Swagbucks is a website where you can earn rewards by doing activities you normally do, such as shopping, searching the web, watching videos, playing games, printing coupons, and taking surveys. Every time you complete one of these activities, you can earn points called SB's.
Upon becoming a member and logging into their website, you will see links to Shop, Search, Watch, Play, Answer, Discover.
You can redeem your SB's for two main reward options: cash, or e-gift cards. One SB is worth approximately 1 cent.
If you would like to receive cash, you may request a PayPal payment to your account. Payments take approximately 10-14 days to process and will be issued in US dollars. Denominations are $25, $50, $100, and $250.
Alternatively, you may request an e-gift card to major retailers such as Amazon, Home Depot, Starbucks, and more. Other options include Facebook credits, iTunes cards, restaurant gift cards, Cineplex credits, and hotel credits. E-cards are awarded within 10 days of request and denominations of anywhere from $1 - $100 are available.
Tip! Look out for “sales”, where gift cards require around 10% less the SB's they normally require.
You may also donate your SB's to charities such as Unicef, Doctors Without Borders, Red Cross, etc. Donation amounts start at only 5 SB’s ($0.05).
Daily goal points are offered where you can receive bonus SB's if you reach the daily goal by the end of the day. Receive another bonus when you reach the daily goal 7 days in a row. Bonuses are paid on or around the first day of the following month.
Swagbucks has been around since 2005 (the same year SurveyPolice was created!) and has over 13 million members, with over 2 million Facebook fans. They have awarded over 175 million dollars in rewards to their members making them, by far, the internet's largest GPT website. Every day, they award 7,000 gift cards to their members.
Eligibility: Swagbucks is open to residents 13 years of age and older who reside in USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, India, Australia, and Ireland

I have taken, or attempted, many surveys in Swagbucks. About half inform me that I didn't qualify, after I've wasted time answering 10 or more questions. Many other times, I've spent 10-15 minutes answering questions, only to be disconnected before points have been awarded. Factoring in all these annoyances, I would estimate that, in order to earn enough points for a $25 gift card, it will take about 25 hours of time on Swagbucks. What a waste!
Swagbucks is just terrible. Their surveys have always been broken or expired, and the support staff doesn't seem to want to help. So you'll only waste your time if you use Swagbucks. I would avoid this company entirely.
They will pay 2 whole cents for watching a 10 or even 20-minute video. Very similar to other sites like themselves.

I've tried many survey sites/panels before and nothing has ever come close to comparing to Swagbucks. Not only is it the most consistent of them all but there are multiple ways you can earn and it keeps it exciting. I've been a member for about 1.5 years now and have earned a total of $300. It may not be much, but it depends on the amount of free time you have and overall dedication you put in. I would highly recommend this survey panel if you're looking to make a little side money. It won't pay the bills, but it can cover some of your leisure expenses.
Update: I gave their customer support the benefit of the doubt mostly because what they lack they make up for in other areas; however, having experienced interaction (or lack there of) with their contact support just really puts them below. It is quite disappointing that such a great panel with a lot of potential lacks a quality team. Most of the time it's some sort of automated-like response or you get no response at all. I feel they need to value their members a lot more especially those of us who put as much time and effort.

Forget about surveys, there are no surveys anymore on this site, unless you consider Peanut Labs a legitimate survey, get ready to be rejected 99% of the times by them, and not to mention their bogus offers, which will flood your email with so many third party junk mail, avoid it like the plague.
