated and has no place on Viewsbank
- All polls are now approved manually before going live
- Members are given warnings and banned for repeated offenses

I'd also like to reassure you that our staff/moderators are not biased towards any particular members or political persuasion when it comes to the site. I'm sure I speak for all staff in that we would actually prefer it if all polls were unbiased and encouraged friendly and non-offensive discussion from all sides, as it would make our lives much easier. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion after all, and we simply ask that members respect each other's opinions, even when they differ from their own.

With regards to trending polls, these are simply calculated by an algorithm and have no manual input from any staff whatsoever.

I hope the above helps to clarify a few things, and also provides some reassurance that we are working hard to make Viewsbank a fair and safe place for all who wish to use it.

If you would like to discuss anything further, or have any other questions, I'd encourage you to reach out directly via [email protected].

Kind Regards,

James
Not a serious site.

August 14, 2022 by James from United Kingdom

It`s a rather odd one is Viewsbank. Every couple of weeks or so, they send me a survey which is fine. The trouble is, it is the same survey lasting about 3 or 4 minutes and is one where the answers to the profile questions, are pre-filled.

Having gone through this pointless exercise, it then either says that enough people with my profile have already answered the survey, or thanks me for doing it. This has been happening for months.

Odd. Most odd.

Hi James,

Thanks for leaving a review.

The surveys have been rather quiet since the new site was launched but we will be releasing more surveys to members as we get the new site up and running. We are also releasing third party surveys on the site (hopefully today) so members have more surveys to complete whilst we get our up and running.

There are also opportunities to earn money by submitting your own polls which pay £10 if they go on to trend, taking our daily admin polls and by entering our daily social media competition on Facebook and Twitter. We also run monthly prizedraws through the site itself.

Kind regards

Takes ages to get anything

October 15, 2021 by Martin from United Kingdom

Payments are automatically calculated on the last day of each month. If your account balance is over the £12 threshold required to trigger payment and your account has been verified before the last day of the month, you will be paid on the next Viewsbank pay day. Pay days for Viewsbank are the second Tuesday of each month meaning the date you get paid varies from the 8th - 14th of each month. Payments are made to the PayPal account linked to the email address you have registered with us. If you need to change your email address or verify your account, you can do this by clicking on the 'Account' tab, then 'Edit' and change your email address there or click on 'SMS Mobile' to verify your account. Please note you are paid the balance of your account at the time of calculation not the balance of your account on pay day. Any money earned after the last day of the month but before pay day carries over to your new balance.
BUT - most surveys already closed before you get them Took me nearly 6 months of wasted time and frustration before I qualified for my first payment. Frankly - don't bother.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Although I'm sorry to hear you have not had a good experience.

Whilst we are lucky in that our surveys are very popular and the quotas fill up quickly, this can unfortunately be frustrating to members, as everyone who receives an invite is usually eligible to complete the survey in most situations, and if you’re not quick enough you may find the quota for your age/gender/region is already full. We do understand this is frustrating, and we do take steps to alleviate this as much as possible, such as adding members in batches to the survey, and using profile information that we hold to send surveys to the most suitable members. It is worth checking your assignment page every now and again when you have a spare few minutes as the surveys often appear there before an email is sent so it may give you a head start.

We also have other opportunities to earn, including daily admin polls, competitions, social media competitions, mystery shopping projects and trending poll payments. Members who also get involved in these do tend to end up with more regular payouts.

Kind Regards,

Shirley
